Hi all. Just saw a twitter update the site was back up. I’ve been traveling since Wednesday and every time I’ve tried to logon the site has been down. On the loot... Based on what Gaedren has said, I think we should hold on to the dagger. Once in a safer place (and probably next day), Dom might like to check its psychic aura and see if maybe he can learn anything more about it. I just don't think we should sell it right away. On the wands, I think I can use the wand of magic missile automatically since that's on a psychic's spell list and will definitely improve my combat effectiveness. I'm indifferent on the wand of acid splash. I am investing in Use Magic Device, but that's not on my spell list so it won't be very reliable. Might be better of selling it and sharing the coin.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as Nanta on the options. On the torture, while Dom might not be outright opposed to it, I just don't see that as an option given that (I think) we have at least one good-aligned character in the group. Honestly, Dom sees it as inevitable that the "law" will have its way with Lamm and, actually, has contempt for that outcome but doesn't see much can be done to change it. That said... How much can we draw on our contacts from our backgrounds? That's giving me a couple of ideas where we could park him somewhere but it wouldn't require a PC to be taken out of action.

While the man seems to be telling the truth, his words and actions are wholly at odds with what Dom "knows" about him. He glances over at Kesso, then back to Gaedren. Tentatively, he begins to reload the crossbow -- just in case -- then steps closer to Gaedren, clearing a path for the others. He then begins to study the man more closely, patiently trying to divine the man's aura. Hopefully the others can keep the old man talking long enough... Or just kill him already and be done with it! When the Abadaran calls forth the healing magic of his god, Dom's eyes go slightly wide in awe. He'd heard of and even seen such things a few times, but to witness it so close was a new experience. I think everyone except Kesso is on the upper/original level. I think Kesso fell through the fishing hole, into the water, then onto a boardwalk, and is now on a "lower level". Though, you're right. I haven't seen any stairs, though we haven't yet thoroughly explored.

GM, I can't recall if you previously invited us to post "instructions" in the event botting is necessary, but I did get around to it. They're saved on Dom's profile in a spoiler block, but here they are again given his abilities at 1st level: Dom will try to avoid melee combat and, if threatened, would cast mage armor. However, for offensive purposes, he will generally either fire his crossbow from range or, if that's not an option, simply try to demoralize an opponent. I'd rather save his offensive spells for when I want to try to cast (aka waste) them. (God, that fight was depressing.)
