Dervin cracks a smile at Dom, "Don't care about more dead in particular, but Sable Company will probably be sending out to recover their dead and wounded... we need to beat it. We are taking Lamn, so I need help getting him up. I'll go up through the trapdoor first, you all need to raise him up and I'll help pull."
Trapped?: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
His mind races, Sable Company sports some fine equipment. I'll need to make opportunity to check him out befor we hustle out of here. Just look for a quick grab...
Nanta
"We can report the location later, I hope no one is stupid enough to try to steal from even a dead member of the sable company."
I swear I was thinking of the warning before I got to Dervin's post.

when you go upstairs after a lot of heavy lifting you manage to get Lamn to the correct floor. during the lifting you hear grunts from lamn , "easy now" before coming up to the dead body of the hippogriff. most of you have never been this close to such a magnificent beast. you can see that there are many scraps and cuts on the creature, and the rider has a giant gash across his face not caused by the landing. looking through the hole you can see that there is chaos in the air. as beast fly around outside imps and house drakes have chosen now for some reason to start up their yearly fight. (knowledge local check for more info) when you first entered the fishery you could hear the town stirring with talk of the king in dead, now it seems the whole town is now on full on riot. people are on the streets fighting, vandalizing, and armed; Complete chaos.
Lamn looks at the group "Hah, glad i asked for you to take me somewhere safe as our agreement."

Dervin does a cursory look over of the Sable soldier, admiring his (relatively) higher quality garb and weapons. His mind races, armor would take too long. Weapons? Ehhhh, they might be unique to the Company, not too easy to pawn, or stand out too much to use...
"No, no, no... not *safe*. The agreement was to take you to your friends - nice try. Where is this place?"
Darkwing_DM
From the doorway at the fishery you can see a mass roit has taken place, so people wearing masks looting where you can see others protection their homes,. there appears also above you in the skies appearantly the house drakes and Imp has chosen this time to start their annual fight in the skies. Fires can be seen in the distance, and you can see no city guard or sable company in sight.
"There is a shop owner named Cho, a Tein man that runs a hearbalist shop about three blocks down." Looking at Dervin, "if I'm not "safe" i guess i cant give you info after all." he says with a smirk.

Know Local: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23 (Back to your post from Aug 17)
Dom takes in the sight through the hole in the ceiling with his mismatched eyes wide as saucers. After a moment, he blinks and his attention comes back to the room. It surprised him but he was growing tired of Lamm's games. "Dead is 'safe', too. Safe from further harm. Safe from pain. Safe from suffering. I'm sure the priest would love to see you 'safe'."
Intimidate: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11 I'm sure that will fail but Dom is still young and trying different things. Edit: LOL! I'm especially sure that failed after the roll. Oh well.
Looks like I also haven't updated my character's summary line. I'll try to get that done today. I do have his HeroLab portfolio updated, though, so should just be a copy and paste.

As Dervin moves the wheelchair through the doorway, changing position to make it seem to go smooth (whether it needs it or not.) he gives it and Lamn a closer once-over looking for hidden weapons...
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
"Let's get this crank to his friends. I swear, Lamn, if you renege because this Tein is not there, dead, you feel not safe or if this Cho tries to ambush us..." Dervin twirls a dagger about his hand.
"My patience has run too thin; we're done at that point, come what may."
Nanta
"Renege and you die. If your friends object and try to stop your execution then they die. Given the kind of people you associate with and would consider a friend no doubt they have untold crimes they have not been punished for." Nanta looks at Vyushi. "Gagging him would seem wise."
Darkwing_DM
"I am offended that you don't trust me, I have been nothing but helpful." he chuckles to himself, as if even he knows the absurdity of his words. "If you are ready to go so am I, should I cart myself in the rear? or is someone leading through this madness."
"its in MY best interest in getting there alive also you know, I dont think the gag would be a good Idea especailly since the fighter is missing. Looking around you do indeed see that Kesso is no longer in the group.
I just going to say that keeso must have gone home wooried about her family. If anyone wants to say she said something to someone before leaving you can otherwise it will just be a mystery.

"Three blocks then... best be on our guard." Dervin hurries the wheelchair along, but after a diozen step, slows down as he looks about his person. Another dozen steps & he lets go of the wheelchair and starts heading back to the fishery, "My morningstar. It must've gotten knocked off when we were getting Lamn up the trapdoor. I'll be right back."
He hustles, not a dead run, back into the building.
After about 20-25 seconds, Dervin appears, hustling out the doorway with Morningstar in hand. Securing it again to his waist, "Durn thing was in a dark corner of the room!"
Vyushi
Vyushi's hand immediately went to her temple and her eyes closed. One eye slowly opened after a few seconds as the headache lessened. "I don't know that I'll ever get used to that."
She fell in line after Dervin as they walked towards their destination. Her bladed scarf she continued to carry in her hands. With all of the chaos going on in the city, she wanted to be ready for anything.
Nanta
"Perhaps this wont take long enough for you to have to." Nanta says allowing a tiny amount of optimism.
