I think this reply got missed, as it was pretty late after Lizzy's. Still trying to work out a persona for Dix, plus it's tricky playing a mute, even if he's telepathic. ![]()

As Lyzzie and Lucas are discussing eavesdropping, and enhanced senses, Lyz hears a polite chime in her head. If she looks around for it's source, she'll see a young man with four frail looking arms floating nearby. He inclines his head her way, seemingly waiting for some sort of permission. ![]()

Took me awhile to figure out what to do with Dixurli, and while this isn't the best, its at least something interesting During the week, the silent, hovering young man explored the school grounds whenever he had free time, looking for a place to practice his archery. By Wednesday morning, he had a great spot in a large clearing on the far side of the lake. He set up various targets and shot arrow after arrow, all formed from the power of his mind. Around lunchtime, a couple of students passing by spotted the target practice and couldn't help by watch as Dix hit every bulls-eye dead center. One ran off to grab some friends and soon a sizable crowd had gathered. Di barely noticed, continuing his practice till the sun went down. By Friday, the crowd numbered in the couple of dozen as even a few teachers had joined in watching, after classes of course. Dixurli of course took notice by now, and decided to truly show off. He bend his mind and forms both soul bows, firing them in perfect harmony. Soon, bets began to be placed among the students. ![]()

Question, Is the Golarion solar system in our universe at all? If so, would it be in Empire territory, even if not necessarily controlled by them? If not, I need to figure out where the Kasathas come from then. Perhaps one of the other gem dragon planets? ![]()

After about an hour or so of being unable to communicate with the medical staff, Dixurli finally speaks directly into a passing nurse's mind. He was taught such a thing was rude, but if he was going to be subjected to more tests than at least it would be with his consent and approval. They spend the rest of Monday night and most of the day Tuesday running their tests and learn that he while he is sound of body, his mind is rather damaged. His time with the Empire was spent as a living weapon, silent, stealthy and unable to betray secrets for he could not speak. He was further modified beyond his original psionic capabilities to be an efficient assassin, but the torture, experiments and killing broke his mind. So he sits, well hovers slightly, in a room being taught the basics of social norms. That the people here, both in the medical ward and the school in general do not wish him harm. That its OK to be scared of another new place, but that he'll fit in here because there are many other refugees, escapees and others similar to him. That the staff of Avalon only want to help and will do whatever they can to try and help him live a normal life. Finally, they teach him that to sound a soft chime in somebody's mind before speaking to them telepathically and then wait for permission. While it will take time for this to catch on with the students of Avalon, the nurses will inform his teachers at least that this is the only way Dixulri can communicate and to help accommodate him as best as they can. ![]()

Several minutes after Korren disembarks the ship, another prisoner joins the gathering. His large bald head is mostly dominated by his massive forehead, and his small eyes are almost, but not quite on the sides of his head. While that is odd, what is truly strange is the four arms he possess. The arms themselves aren't so weird, but the fact that they look like frail, sickly twigs is. He's also floating, about three inches off the ground. ![]()

Di looks a bit irritated at the woman. "Well, that's just rude. I was just going to ask you if you had some sugar. Ah well." With that he touches his belt and suddenly the whole area around him is plunged into darkness. Casting Darkness centered on my belt. I have Darkvision, so I suffer no penalties ![]()

Di was already awake, arising in the predawn darkness that was his favorite time to meditate. He was therefore all ready to move when the officer yelled at him. He deftly snatched up his blade and joined the others. Upon getting their orders he jogged out of the tent, until he was well out of sight, the slowed to a walk. "Shall I scout ahead some, or do we want to all stick together?" ![]()

**appears in a puff of smoke** **Stabs random passerby** You rang? GM,
The historical ninja did not actually use a Katana, but rather a Ninja-To, a straight blade with a razor sharp edge. The blade was made in such a way as to be able to bear the weight of the ninja, who could use it to balance on. Stat wise, I would say it would be a Short Sword, but maybe a crit range of 18-20, but even identical stats would be fine, as long as I could stand on it. Also,
I'd like to be able to use it as a blow gun, which is common, and to have a few secret compartments, including one where I hide my thieves tools. Finally, I'd like the Pickpocket's Outfit from Adventurer's Armory. It adds +2 to hide objects in my clothes. ![]()

What exactly is God's Throne? Right now, when I picture it and this campaign, I see a massive evil looking fortress, in the end of valley backed up against a mountain. And there's all sorts of baddies we need to defeat so we can begin an assault on the fortress proper. I'm sure this is not at all what we're up against, at least not totally, but I can't help but see this in my ends eye when I think about this game. |
