Thanks! I see Dhan as a sort of Jim Rockford character. His background could be tweaked, if necessary, as he was originally created for a Crimson Throne game, or just move him from Korvosa to Magnimar.
ok, then I will add mine and re-roll the hitpoints (I only used 1/2 +1 after firsts level)
This is Daniel, and here is my submission. I did not add his animal companion (a mastiff) as I know some DM's do not like animal companions.

I would like to submit with a character that got part way through the first book before the game folded. I will level him up, and am thinking of taking a few levels as an urban ranger..
Oops..ok here is my answer to that question..will add to character sheet background as well. Question #8: Well I was brought in to assist with the finding of certain missing items, which I believe have now been found. My background and skills are of the kind the crown can use in many different ways. As long as the money is good, and I am not crossing the 'wrong' people, I am willing to find anything people have lost, and having the crown owe you one, well that cannot hurt!
When will the decision be made?

Dhan quickly cases the place, looking for exits and if anyone else might be aroound, hiding.
"I have checked the alley and there seems to only be one way in or out. Lets go and check out this place."

Moving around the building, Dhan makes a quick sweep of the area, noting any exits and what other businesses are around this building. He then returns to the group and gives his report
After talking to a number of the locals, Dhan passes on his information to the rest of the group. "Perhaps we should scout out the building...make sure there are no bolt holes or other exits our quarry could escape through."

Before the group gets too close, Dhan starts questioning some of the locals about the place.
ok..will add 312gp and 5cp to my inventory. How much is a potion of CLW?? While out and about, Dhan might pick up some. Any money left over will be kept at his home, to help pay for the orphans and such. (How many did we actually bring out...and how many stuck aroound??)
This is a weird question, but did we go up a level?? For some weird reason I thought we did, and I just never got around to doing it..lol
Dhan nods at Henric, and heads out the door. He turns to (not sure who has our reward now???) and says, "I can look into turning this into actual money if you want. I have a contact who is a jeweler who would pay well for it, and the box. What do you think?"
Hearing the name, Dhan gives a low whistle and shakes his head. "If half of what I have heard about that fella is true, I am surprised he has not gone rogue before now."
"As a citizen of Korvosa I agree with you Field Marshell. I cannot stand by and watch the city I live and work in fall apart. I am not sure if my skills will be of much help, but if so, then you have them."
"Dhan Semloh, finder and citizen of Korvosa. What is it that you want with us Field Marshall?" He leans casually against the door jam keeping an eye on the room and the hall at the same time.
Dhan gets his arm under the drunken guardsman and helps keep him from falling onto the ground. "Here now sergeant, let me help you up. Should we take him with us to the Citadel? I am worried leaving him here alone with the people is such a volatile mood."
"Can't say as I know him. He must have me confused with someone else. Do you know him Henric?"
Dhan whisters to the others, "I think a platoon of guards will draw more notice then if we went on our own, but I leave the choice up to you."
"I am Dhan Semloh, citizen of Korvosa, my lady." He again gives a slight bow, and then moves aside for the next person to introduce themselves.
Dhan steps forward, and with a little formal bow, answers the lady. "My Lady, we found this brooch in the hoard of a most villainous creature that goes by the name of Gaedren Lamm. Once we recognized that it belonged to the Queen, we hurried over to turn it back to its rightful owner.”
Dhan removes his weapons and hands them to the guard. He waits for the others to do the same, then heads to the courtyard with the others.
How do we want to deal with treasure?? We have a bag load of money from the stuff we took, as well as a few magical items. How should it be divided up, and who should keep track of the treasure?
LOL...no problem...I was sure that they would be magical...now we just have to get them identified!!
Huh...I could have sworn that the wand and the potions were magic. I wonder what the liquid is?? Maybe we should take it to an alchemist to get them checked out...did any of my contacts give me any idea what they might be?? And I guess the wand is just non-magical...and magic users who might want it??
Do we have anyone who can detect magic..as I think the potion and the wand might be. Also I think we were going to return he holy symbol to the church (I think someone made that suggestion) and I will fence the rest...Should come to a total of 1485gp. How many of us are still here??
"Well maybe it would be best if we retired back to my place and caught our breath, so to speak. We can then plan to get this item back to the Queen, as well as sell off the other items here. A little money in these crazy times cannot be a bad thing!"
Dhan watches as Alatáriël looks over the loot. "So what do you thing? I think I could probably find buyers for most of this stuff, and get a pretty good price. I also offer my home as shelter to all who need it! I am sure many inns are closing and barring their doors at this moment. The kids can stay there too, my dad wont mind a few extra hands to help out around the place!"
Dhan stands to one side, uncomfortable with the story that is playing out. While his friend had died by the poison sold by Lamm, he was no child. If Lamm died today, it still would not right the balance.
Dhan reels back from the mans attempted attack. "What the hells is this now!" he blurts while trying to stay away from the distraught man. "A little help here!! I do not wish to harm this fellow."
Well I think we have a good group here....and cover most of the basics....
LOL...nope..I am looking forward to this....I like my character and working with everyone else...it has been great so far!!
