![]() Hey guys, very sorry that I have been MIA. Had some stuff go on that I won't get into, but again I am very sorry to have impacted gameplay. To make matters worse I will be going on an extended cruise and won't have internet service until like Aug 7. Totally understand if you want to drop me, its a huge gap. Would like to continue, but its not fair to ask you to go on with my absence. Again very sorry. ![]() By reservoir I was thinking along the lines of a barrel to collect rainwater runoff from the roof or something like that, something that one might have in larger garden. Dex runs to the well and tries to draw water from it in a bucket [assuming there is one] to begin fighting the flames closest to the house. ![]()

Dex looks an things he might see a well directly south of him - he slings his bow over his back and races towards it. Is that a well, and is there a bucket or other reservoir of water apparent in the garden? ![]()

His nerves now finding their place, he calms himself and follows through with a solid shot that now protrudes through the hunters chest and out his back. ![]()

![]() Dex heeds Darius' instruction and shimmies past him as he moves towards him. As he does he draws another arrow and stops abruptly, his head tils slightly as he stares down the shaft of his arrow. For him time almost seems to stop, he hears his heartbeat echoing in his ears, keeping time like a drum beat in slow motion. He lets go of the arrow and time seems to speed up for him again as he raises his head to track its trajectory towards its mark. Attack w. C.Bow: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24 Should be no cover now

![]() help me understand why he has cover - doesn't my Precise Shot address the Darius/Hunter in melee penalty - is Darius providing partial cover? If so next time I'll move to get a more direct shot. ![]()

![]() For when it is my turn in initiative order ... Seeing the impending/unfolding conflict Dex raises his bow and draws an arrow, readying his shot for the thug in the middle of the garden. "We've got to stop them, they're trying to torch the place - try and leave one for questioning." The familiar feel of the bristled feathers in the fletching of the arrow immediately calm Dex, instinctively his heart rate begins to slow, his breathing becomes measured, in time with his shot. He casually twists the nook between his fingers as he times his shot. Attack w. Composite Longbow: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
But the mix of fire and darkness and the commotion are too distracting. ![]()

He lets Horatius take the lead with the dialogue and remains silent. He stealthily draws his bow and readies himself to take a shot if necessary. In the UEG it says that you add 2gp for alchemal silver per item - is that 2gp on top of the 20 arrows cost in total or 2gp added to each arrow? ![]() Darn, sorry I am late into this and I get Ninja'd by the GM. From the discussion - some background on Dex: Dex is a somewhat surly, speaks his mind kind of character. He is clearly not the face of any party, preferring more clandestine paths to getting what he wants. He's no Robin Hood, he's clearly out for personal gain, but if he sees things woefully out of balance he's likely to step in and assist, even if it isn't apparent that there is anything in it for him. He's dressed in dark, almost black leather, with dark blue, almost midnight colored shirt, cloak and pants. He tends to find a place in the shadows and likes to observe what's going on before calculating his next move. He is very comfortable with his rapier but prefers the timing and accuracy that his bow affords him. Dex enters the room just before the VC enters ... He rushes in, conscious that he is pushing the limits of tardiness, and purses his lips in slight apology as he scans the room, nodding to each as he meets their eyes. His eyes widen as he spots Kumari, "Ahh, a pleasure to see you again, what fortune to be working together on another assignment. He looks about the room and breifly states, "I'm Dex, specialist in stealth, the clandestine arts and archery, good to meet you all." ... and then the VC walks in ...
