is this one done now?? no action since 20th of March... too bad

Darpan looks over and spots Shane marking the path across a deep chasm.
"Should we wait for Beau and Wix? I have not seen Patracleus since that nest of snakes back there. I hope he is ok."

Is my above roll ok??

Ok..try the snakes again, I suppose!!

Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

That's much better!

sorry about that...my mistake...I will let it stay as is if the DM wishes...my mistake, my punishment...will make me keep a better eye on what the heck I am writing!! Thanks for pointing it out!

Stealth: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

Awww crap..just missed!!! Do I roll my fort now?

Darpan quickly walks across the slippery logs

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

Bounding over the trees, Darpan takes a minute to tear a bit of cloth off his gi and mark the easier path.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Darpan starts carefully on the narrow path, but suddenly notices the wider game-path and alerts the others to its existence.

Nope, not Darpan...any help we can get at this point....lol

Darpan waits to see what this so-called nobleman does before he joins the others o return back to the bridge.

Darpan continues to keep an eye on the creature, preparing to attack if the creature moves towards them.

Darpan steps out the door and moves out of the way so others may exit. His eyes never leave the creature as he moves.

Darpan quickly heads to the door and looks out to see what made the noise.

Darpan move quietly to a position behind Lord Klaustad. He watches him very closely as his companions question him.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Darpan stays in the shadows and watches this newcomer with interest. It seems strange to him that such a high born gentleman would be out alone in such weather, and would just 'happen' upon this tavern at this time.

Darpan takes a sip of the strong drink, then sets it aside. He watches the locals, trying to gauge their mood and reaction to the party.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21

Was not sure which skill to use

Darpan will then go inside and warm himself by the fire. If it is offeres he will also accept a bowl of soup.

Was there anything outside around the building? If not then I go inside with the rest of the party

Darpan will check out around the outside of this Inn. Just looking to see if anything looks out of place.

Darpan will hang back as the others go ahead. He will stay a little ways from the main group and keep watch on their back trail.

Darpan nods in agreement with Petracleus' statement. Let us hurry before a chill settles in our breast and we become further delayed."

Darpan continues to search the area around the coach, as well as in the coach.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

Darpan helps Beau get the person out from under the wagon

Darpan will move over the bridge to where the overturned wagon sits and start searching the area

Darpan nod to the warrior. "In many places I wandered with my Holyman weapons were forbidden to commoners. As his protector I was trained to use my body as a weapon, so I would never be without a means to protect myself and my Swami. Irori gives us all the weapons we need upon birth, it is up to us how we hone them! Unfortunately I am not well trained to deal with injury."he grimaces as he sees Beau's rather deep lacerations.

Darpan takes a step forward and attacks the skeleton which just struck Petracleus.
5 foot step to D-4 then attack skeleton 3

Attack-Melee: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 2 + 1 = 8
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Attack-Melee: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 2 + 1 = 19
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Darpan Init 11

Darpan again tried to strike the skeleton that has risen up beside him.(Number 1)

Attack-Melee: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 2 + 1 = 17
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Attack-Melee: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 2 + 1 = 18
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Whoohoo...now that's better!!

Oops forgot to add the +1...not that I think it helped, but who knows!!

Darpan - 11

Seeing the creatures rise up before him, Darpan lashes out with a double strike.(Skeleton 1)

Melee Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Melee Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Arrrgh...very uninspired rolls!!

Darpan moves up between the two corpses at the near end of the bridge (B4). He looks over the entire scene before examining the bodies to either side of him.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

Darpan shakes his head at the remains. The laws of the land are lacking here. Death and mayhem on the roads are a first sign to a greater ailment.
He follows the rest of the group, keeping his eyes to the heavy brush to either side of the road.

Dar moves forward to look over the body of the creature.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26

Darpan watches the two converse and then Wix offer her the torch. He walks over as she disappears into the undergrowth.
"Was there a problem?, he asks.

Darpan looks over to Petrracleus and answers.
" I am from a place you sometimes call the Impossible Kingdom, but we know as Vudra."

Darpan watches the others find a spot to rest and setup camp.
Well, I guess we are done travelling for now. he thinks as he removes his bedroll.
He sits down, takes out his flute and begins to play a quiet little song from his homeland.

Darpan will show the dagger to the others and ask if they know if the eagle-shaped hilt has any significance.

Darpan only has knowledge-Religion, but I do not think that would be relevant at this point

As she speaks, Dar keep a close eye on the woman, watching how she moves and what she says to discover if this is the truth of the story.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

When she is done talking, Dar go to examine the dagger the elf dropped.

Darpan stands impassively, eyes keenly on the leader of this group. He watches the other react to the 3 elves, and nods his approval.
It is good to see I travel with those who respect the law, and not a band of chaotic, bloodthirsty brigands...as these elves are proving to be.

"If it is true that this woman is some sort of shapeshifter, and has caused unlawful harm to others, then we will need to reprimand her to the local authorities...unless you are the representative of said authorities? And, of course, you will have some token to prove this authority?"

oops...sorry about that...just getting caught up in the action!! :-)

Moving slight forward, Dar speaks to the "leader".
"There is no need for this standoff. You are members of the Silver Arrows, correct? Is this woman, then, somehow connected with the Shadow Pack? If so, please produce your evidence. If the law is on your side we will help you, but I will not condone vigilant justice. Is that clear?"
He moves within striking distance of the leader as he speaks, taking small and unassuming steps to sidle up to the fellow...just in case they get hostile...ummm...ok, more hostile!!

Hold there now my good gentlemen. What is all this about? Why do you terrorize this poor woman so?"

"Day or night, it matters little to me. Lets us be off on this journey sooner rather then later. If there are forces which may wish to work against us, I would rather we were away from such a populous area."

Darpan will go now if possible...no sense sitting around waiting.....

Dar watches the human and halfling across the square. He continues to play for the small crowd that had stopped to listen, and he hopes, drop a coin or two in his begging bowl.

Darpan will continue to entertain people while waiting....does he gain any donations??

Dar agrees to meet in a few hours in the square. He nods to the young lady and heads out into the street.
Once in the square he pulls out his flute, sets out his begging bowl and starts playing.

Perform-Flute: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Dar watches from the sidelines, head turning back and forth as each person adds their questions or receives an answer. He absently reaches for the mead and pours himself a tall mug.

Looking over the room, Dar sees his contact waiting at a table he previously did not notice. Flushing in embarrassment, he moves over to the table and apologies.
"My most humble apologies. I did not see you sitting there, or I would have never ignored you to order a meal."
He bows to the halfling standing there.
Greetings! I am Darpan Bala Manujyestha. Please, just call me Dar."

My bad too...I mis-read and though she was not there yet....
