Alem looks about the area making sure not to miss a thing since the laboratory was very old and may hold some sercets to those that seek them. To that end he finds a sheaf of paperwork on the eastern table flanking the basalt block contains several alchemical formulae of great value to an alchemist.

Alem:

These include instructions covering the construction of restorative
ointment and marvelous pigments, making the papers worth up to 300 gp to the right buyer.

Asanna moves about slowly not seeing much of anything but for more bones at first look. After some times she happens on some bottles that are gripped by some of the skeletons. After looking more closely after finding these bottles she happens to find a tabarzin(great axe). It looks very well made with runes that cover the haft and blade. When she picks the weapon up the runes start to glow softly.

That is fine man, have fun.

You can roll perception or you can take 20 aka search in detail up to you.

Omaz can open the box with ease finding the above items within with ouch much trouble. The box looks worn as one can tell from being left in this area for as long as these bones were.

Alem staying at the lab sees some notes and a few things that might be useful later as well some useful things if he search them much more thoroughly.

The two move forward quietly attempting to not alert any enemies if there was indeed any. There are more bones that litter the floor not seeming to have been touched in years, if the thick layer of dust on them was to be believed. Finally they spot a larger pile of bones. Buried under a jumble of bones at the end of this passage is a small teak box emblazoned with the holy symbol of Sarenrae. The box contains a wooden holy symbol of Sarenrae suspended from a silver chain and an odd brooch.

Asanna moves forward slowly looking about as he went forward looking for anything that could attack her or the group. As she looks about she sees, The monastery’s undercrypt is a series of ten-foot-wide rough-hewn passages dug in a double-cross formation. The main thoroughfare runs north to south, with two similar eastwest passages crossing the main hall about fifty feet apart. An eerie silence pervades the cool subterranean funerary network, which must contain the bodies of scores—if not hundreds—of honored worshipers of Sarenrae in shallow niches carved into the walls of the east-west passages. Many of these skeletal remains have been roughly tossed from their niches, and countless bones and skulls line the floor.

Map
Please tell me which side areas you are looking through first.

The group heads forward as sneak about. The hallway goes on some before they reach a door that seems stuck when they attempt to open it. After a little work however they manage to open the door. When it opens the duo can see that it leads to even deeper in which has no light.

Map

Omaz does indeed not find any flasks all having been broken by the mold as it came out the group. The mold feels odd as Alem cuts into it putting it in to the paper, feeling almost as if he was cutting into flesh of some sort. The room is not quiet after the attack but there is more of the area to be seen.

The combination of Asanna's and Omaz's attacks seem to manage to slay the mold, as it stops trying to move toward them. Alem does not seem to know what it is from his quick look does not tell him what the mold is however.

Alem:

Is an alchemy set up for what you are not to sure.

Alem, Asanna:

Both of you notice the liquid within the glass apparatus, quivers ever so slightly.

As Alem picks up the flasks to peer up at them all the glasses in the room break causing an odd mold to form which appears sloppy, near liquefied plant matter festooned with tiny mushrooms and patches of sickly green and mustard-hued mold. It moves slowly towards the group.

Guys got a round to act and after this area is done you guys gain a level so think about what you wish to do.

Asanna and any who follow notice that the stairway is mold-encrusted, seeming to not have been touched for some time. It spirals around so it is not easy to be able to see where it ends or how far it goes. All that can be told from the top is the stairs lead underground somewhere.

Down the Stairs:

This chamber seems to be an enormous laboratory. Against the north and south walls are two identical daises raised about five feet from the laboratory floor, each accessed by a wide set of curved stairs. Atop each dais is a wide workbench covered in a bewildering series of glass beakers, tubes, alembics, athanors, and other alchemical tools. Some of these containers are filled with a murky green substance.
A massive mold-encrusted basalt table dominates the entrance of the room, flanked by two small tables to the east and west containing surgical tools and sheaves of old parchment. The walls of the subterranean lab were clearly fashioned from the living rock under the monastery, but carefully cut mold-encrusted tiles line the floor, interrupted occasionally by metal drains the size of dinner plates.

Map
Just tell me how you guys wants to be set up.

"What? Who was it? Learn war? Oh, man..."

"It is as I said, spirits take you over when you are in need. As for who they are I do not know. My wife would more than likely know, but I have not asked her about them yet. Now since I said I would help you I am going to, I am going to teach you the way my people go to war."

At that Enre looks at his brother and his eyes looks as if his brother was going crazy "Brother you cannot do that, from what my niece and nephew tell me even our people get hurt or die from the training they go through. Cannot put him through that."

Caedes turns to look at Enre and shrugs "He asked for help and I keep my word." He turns to look down at Gavin. "When will you be ready?"

Gavin Trell wrote:

After a few moments laying in his bed, he issues a groan, and half opens his eyes, seeing Enre and Caedes.

"Wha..what happened?" he asks, quietly

Both of them turn to look at Gavin, Caedes is the on who speaks "Seems you are being taken over by some spirits. Also seems you are not ready to learn to control it, it said you need to be taught the ways of war, before you are allowed to control it."

Caedes looks down at Gavin as he drops to the floor shaking his head at the spirit that had taken over the boy. He bends and picks the boy up putting him over his shoulder.
With him over he walks outside to find Enre waiting for the both of them, he looks down to his brother "I figured out what happens to him. Seems a spirit takes him over when he is about to die. Did not stay long enough for me to speak at length with it. Seems this young one needs to be taught war."

Enre shrugs at his brother having expected his brother to have wrecked the room, seeming to be happy to find that was not the case. With that done they take Gavin back to his room to rest up.

You manage to slay the Humbaba it dropping from your last assault. After that Caedes finally starts to move, heading towards you. He looks at you a bit before speaking "First you are going to stop appearing like this, troubles the boy greatly. Second need to allow the boy to learn how to call you when it is needed, should help him also he has the spirit of a warrior good lad. Lastly if you are wonder who I am to speak to you like this, boy asked for help so I am helping."

The humbaba seemed shocked as it was attacked so powerfully before it laughs and a multicolored aura comes off from the Humbaba. After the aura appears it grins before roaring at you, which causes fire to be unleashed from its mouth at you.

He takes the shield and mimics Caedes, but he can tell he doesn't have the proper upper body strength to use a shield properly. He does adjust it a few times, and gets comfortable with it on, and swings the sword around.

"Bob n weave then? Ok..." he gets into a crouch, trying to put himself as much behind the shield as possible, and faces the lion-person.

Gavin:

Caedes nods to Gavin as he gets behind the shield before speaking [b]"Good like that just make sure to move back with the blows."[/b when finished he just watched. as Gavin faces the Humbaba it seems angry that it was ignored and was facing the small human boy, instead of Caedes. It roars out about fools and insects before rushing at Gavin with a mighty overhand chop of its massive sword, it laughing about the puny bug all the while.

Gavin:

Caedes looks at Gavin before going into a pouch and pulling out a long sword and a shield. "Basics, keep yourself behind the shield like this." Caedes shows Gavin how, with the shield he has, before going on [b]"And you hold the sword low and at the ready like this." Again showing Gavin with the sword he has. "Finally always try to take a hit with the shield and do not brace yourself he is a lot stronger than you are try to jump back or roll away from the hit. Any other questions?" Caedes says all of this as the Humbaba looks at the both of them oddly.

Gavin:

As Gavin walks in the room changes to that of a massive arena. As he asks his question a massive humanoid with a lion like face which could only be a Humwawa spoke of looks at the both of them. Caedes nods before speaking "That is a Humawa some people know it as Humbaba very good fighter. You are going to go fight it, after what happens to you happens I am going to see how you fight as well as how in control you are before I see about forcing you to control yourself. Any questions but I let you go?" Caedes says to Gavin after everything is set up.

Gavin Trell wrote:

He looks a little worried.
"Ok."

Caedes nods to Gavin, as the trio heads off to the rooms. Once there Caedes steps inside the room waiting for Gavin.

Gavin:

Once inside Caedes looks up and says "Location, arena. Enemy Humwawa." He than waits for the area to change and for the enemy to appear before telling Gavin anything else about what he plans to do.

Gavin Trell wrote:

"Um. Sure." and he begins to follow.
"So you're, uh, going to try to make...what happens to me happen...on purpose?" he asks.

Caedes nods to Gavin's question, "Yes that is what I am going to do."

GM Spugly Fuglet:

Caedes is not a teacher, Enre would know about the Simrooms though thank you for the heads up however.

Gavin Trell wrote:

He looks up at Caedes, with some fear, then it seems to vanish, as he returns his gaze with resolve. "Yes. I don't want to accidentaly hurt anyone."

"Good young one. Where can we go for combat? Need to see how your condition manifest before I can help you more, so need to cause it." Caedes turns to look at both Enre and Gavin for such a place. Enre answers "There are some training rooms for that I know the way to them come." Caedes nods in approval to his younger brother before waiting for Gavin to follow so he may follow as well.

Enre turns to look up at his brother, who was looking down at Gavin. "Yes this is my older brother."
Caedes starts to speak in a much deeper voice than Enre but they sound similar "Greetings young one, I am General Caedes, my brother informed me you have a problem that is common among my people. You ready to overcome this?"

After everything was said to the students, Enre takes Caedes to Gavin's room. Turning to look at his brother, Enre knocks on the door waiting for Gavin to open it. Caedes while walking about had been looking at all the students and the school his stare very odd since he was much like Enre's but much harder. He stood silently as he waited as well.

The group follows Asanna along as she heads to the next room. As the group goes in they see ten bunk beds in various stages of disrepair fill this chamber, which must once have been a dormitory for students. The roof is mostly intact, and an open arch in the north wall leads to a large hallway. The east and west walls both bear sturdy wooden doors leading to other rooms, and an open arch in the southeast corner of the
room leads into a darkened antechamber, perhaps a large closet.

Map

Asanna looks about the room not seeming to find much as Omaz follows along with her not seeing anything either.

Alem:

Find some tiny armor and weapons, anything else you were looking for?

Asaana looks into the room seeing three long wooden tables and dozens of chairs that once lined this mess hall are in shambles, mostly rotted away with the passage of years. Light shines through several large holes in the ceiling, illuminating a closed door on the east wall. The longer she looks about in the room she would notice it could be used for a good place to stop back to if the items in it were removed.

Enre and his family finally get to the cafeteria. Caedes takes a seat with Enre as his children go to get food. He looks about at all the children seems to of approve as he waits. After a few minutes they come back with food, he thanks them before removing his helmet. After he looks at his children who start to eat before he does the same.

Enre was finished with getting ready for class and about to wake his niece and nephew up when he got the notice for the orientation he than curses about Caedes not being to happy about that.
Next he hears his brother's voice "You would be right about that my little brother." Caedes than turns waking up his daughter and son causing them to freak at the sight of their father. He turns to look at them all "Well than lets see what this school is like, since you all seems to like it from last time."

They all walk out to head to eat.

What Caedes looks like right now he also has a shield that matches his armor and a sword at his side.

Omaz and Asanna look through the kitchen, not finding anything of value. It seems that all the items are either gone or broken on the floor. Everything seems quiet now that the fight is over.

Asamma manages to slay the last pugwampi after unleashing her shot from her bow. The room seems to grow oddly quiet as this happens.

Anything rolls you want to do or questions about room please feel free to ask.

The last standing pugwampi fires as well, missing Drellik.

The group moves forward following Asanna as she attempts to move stealthily along the hall way to check out what is there. She looks in seeing beyond a door-less arch appears to be a large kitchen complete with walls lined in shelves and cupboards, a huge central table, and an enormous oven against the north wall. Several drawers and cupboard doors stand askew, and the floor here is a jagged field of broken glass, smashed pottery, bits of sharp stone, jagged bones, and discarded cutlery. As she looks in Asanna hears some odds noises before a few small arrows come flying out at her. She than sees what shot the arrows which are pugwampis.

Sorry about late post almost final time so a lot of stuff to do. initiative will not start yet, want to give everyone a chance to do something after seeing the arrows shoot.

Will do.

Seems lost a bunch of people, most likely my fault, I am sorry about that. Going to close this one down thank you for playing in my game as well as helping shape up my world.

Omaz looking about after being told about the tracks seem to notice a great many things. First of which is there seems to be some group of primates in the ruins along side the gremlins that the group had fought earlier. Second thing he finds out is the tracks lead him to areas close by.

As Asanna moves forward to look she reaches an archway, that leads to a hallway. This large but plain interior hallway leads to the various chambers of the monastery’s southern wing. A weatherworn statue of a winged woman stands in the middle of the hall. Based off of what you know the statue would be of the goddess Sarenrae.

Alem:

Vardishal was a once-immortal warrior slain hundreds of years ago in a great battle. Need history check for more on him.

Map

From now on can you guys tell me why you are rolling a skill? Just so I know for sure when I write it up.

Just wanted to say that I am sorry to all of you, I lost power for a bit there. I than want to say sorry again because I made a post but it seems to not have gone through and I forgot to check it again.

The group moves forward to take a better look at the ruins that they have been tasked with searching over. They look about as they enter a large debris-laden chamber once held a shrine and wooden altar, but all of that was smashed decades ago by vandals. The ceiling here has remained intact over the years, helping to preserve a huge bas-relief statue of a muscular humanoid man with a pointy beard gesturing toward a huge mountain in the background, his face a picture of mortal concern.

Most of the group does not notice much about the room but Alem, seems to notice that the area seems to hold much traffic for whatever leaves inside of these ruins. If any of the group wishes to go inside they notice that there is a large area to the left of where they entered(Right side on map.) and something to look through directly in front of them.

Religion, to find out more about him.

If you want to be somewhere else tell me.
