Has anyone tried this? It seems like it'd work pretty well, but I don't know if it would cause any problems.

I'll be honest, it almost seems designed for Laori.

Does anyone know of a way to get the maps for this AP digitally? I couldn't find anything on the Roll20 shop, but I'm also open to trying other VTTs like Foundry. Barring that, does anyone know of some good map-making software? Thanks in advance.

As the title, considering a theory build centered around the weapon (because I think it's cool).

Hello humans, elves, dwarves, etc! I'm here with a (dumb?) rules question about the Eldritch Scion magus archetype. It says "To use any ability that normally functions when in a bloodrage, an eldritch scion must spend a point from his eldritch pool (see below)." Below it says, "As a swift action, he can spend a point of eldritch energy to enter a state of mystical focus for 2 rounds. This allows him to use abilities from his bloodrager bloodline as though he were in a bloodrage, though he gains none of the other benefits or drawbacks of bloodraging."

Does this mean that when he's not in mystical focus, he can still activate boodrager abilities by spending a pool point? If so, for how long?

Hello fellow humans with the computer-bound acquired template! I'm preparing to run Curse of the Crimson Throne, but I have a history of underestimating certain difficulties, most evidently Hetuath of Fires Of Creation, and I was wondering if people who've GMed or played this ap knew anything to watch out for. I'm thinking mostly in the vein of encounters that are more difficult than they first appear, but any tips will be appreciated. If it helps, it looks like the party is gonna be a Witch, a Spiritualist, a Slayer, and an Oracle. Another thing of relevance is that I'm using both the original and updated versions of the AP, and plan do do a little bit of mix-and-match.

Thanks ya'll

Can a discorporated worm that walks cast spells? it says it loses all special attacks and special abilities, but doesn't really mention spells... feels like it could. I've seen the "worms can't talk" argument, but if they can't, how was he talking before?

Thanks in advance.

Hello all, here with a quick question about Furkas Xoud's bonus to hit on corrupting touch. I can't figure out why it's so low. It's a +2 whereas his to hit with his rod is +8. Anyone know why this is the case? Thanks in advance.

Hello all. I am running a Seven Swords of Sin game, and, as promised, the module's really difficult. The goblins riding dinosaurs smoked the party, killing the armored hulk barbarian in two rounds, and then knocking the cleric unconscious. The rogue and alchemist proceeded to run. The issue here is my players are heavily against optimization and very interested in roleplaying, they don't really enjoy making new characters all the time.

All this to say, I have an unorthodox solution that I thought maybe I could put on the internet to see what people more experienced than myself would think. The solution is... *Drumroll* a time warp.

Basically, every time that the players fail in a room, they, and the room, reset at the door. This is because Tirana's ritual, which by the way is using the unconscious cleric from before as a sacrifice, is, due to her drawing on ancient, incredible power from the past, is causing the disruption. they respawn because a benevolent time traveler who I built as a character a while back is cutting the timelines where they fail. There's also going to be some other vaguely time-warp-based weirdness. (Eg, the aforementioned goblin room has double the enemies, but they're fighting each other.)

This'll also let them do a bit of metagaming and trying out new tactics, because I'm not running this module super seriously, so we'll all still have fun even if they metagame some.

I'm going to try and play up the deja vu sensation that they get upon reentering a room, potentially add some Horror Adventures sanity rules. (Because that would absolutely drive me to madness after a while.)

I'm also planning on preventing the characters from leaving Kaer Maga until they find the source of the time warp and fix it, as they're playing a-holes who'd totally abandon the mission (and have already discussed doing so) if given the option.

Not really too much of a point to sharing all this, but suggestions would be cool and appreciated.

Hello, I'm a GM reading through Curse of the Crimson Throne in preparation for running it, and I was looking at Mandravius's armor. It says that it's Celestial armor, but also that it's full plate. I'm confused on how that would effect the statistics of it, if anyone happened to know a sensible interpretation of it, I'd really appreciate it.
