"Then we shall use our riches to buy this thing for the filthy half-orc," declares Crowe.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

'Fraid not...

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

"Can Crowe not just kill this Anwald? His piss-pots were little trouble."

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Well, we've completed the quests, I guess we toddle off to the nearest Pathfinder lodge.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

"Ha! Die, piss-pot!" yells Crowe. Then he wavers on his feet and falls to one knee.

End of rage, my hp drop to 1.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Crowe sways on his feet, weak from his wounds. But he fixes the halfling with a stare and with a primal howl sweeps his crackling earthbreaker at the tiny killer.

As before, blood-raging, power attack, elemental strike on Striker
1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 7 + 1 = 26 to hit, damage 2d6 + 9 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (6, 3) + 9 + 3 + 1 = 22 plus 1d6 ⇒ 6 electricity damage

EDIT: Ouchie, that will smart.

That should be asked in a Kenneth Williams-type voice. (Apologies to any foreigners for whom that cultural reference means nothing.)

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Crowe is actually quite badly wounded, so some healing might be nice.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Bloodied but unbowed, Crowe hefts his mighty hammer. The air crackles and the smell of ozone is strong. "Ha, piss-pot! Today you die!"

Blood-raging, power attack, elemental strike on Striker
1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 7 + 1 = 26 to hit, damage 2d6 + 9 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (2, 6) + 9 + 3 + 1 = 21 plus 1d6 ⇒ 5 electricity damage
Crowe rocks. If that deals with Striker, he'll move 30' towards Sniper (can't see the map right now).

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Double move to R11.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Crowe continues to close on his foes.

Double-move again. I think I can get to G8.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

"Ha! Crowe spies a piss-pot!" He begins running towards the Vessel he has spotted.

Double move towards AD9 by the shortest reasonable route. I think that gets him to N14.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

I think if someone isn't hiding you can automatically see them unless there are some other factors, like darkness, intervening cover and so on. The old DMG used to have a table for encounter distances in the wilderness, depending on the terrain, but I don't know if the Core Rules still has that. I think it's just up to the DM, based on what seems reasonable.

Grand Lodge

Crowe's init is 17, as above.

Stealth isn't really Alivar's thing either - he has a -1 Stealth check, so he won't bother. His Perception is 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 and his Initiative is 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Stealth - not bothering
Initiative 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

"Crowe will stay here. He is not stealthy, and anyway will not hide from the piss-pots who come to fight him. He shall stay here with his new friend, the filthy half-orc woman."

He won't bother to hide. Say he's in D4, if I read the map aright.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

"Cole fears not these vessels. He will use these vessels as his piss-pot once he has defeated them in battle. Ha!" Crowe finds his own joke extremely amusing.

There you are - a bit of PC trash talk. Our DM is almost honour-bound to hit us with assassins now.

Perception 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

"Thank you Zasha. Crowe thanks you for improving his vile Chelax-" He pauses. "Vile Chel scum."

"Forgive me, Crowe did not realize that you were a filthy half-orc, he though you were a human woman. Crowe does not judge by a person's appearance or heritage, and is very happy to be knowing a filthy half-orc such as yourself. In Crowe's land, which is close to Belkzen where the orc hordes breed like flies, filthy half-orcs are considered an abomination. But Crowe does not hold to such traditional views. Some of his best friends are filthy half-orcs."

He turns to Zasha. "Is Crowe saying this right? Sometimes he struggles to move between the Shoanti tongue and that of the vile Chelaxian scum."

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Crowe awkwardly shrugs off Alahazra's warm healing hands and trudges off with the rest from the field of battle. He looks at the fallen woman, then shrugs and walks down the hill.

Several days later...

"Um, Zasha, Crowe believes that Ulisha is a filthy half-orc. This woman in human."

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

"RAAAAAAAGH!"

Crowe attacks R2.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23 to hit, damage 2d6 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (3, 1) + 9 + 3 = 16
If that takes R2 down, he'll take a 5'step to E7 and confront W2.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Ooo, nice hit!

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Crowe has 15hp when he's bloodraging, so he's on 2hp. He'll be in lots of trouble once it ends, but right now he's in full possession of his faculties.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

On Crowe's turn...

"WOMAN, YOU GO TOO FAR!" Crowe pivots to send his hammer sweeping towards the woman leading the barbarians.

Still raging, changes target to attack R1
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16 to hit, damage 2d6 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (4, 4) + 9 + 3 = 20 plus 1d6 ⇒ 5 electricity damage

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

To save time, he will attack either R1 from G5 or R2 from F6, attacking the one which is not the woman (if neither is the woman, he goes from R1), taking a route which does not provoke an AoO. He rages, power attacks, and he will also invoke his elemental strikes ability.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14 to hit, damage 2d6 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (5, 4) + 9 + 3 = 21 plus 1d6 ⇒ 5 electricity.

As lightning crackles up his mighty earthbreaker, Crowe swoops upon his enemies like a thunderstorm. A bald thunderstorm with a big hammer.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

H5.

Which one is the woman?

Well, the mixed message probably didn't help.

Init 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17

Grand Lodge

"Woman, Crowe considers you fine-looking. It would upset him to mash your face and body with his hammer. Stand aside, and one day Crowe will return and add you to his harem. Fight him, you will die and never know the joy of receiving Crowe's member within you. Which would be sad for him and for you."

Intimidate 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Totally incapable.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

"Crowe is surprised it was so easy."

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Ooo, pretty!

Crowe peers in suspiciously, superstitious dread preventing him from taking the lead.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Taking 10 would only get me to 14, but if I can take 20 that'll get it open.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

"Less talk, more help," grunts Crowe.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

"So, Crowe pulls here..?"

STR check 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Clearly Crowe had worn himself out digging out the... whatever it is.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

"Crowe can deal with it."

STR check 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Perception 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

"Numeria. It is a hard land. Crowe knows this. Rocks fall on you from the sky." He looks up reflexively.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Knowledge (Local) (no ranks, so max result of 10) 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (15) - 1 = 14

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

"Evil magic," comments Crowe.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Crowe starts at Alhazra's touch, then changes the subject. "Er, ahem... So, this was a small warrior. His sting was sharp."

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

It's going to be pretty winded once Crowe finishes with it.

Alivar.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

He's still raging, so that's 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 That may provoke an AoO since he has no feats in this area.

The lantern seems to be resisting as Crowe tugs at it.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!"

Perception check on the lantern 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

To save time...

Crowe casts about, trying to find the source of the attack.

Perception 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 Not much insight there.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Crowe wasn't holding it, he just nudged it cautiously with his foot.

"Huh?"

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Crowe is amazed he managed to hit it with a 13.

"RAAAAAAAGH!"

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Crowe roars and pulls out his mighty hammer, swinging it at the elk's head.

Raging, drawing weapon and using Power Attack
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 to hit, damage 2d6 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (1, 2) + 9 + 3 = 15

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

Crowe dodges the flying head by reflex, although he's nevertheless nonplussed by what is happening.

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

"Ooof! Ha! No one can move Crowe!"

Grand Lodge

current hp 3

"Huh?"
