I'm still game, but I've lost all absorption. I can hardly remember our objectives.

Droid, are you still here?
Would it help to recap our mission objectives?
I thought you took a bunch from a bad drain resistance test. Crix pockets the patch, hoping he won't have to use it.
"I'm not much for asking. More for doing. But I'm not feeling up for another fight at the moment, true enough."
With that, Crix takes the slap patch, considers it for a minute, then hands it back to Jack. "You look like you need it as much as I do."
"Doesn't look like anyone's paying attention yet. If they started paying attention, I might someone in the shadows to have my back. After all, isn't running the shadows what we do?" Crix retorts, then rubs his ribs, wishing he had some pain killers.
"So move in together or split up first?" Crix asks, considering stealth.

Crix waits for Jack's assessment before snooping around in his only element, the meat world.

"My body still hurts..." Crix whines.

Sorry to hear it Jack. Hope everything works out.

"Sounds more than fair. You good for it kid?" Crix asks in his usual blunt manner.

Jack can't heal stun damage.
-Posted with Wayfinder
Correct! I need to take off that 1 physical though, thanks to Jack. I took overflow stun in that last fight due to good damage resistance and bad dodging.

I don't believe we had found the warehouse, no. And Crix has neither social rolls nor nuyen, so someone else will have to do the throwing.
So what's our plan from here?
-Posted with Wayfinder
"Sure, if that's a thing you can do." Crix says, displaying as much understanding of spells as he has of electronics.
Dang. Okay, I'm up to speed.
I still have 6 stun and 1 physical though. I hope that works itself out.
Oh, I see. I deducted the two on the guy's medkit test. Hm. GM? Should I re-roll it all, or just leave it as-is?
"I'll try to keep it in my coat." Crix responds with resignation.
Body+Willpower+3 test: 11d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 6, 6, 5, 6, 2, 2, 3, 1, 4) = 38 = 4
"Good call... Jinx, you said? Let's go find a quiet bar and have a drink." Crix suggests after getting further medical attention.
Heal: 8d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 2, 6, 5, 1, 4, 6) = 31 = 3 hits
So, by my understanding, that heals 1 box of stun immediately and that's all.
If you have an Android phone, Wayfinder might help you post more consistently.
"I'm Crix. I handle targets a lot. But keeping them alive is not my normal line of work." Crix rummages around in his coat for a while, briefly flashing an absurd amount of knives, before giving up. "Ice. I think I need an ice pack." he concludes.

"I've had better days. I could use a rest." Crix says, barely able to hold himself up.

Sounds like Miyako's department maybe...?

One of the hackers hacked it. It took full matrix damage and got knocked out, however that works. But I made Crix as a technophobe so it's not a huge deal. He doesn't even use a smartgun system for his pistol.

Is my commlink still down?

Crix struggles to his feet, holding his chest and cursing. "I feel terrible." he mumbles as he approaches the rest of the group. "What happened? Did we win?" he asks sarcastically as he takes notice of the current situation.
Oops. I remember reading that now. Just forgot.
I'm here, but again, I'm unconscious, so I don't have a lot to contribute. I'm still following the posts though.
Let's not forget that I'm unconscious. So someone carry me or something.
Trog could carry some extra weight in combat for sure, but wouldn't be doing us any favors on the social side of things. Still, I guess if you're tough enough, diplomacy is mostly unnecessary.
Alternatively I could bring in Lyst who is somewhat of a face and let your Trog fill Crix's combat role, but changing characters in the middle might interrupt the feel.
Of course, not playing for months might have already done that. So I'd leave that one up to the team.
That's like all I do is make characters.
We could use a face. Look into making a high CHA & AGI Elf with some pistol skill (hold-outs?) and lots of social focus. You can use the remainder to splash in some magic. It's an easy and powerful build.
Indeed.
And I am currently unconscious fyi, so pardon my infrequent posting. I just don't have much to do.
I think we were using 4e.
Me either. I've read a lot of the material but I've only ever played one game.
I was thinking about switching to Lyst if we got another game going.
Be sure to check out the PbP I was in, "Back in Business", that was going quite well until the GM dropped out. My whole team is still intact and I might even be able to bring in one more. What we really need is a GM.
The other players are Miyako, Droid, and Jack.
I've harassed the recruitment boards enough lately, spamming to fill an empty role filled for my own campaign. Someone else should probably do it.
Well if we're all still here, we could post in recruitment looking for a GM. It's a good team.
Yeah me too. Just totally unconscious.
Check out "called shots".
Quote: Knock something out of the target’s grasp. The attacking character
receives a –4 dice pool modifier on the attack. If the modified
Damage Value of the attack exceeds the target’s Strength, the target
loses his grip on the object. The gamemaster determines whether
or not the object is damaged and how far away it is knocked.
This looks like the closest thing mechanically. Of course you should combine that with "take aim".
Most things in the matrix don't use your actual stats. But if you're using high-end programs and have crappy Logic, that's generally frowned-upon. It's called a "script-kiddie", and carries a social stigma. That said, you can make any character a passable hacker without the stats to justify it.
I could totally handle this. If I were conscious.
Ugh. Fine. AGAIN.

Crix succumbs to the small arms fire and falls unconscious on the ground.
Crix spends his time dodging bullets again this turn.
