Hi Everyone. I am somehow still in this campaign. If the GM could go to the Campaign settings and deactivate me, I would appreciate it.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Hey everyone, I'm making the difficult decision to end my play by post career here on the boards. My energy levels and mental acuity haven't rebounded post surgery to where I need to be to keep up with my games. As a result, something that was long a source of joy has become a source of frustration and woe.

Thank you for all of the help with the rules and for mentoring me in some Savage Worlds adventures.

Please make me inactive as a player/character.

Hey, everyone. between the technical problems and my inability to make myself useful in this game, I think it is time for me to head for the stars. Thank you for the opportunity. Sorry for wasting your time. Please mark me as inactive in this campaign.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Sorry, I should have put an ooc note with that post. As a player was looking for possible trouble. Not a shootout or anything. Conrad is absentmindedly looking for/attracted to something like the home he lost in the war. Was thinking old farmer, farmer's daughter, kids playing among the trees, things like that as encounter. Even a barn cat or something. Or someone more hostile that brings up his hackles and he has to tame the urge to "handle it."

I use the Paizo Chrome Browser Extension, which highlights in orange any new posts in my campaigns page of my main profile. I keep a bookmark to that page so I can see at a glance the new posts. The extension also allows you to substitute the Paizo icon with an image of your own, although only you can see the alternate images. I usually have an alternate image for my PC and sometimes for other PCs.

I use that extension as well. This game has fallen into my list of inactive campaigns that sits at the bottom of the campaigns tab.

I reached out to customer support. For now I'm just navigating her manually.

Conrad will wander away from crowds, toward fields or better yet an orchard if he can find one. Sun on his neck, wind in trees.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

GM, can you check and see if I am an active Player and Character in this Campaign?

It isn't listed in my active campaigns for some reason. I thought nothing was happening. Sorry for missing out.

"Who knows. They were more like animals than people. Come to think, maybe we should take one of them apart, see what makes it..."

Shall we go find the others that ran off?

Conrad nods. "About the only thing I'm good at these days." He holsters the guns.

"Let's see if they are all right."

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Conrad will turn his fire to the Reaver attacking Harold.
Shooting 1: 1d10 ⇒ 3
Shooting 1 Wild: 1d6 ⇒ 4 Not sure if that hits. Is there a penalty for shooting into melee?

Colt 1911 damage: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 4) + 1 = 11
Damage ace: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Shooting 2: 1d10 ⇒ 9
Shooting 2 Wild: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Shooting 2 Wild Ace: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Colt 1911 damage: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 4) + 1 = 11
Damage ace: 1d6 ⇒ 5 16 total

Possible Damage from Shooting raise: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Possible Damage from Shooting raise ACE: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Possible Damage from Shooting raise ACE: 1d6 ⇒ 5 17 more?

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Conrad continues to throw lead at the Reaver attacking Arabella.

Shooting 1: 1d10 ⇒ 7
Shooting 1 Wild: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Shooting 1 Wild Ace: 1d6 ⇒ 3 Total=9

Colt 1911 damage: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 6) + 1 = 11
damage Ace: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Raise on Damage from Shooting roll of 9?: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Shooting 2: 1d10 ⇒ 6
Shooting 2 Wild: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Colt 1911 damage: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 2) + 1 = 7

Everyone is likely too busy to notice, but the normally awkward Conrad seems the opposite of Arabella, as if he only feels at ease in moments like this.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Conrad hasn't yet found his place on this crew, or at least hasn't had much of an opportunity to prove his worth. Looks like the time has come. His pistols come from their holsters with a tried and true smoothness and he is shooting almost before his conscious mind even registers it.

Shooting in the dark 1: 1d10 - 1 ⇒ (6) - 1 = 5
Wild: 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (5) - 1 = 4

damage: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (3, 3) + 1 = 7

Shooting in the dark 1: 1d10 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0
Wild: 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1

damage: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 4) + 1 = 11

I was thinking of Powell as a gunslinger who wouldn't be without his guns, but if that isn't the right vibe, let me know.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Conrad puts his spoon onto the table, frustrated to have a meal interrupted. He reflexively does a "pat, pat, pat, pat," checking his two sidearms and the two smaller guns concealed at his forearms. He moves toward engineering, following in Harold's wake.

Notice: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Wild: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Once the physical work begins, Conrad seems more comfortable. He can move heavy things well enough. Doesn't care much for thinking about solving problems.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

I'm good with Rule of 2.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

As he moves, Powell mutters, "Death wins nothing here, gnawing wings that amputate––then spread, lift up, fly."

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

[b]"Looks like the crew is probably gone. Let's check to see if there is any cargo to salvage and get off of the garbage scow.[/ooc]

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

"Seems like this might be a fool's errand. Lookin' for survivors."

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Conrad follows.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Notice: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Wild: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Conrad keeps an eye out, for threats, mostly, but also for any sign of what happened.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Conrad moves to back Harold up. I imagine this isn't the first time...

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Going. Two pistols, two derringers, stun baton.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

"The hard part is going to be killing some folks and saving some folks, and making sure we get the right folks sorted into the right category. Everybody get their d&%ks screwed on right..."

Conrad checks his gear and licks his lips nervously.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Conrad settles into his cabin. He doesn't have much. A few scarves, his coat, his guns, a gun cleaning kit. It doesn't take long for him to unpack. Once he does, he makes his way out into the ship to familiarize himself with the ship and its crew.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

I'm good with being heroic. I am not at all an expert on the series, more of a casual fan, but I think what we see is that they do what is right, helping the little guy, fighting against large scale governments but not local government, fighting banks, corporations, big wigs.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Powell's goal is to only attract as much attention as is strictly necessary and not a drop more.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Conrad moves away from his wall flower position to dance. He is not a good dancer, but bad dancing can add to the spectacle, right?

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

"Shame with all this money about and we are trying to steal a mechanical doohickey.

Conrad attempts to remain innocuous behind some decorative plants or something.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Added a derringer and two wrist holsters.

Thanks.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Up to speed on the plan.

"Sounds simple enough."

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Are there holsters? wrist holsters? concealed holsters? That sort of thing. I have 1400 to spend. Those wrist holsters that are concealed that slide the guns into his hands would be cool, but I'm not sure if that is setting appropriate.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

To Betsy he says, "Got one, but always preferred two guns, as Harold can attest. I'll be of whatever aid I can be. Give me a few minutes to get cleaned up."

"Happy to be of service to all of you. I'm not the best at fancy events, but let me know what needs hurtin' and I'll get the job done."

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

"I don't think they'd have any quarrel with you or your ship. What they want is their money. Getting in the way of me earning can't help them there."

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Conrad seems both relieved and reserved, but the grim slit of his mouth cracks a small grin, "Harold! Fiver, huh. Owe some other folks a lot more than that these days. Heard you might be here, looking for work, or a way off planet at least. You know I'm pretty good with a gun, or fists if it comes to that. Thought you lot might need some extra muscle."

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

At which time, there is a hail from outside.

"Halloo the ship! Is there a Harold Wainwright aboard? I might be an old friend."

The man behind the call is whip thin with a face like a chainsaw sculpture and a flat nose that has seen more than its fair share of breakage.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Sometimes I agree with that, but in this case I think it makes it easier for me if I am a new hired gun. Maybe someone one of you knows so that there is a reason for trust.

Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 7 (2)

Hey everyone, I am ready to hop aboard. Not sure how you want to bring me in. Powell is a merc with a mean streak and a heart of gold who owes someone a lot of gold, so it is pretty easy for him to get drawn into trouble.

I think I failed to buy ammo, so I'll take care of that, but this alias should be functional.
