OK, here's the fighter build.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

I am under the impression we broke the game.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Not sure on the range to the target. He will step in 5' if it is over 20'. Assuming I'm within 30', but that's not a big deal. If outside of 20', subtract -2 for range increment.

swift to activate startoss style
rapid shot, startoss (all), clustered shots, inspire courage, blessing of fervor for extra attack
to hit: 1d20 + 46 ⇒ (17) + 46 = 63 damage: 1d4 + 41 ⇒ (1) + 41 = 42 hit
to hit: 1d20 + 46 ⇒ (19) + 46 = 65 damage: 1d4 + 41 ⇒ (2) + 41 = 43 hit
to hit: 1d20 + 46 ⇒ (9) + 46 = 55 damage: 1d4 + 41 ⇒ (4) + 41 = 45 hit
to hit: 1d20 + 41 ⇒ (3) + 41 = 44 damage: 1d4 + 41 ⇒ (2) + 41 = 43 hit
to hit: 1d20 + 36 ⇒ (6) + 36 = 42 damage: 1d4 + 41 ⇒ (2) + 41 = 43 hit
to hit: 1d20 + 31 ⇒ (14) + 31 = 45 damage: 1d4 + 41 ⇒ (3) + 41 = 44 hit

total damage after DR: 255.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

"Churley know morality not exist without free will. How can you be a god but so ignorant?"

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Churley will activate his unfettered shirt during his waiting round.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Dotted.

OK, ready whenever.

OK, here's the alias I will be using. Ignore the background as it isn't suitable or necessary in this case.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Let's put it simply- do you have a character ready and a linnorm picked out? If so, then say so and he will run it.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Not big on pvp. Think I'll pass.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

I'm more in it for the Linnorm fight than this part, so whatever you judge is fine with me.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

I have enough money to pick up some alchemical items.

Alchemist fire, acid, bottled lightning, and liquid ice. 2 of each.

That's about it, then I'm ready to go.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

I'll look into it as I use Chrome.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Yeah, your AC is low enough it would be profitable to deadly aim all the shots, then you would be dead in 3 hits or so.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Honestly, I'm not sure I can take you since I cannot deal with the regeneration.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Grr, network went down in the middle of the post last time and lost it.

Chakrams are melee, so they can do AOOs.

to hit: 1d20 + 33 ⇒ (10) + 33 = 43 damage: 1d8 + 18 ⇒ (8) + 18 = 26

Beauty of this is (from the PRD:
Unless otherwise noted, performing a combat maneuver provokes an attack of opportunity from the target of the maneuver. If you are hit by the target, you take the damage normally and apply that amount as a penalty to the attack roll to perform the maneuver.

So the trip is only a 41, which fails to trip.

The first disarm works, then the second has to be a steal, which works as well.

However I do have called property on the adamantine chakram, so as a swift action on my turn I can call it back to my hand even if held by another.

so I can light it up again.

startoss style, rapid shot, point blank shot, clustered shot (so the DR only applies once), +3 adamantine weapon, so it counts as cold iron as well.

to hit: 1d20 + 35 ⇒ (7) + 35 = 42 damage: 1d8 + 33 ⇒ (2) + 33 = 35

"Thought you were tougher that that eh beasty?"

startoss, point blank, clustered, close quarters thrower, rapid shot

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Churley will throw a full attacks worth at it.

startoss style, point blank shot, clustered shot, close quarters thrower, rapid shot
to hit: 1d20 + 35 ⇒ (6) + 35 = 41 damage: 1d8 + 33 ⇒ (7) + 33 = 40

to hit: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (11) + 20 = 31 damage: 1d8 + 33 ⇒ (1) + 33 = 34

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

reflex save: 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (15) + 27 = 42 with evasion, no damage. He then moves out of the ash cloud. Not sure how far that requires. If too far for a single move, he will double move and not throw.

He will throw once at the critter. Not sure how far away it is right now.

swift to activate startoss style.

to hit: 1d20 + 37 ⇒ (2) + 37 = 39 damage: 1d8 + 32 ⇒ (5) + 32 = 37

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Churley will drink his potion of resist fire 30, then quickdraws his cold iron chakram so he is armed.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

"Surprised that linnorm hadn't already eaten those dhumps. "

as he gets near the lair he will get his resist fire potion handy.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

What I get for being cheap and not putting seeking on the chakram, but improved precise removes any concealment short of total, so it doesn't matter really.

"Seriously guys, are you that set on dying? Really?"

he will pick the one which attacked him and volley his charkram at him. He will shift fire as they drop clockwise.

point blank, deadly aim, rapid shot, clustered shots
to hit: 1d20 + 31 ⇒ (14) + 31 = 45 damage: 1d8 + 43 ⇒ (2) + 43 = 45

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

"Suicidal eh?" and he starts throwing his chakram at the apparent leader.

swift action to activate startoss style

rapid shot, point blank shot, startoss style, clustered shot, +3 cold iron chakram
to hit: 1d20 + 36 ⇒ (6) + 36 = 42 damage: 1d8 + 33 ⇒ (5) + 33 = 38

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

OK, Churley is ready.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

We still active?

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

OK, weapon masters handbook is now available in Hero Lab. I'd like to revise Churley to take advantage of all the stuff from that. I used a couple of things, but not much since I had to do it by hand.

As we haven't fought anything yet, I figure it shouldn't be a big deal.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

ok, have a safe trip

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

"Yes, Giants and dragons bad. Ogres boring. We must get ready. No time for cheese curds. "

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Churley takes the paper, turns it upside down, turns it sideways, and then nods.

"Churley agree. Churley not sure about what, but Churley agree. "

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

"But mayor want speech. Churley give speech and meet you. "

Churley find some slightly raised point from which to orate.

"Mayor ask what Curley see in future. Churley sees enemy driven before him. Churley crush enemy. Churley hear lamentation of enemy women. Churley get cheese curds. Churley like cheese curds. "

When the applause, if any , dies down he heads for the Inn.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

"Churley hungry. Think dinner in future. "

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

"Like good Shoanti, Churley proudly wear scars. Big nose not good scar. "

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

The Gameplay has been up for a while.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

On the plus side, the Hero Lab update with the Weapon Masters Handbook will be out soon, so I should be able to be all built up when we start (without custom feats like now)

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Tis a rare thing when a game never even gets off the ground. Sure hope they show up. This was going to be fun. Churley can be a hoot to play.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

They get over the night noise fairly quickly. The accidents take longer. (have 2 dogs currently, owned one before these two, have spaced them in the years, I cannot imagine trying to manage multiple puppies at once).

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Puppies are an immense time sink surely.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

"Churley think statue nice. Churley have too big nose on statue though. "

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

All good here.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Well it does seem like a whole lot of swinging to do less damage than my little knife, but every bit counts (though actually I imagine enlarged, you will exceed me per hit., though I doubt it in DPR).

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

For the kill on Barl, it could be a crit from Churley. As his weapon does triples, and that means around 60 points, he wouldn't have had to be all that low for a kill out of the blue.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

That looks fine.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Then I guess we better all just get started on our custom 30 point build races. You know, sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

It's not about overpowering or not. It's about fairness in resources available at character start. The fact that you are trying to squeeze in a pre-existing character from a campaign which allowed such things doesn't mean the rest of us happen to be interested in playing in a campaign of that sort.

Though somehow I rather doubt it will make any difference restating it.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Since my point seems to get no traction, I will leave it up to the GM.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

You're missing the other option, where 3 of us decide to walk because we don't like a broken build and the game folds.

The GM has another group, he can run what he likes. I have a number of other games. I can keep busy.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

By going from a human to a custom 30 point build I could add:
+4 to all physical stats and wisdom, with only -2 to charisma
+2 dodge bonus to AC
+1 natural armor bonus.

Some of those bonuses cannot be replaced easily by magic.

So basically you just want a leg up. Others have managed to accomplish their goal by using a normal race and class features. Why exactly do you get to just make a custom race to get around that?

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Savage Species is a bit thin on Lycanthropes. They are just described as a +3 level adjustment in general.
