Going to bed but I had done the math on Cali wrong. She is at 45 out of max 55 hit points. Started at 43 minus 27 plus 17 (healing) plus 12 (con boost) = 45 and her max is 43 plus 12 for 55. Yay for elementary math lol.

No DR against Acid for me I'm afraid.

...Meanwhile in the plane between planes, a very sticky and slimy Caliphana grumbles... Yech! That was revolting! Note to self...SMACK Arasmes when I see him next for not dismissing me BEFORE i went down the giant spider's gullet!

Caliphana snarls in pain and bites into the creature as hard as she can.

Single Bite attack, since bite counts as piercing she doesn't get the -2 to attack for fighting underwater. She does get -2 for being grappled and because she is using a natural weapon she does not need to make a grapple check to attack.

Arasmes, can Cali fly us over the filthy lake and land near the side passageway's entrance?

Not in her current incarnation, but thankfully I was able to puzzle out a spell recently that will allow me to make minor alterations to her form for a short time.

Arasmes moves over to Cali and places a hand upon her shoulders, making a quick pulling motion a pair of brilliant white leathery wings burst from her shoulders.

It will not last long, a few minutes at most to maintain the change but it should be sufficient to move us across.

Casting Lesser Evolution Surge, to add Flight (Wings) for 7 minutes.

Cali will immediately start ferrying everyone across, starting with Arasmes.

Two things of note -

1. Remember the doorway on the far side of the water is fairly narrow. If I'm correct in my reading - you are attempting to fly over the water with a person and fly through the doorway?

Again - this is a important question - especially as it relates to the space of the cave - but how wide are Cali's wings - her wingspan? In other words - can she fly through a doorway if the doorway is too narrow; especially while carrying someone? This is an important question for spacing that I will need to know in general - and it doesn't just relate to Cali; but the group as a whole.

At this time - you wouldn't know specifically how wide the doorway is - yet - though you do have some guesses from the others. But I need to know it for what could/might happen next.

Don't mean to be a stickler - but based...

No problem. I can explain.

Cali is not flying into the doorway but is stopping just outside it and placing Arasmes into the doorway. She has 10' reach for her claws and bite in this form and as such should be able to place him into the tunnel while keeping far enough outside to be able to use her wings.

For your second question he is being placed in the square immediately inside the doorway. Once placed he will move in so that the next person can be dropped off and so on.

At a mental prod from Arasmes, Cali follows Yillim down the stairs, staying close to him and keeping her eyes and ears sharp.

Cali turns around and goes lowers herself by her front down as far as she can and then drops the last 10 feet, turning and landing like a cat.

Acrobatics to negate falling damage. 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

Cali raises her head up from Arasmes lap and stretches her head forward, lightly touching Isani on the shoulder before saying in Osiriani Thank you again, Bint al'Shams. I enjoy my new form. With that she pulls her head back to resume being scratched by Arasmes.

Caliphana falls aside to lope along with the wolves, speaking Osiriani to Blackfang she says The many armed one says you speak Osiriani. Welcome to Praxis. Tell me if I can help you or answer questions. With that she falls silent and moves off allowing them to return to conversing should they wish.

Cali begins pawing at it and trying to catch the little insect.

Caliphana soars along above the group enjoying the freedom of flight and her form. It is good to fly again. I feel my strength with the Shemzar growing. Arasmes pull across the planes is improving and allowing more of myself through. These forms that they wear are so...restricting at times. Looking down from about fifty feet in the air, Caliphana stretches her claws and returns to watching the distance.

Shemzar is what she calls her home plane.

Caliphana looks at Mister as well and says We will feast on these crows entrails, you and I Mister. Their blood will wash our fangs and claws.

Caliphana inclines her head to Ariarh and says in perfect but halting Celestial Thank you my lady but it was something any friend would do.

Turning to Shaezon she says in perfect but halting Elven Yes Magi, though I only learned that name recently. We have no name for ourselves, names being as changing as our bodies. With that she returns to Arasmes side and begins to look around taking note of everything.

One other thing you notice now is a glowing blue rune on Caliphana's forehead and you see a hint of a blue glow on Arasmes forehead under his Kheffiyeh that is not wound as tightly as it normally is.

Caliphana shakes her purple fur out and waits for the introductions to finish. She is the size of a small bear but has the body shape and style of a predatory cat with a canine muzzle. Her head has two black forward swept horns that curl forward into vicious points. Her legs seem to be disproportionately thick to her body, the muscles rippling underneath the fur. She has a set of wicked looking claws upon her limbs, jet black and currently retracted back from the ground. She looks at each of you with a pair of pupiless yellow eyes and nods at each of the introductions before saying simply in common It is a pleasure to meet you all. She has an odd way of speaking, as if the cadence is slightly off and she is currently translating each word mentally before speaking.

Timandra casts animal growth on Anemachius who is now a huge lion. Timandra mutters some words and touches her feline companion and the cat doubles in size. Attack the cyclops, Anemachius.

Anemachius charges and pounces upon the cyclops attempting to rend the creature limb from limb.
