Seems this Pazi made their living off a dying world, and either convinced themselves that it was meant to be; or this was a angry attempt to get back at society as they can no longer benefit from Lojak’s emminance destruction.”

”Something that large would be under tight security I assume, so the operation would have been well planned. This narrows down the list and manner of in which it could have been stolen. I have some training in securing locations. additionally, even if they had someone capable of carrying it for short bursts, they will have needed a craft to carry it long distances, which means we know the lanes in and out of the city they would have to use.” Vesk military lore: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

So I need to strike a Plasma penguin to get the point? Like with a weapon? Wonder how this works. CTU reaches out as he turns his car around and clotheslines the Penguin.
If that doesn't hit, CTU will try again, if it does, he will speed away (he Kick It!'d last round) Extra attack if needed: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

"I'm not terribly hungry right now, but I will indulge you. The Skittermanders have a food called 'six-arm surprise.' I think it is a casserole of whatever is left in the fridge, but it inevitably has the same consistency. It's often made on long-haul spaceflights to the vast, or on the return trip, using whatever ingredients haven't been used up on earlier parts of the journey."

CTU sits down. "I . . . uh . . . I'm from the Veskarium. We . . . did not have an amicable relationship. I'd rather not discuss it. But we did just return from a mission to an ice moon, where we made contact with a previously unknown sentient ancestry."

"Sir, we did figure out the confusion there. There was, or is, indeed a civilization on the planet. Evidently when they got Triune's signal, they were . . . reticent to put their bodies on the line for exploration. So they devised a . . . I don't know what to call it. An astral projection device. The specifics are . . . beyond me, but evidently something went wrong and it trapped the collective intelligence of the beings in some sort of interstellar void. Their bodies remained on the planet, but as, effectively, mindless animals. We reversed the damage of the mirror and their intelligence has been returned to them. At least that's what I got from the encounter, not sure I understood all of it."

Not going to hero point, everyone else is doing well, and I'd need a 15 or better on a D20 to succeed, so pretty unlikely. "My . . . creators did not get the signal, but others did, such as Blake and Leopold's people."

CTU sits down to get at the creature’s level. ”Yes, they are aware I was artificially constructed. The species that made me are. . . Is anyone trained in nature or life sciences lore? With no one else volunteering, CTU starts recording his observations, despite not being trained in such things. Small, marsupial-like creatures who are evidentially adapted to the cold. Have sentient-or near-sentient levels of intelligence. At least one had a headband that allowed emotional communication, which it offered to us as a group. They have displayed little to no aggressive signs so far.

"At the very least, it indicates that there are manufactured items on this planet. This band is clearly either machined here or brought here. Even if it is a simple metal band with no electronics and magically enchanted, it indicates someone is here. However, it could have been brought here, this creature may not be native to this planet. I agree we should be on alert, but keep our minds open to all possibilities.:
