hi all - I'm "back". work has closed down my access for sure, so it'll only be from home that I post. Son is doing as well as can be expected ....meaning he is back at school and has started medication. He walks with a cane, but is otherwise ok.

Hey all - a few things. 1. my place of work has blocked posting to this site. sigh. I can read, but not post. I need to get into a better habit at home of posting. 2. my son has some mysterious symptoms that include not having good balance...MRI scheduled for tonight... If I forget to post for a few days, I'm wrapped up with that. 3. Going to Gen Con (baring any issues from number 2) in late July...

Bryndyn looks to see if there is an easy way around the pit... If so, that is the direction he travels. If not, He shrugs and says "Climb in and out...or another way" he asks Elinor and the others.

Bryndyn pauses then lifts his head just a fraction. His nostrils flare once, twice and then he nods. "I can feel a steady current of air from the passage straight ahead. Perhaps a way out?" He ignores the goblin.

I think, at the moment, we are investigating by instinct. We were led here, it seems, and have fought hard to get this far. It may just be divine guidance that allowed us to find the man who needed to give his message to our friends. Does this place go deeper? If it does, let's get to it's roots Bryndyn says...and then realizes it's more than he's said in hours.

Bryndyn moves up to keep watch as Elinor moves to the man in the cell. As he moves, his eyes move to the fisherman, a whisp of what must be longing for the waters of home flashes on his face before he focuses on his surroundings again.

Bryndyn looks at Taedric. "I'm not cleaning the basin to drink, as I believe the source is probably pure. I'm cleaning it because it should be cleaned. Water is precious, and this fountain has no body caring for it."

Bryndyn looks at his friends, still amazed at the prowess and variety of things they can do. By rights, the group should be in worse shape than this. Looking off into the darkness, he says "Should we press on?"

Bryndyn feels the heat of the flame as it consumes the still fighting troll. Next to him, Abbas connects with a strong blow, but Narnel's arrow richocet's off a shoulder, it's fletching burning as it strikes the wall at the end of the hall. Swinging, Bryndyn hopes to take out the troll. Beign a creature more comfortable with water, he can empathsize with the way this troll was dying.... Attack 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 5 + 1 = 13
Unfortunately, his strike passes beneath an outstretched arm, disruping some flames but nothing else.

Brydyn doesn't percieve anything more than goblins. Abbas's attack misses, but Narnel's is deadly once again, taking one of the goblins by the throat. Bloody and deadly, the nearest goblins squeal as they are bathed in its ichor. Bryndyn steps up and attacks the nearest living goblin, leaving room for another at close range. Strangely, the right half of the hallway is open and more could curl around and attack. (leaving 4 total available to be hit via melee) Bryndyn's attack 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 4 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 18 includes magic weapon, bard song, bless. Damange since he easily hits 1d10 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 = 3 But his damage is terrible and he doesn't kill the goblin.

Abbas catches his goblin between the eyes and the golden tip disappears within while delivering a fatal blow. The goblin's eyes roll and turn white before it falls to the ground, leaving only six remaining. In the second rank, Bryndyn switches to a crossbow, and shoots. Attack 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 4 + 2 = 22 if hit 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 He hits another that is trying to avoid a dog, killing it with his crossbow bolt. Down to 5. Aidan is up. Then the goblins.

Initiative Order - Abbas, Seneca, Harlynn/dogs, Pluchak, Bryndyn, Aidan, goblins, Elinor, Narnel, Taedric Taedric attacks and skewers another goblin, killing it instantly. Then Abbas and Senica moves forward with Seneca and look to make an attack. Just beyond them, Harylynn suummons an acid splash and hits one of the gobins for minor, but annoying damage. It howls in anger. Pluchak bellows and strikes over the dogs, delivering a solid strike to one of the Gobins who was distracted by the summoned dogs. His weapon connects, crushing the goblin's skull and dropping it. Abbas - you can attack. Abbas, Elinor, Taedric and Pluchak are the only ones who have room to attack from the front rank. The dogs are mixed in with the goblins. 2 more Goblins have died, leaving 7. Seneca, Bryndyn and Aidan are the next rank. Narnel and Harlynn are at range.

Pluchak - Very important - did you, or did you not include the +2 for attack for this round only in your power attack calculation?? I'll post after I find out that answer

Anyone playing Pathfinder online? I Kickstarted 100 dollars and have tried out the early access and have been extremely unimpressed. Hard to move around, no clear path to move forward, open skills that don't seem to conflict at all. Maps that frankly stink. I consider myself a veterin of MMO's having played with EQ, EQ2, DAOC, WOW, Conan, Star Wars, Rifts, Guild Wars 2 and a few others... and this game really leaves a lot to be desired. I *get* that it is supposed to be different...but after 5 years of Dev, I expected a more polished product. 3 characters types with nearly the worst custimization I've seen in any MMO is bad enough, but the game plops you down with no feedback whatever. You have to click on EVERYONE to figure out who to talk to and you find that there are 40 or 50 folks who will trainin you in so many sundry things, you can't find the basic skills. Quest givers aren't clear and when they give you a quest, it's underwhelming in how it's done. Disappointed and feeling fleeced for my money at the moment. Can anyone talk me off my ledge??
