voc to brother vartas +++Brother this is Invictus, Faust and i are near where you first spotted the missile teams and the Leman Russ, i understand you are now in the facility, i think the best course of action will be a pincer attack you charge out of the base and attack from one side and Faust and I will catch them between us, should allow us to close the distance and make short work of them. what say you brother?+++
Turning to Brother Faust Invictus would have a gleam in his eye if he wasnt wearing his helmet "It seems Faust that our brothers currently occupy an underground bunker that they managed to sneak into, but the entrance is blocked by a pair of heavy weapon teams and a leman Russ, what do you say to a tad bit of combat?" Invictus is eager to once again meet the rebels in combat, and the thought of aiding in the take down of a proper piece of siege equipment has him overjoyed, Invivtus ensures his weapons are loaded and ready and takes his chainsword and bolter in hand and waits for a responce from faust
Incomming Vox from Invictus +++This is brother Invictus, The upgrade to faust is complete and he is succsesfully inserted into the Contemptor Dreadnaught Chassis, are there any big targets that need taking out? the suit lacks ranged weapons but the melee capabilitys should be excelent+++

Invictus asked faust, mostioning to the freight elivator opening a vox channel to the other team +++this is brother invictus, faust has successfully been outfitted in a Contemptor dreadnought chassis and is ready for combat, are there any big targets on the surface that need removing?+++

"I'll see what i can do brothers, the facility is badly damaged but Emperor willing i should be able to point you in the correct direction" Invictus access the console and while the systems are damaged with a little work and some luck he manages to find the information his brothers are looking for so he calls them over "Come look at the panel brothers, as you know we are here, according to these schematics the place you want to reach can be found taking this path, it seems fairly strait but there could be collapsed hallways or other roadblocks im unaware of, these are only blueprints i could not get a current status of the building due to damages"

opening a vox channel to his brothers +++Brothers my work here is complete I heard a short period of gun fire and an explosion, I take it our guests on the elevator were not friendly. with this task complete we should help finish off the assault on the surface and report back to the watch captain, the vigilant never rest brothers+++ turning to faust "how does the body feel brother, it looks at good order but i lack a full team to go over it in detail, do you notice any issues or shall we bring the emperors fury to the rebels that our brothers still hunt?"

Sry to hear that your not having fun here man, i certainly appriciate the effort youve put in. we can certainly start looking for someone to fill your shoes, id do it myself but i really dont have the time to prep and run a campain. im really glad you did what you could and we will certainly see what we can do. i know i havnt been playing with the group for that long but im glad i got a chance to join in at least ffor a little while :)
Knowing his brothers can hold off a few rebles Invicutes does not let worry enter his mind. But Invictus is well aware that even the best laid plans can go astray so he keeps his weapons close at hand.
Invictus taking notice of the backround sound does not interrupt his work but speaks to the 3 brothers near him "Faust while we do this work you will be out of commission temporarily my apologies brother but i will work quickly, I hear the elevator has once again activated and to my knowledge we are not expecting anyone else, Arkhos i leave the choice to you weather to help me here or investigate with your companion what may be coming down the elevator, Faust and i will be quite exposed should we be interrupted if it can be seen to that that does not happen all the better"
possibly stupid noob question: the gear we get from requisition, after the mission completes i assume we keep it right? i have played death watch a couple times before but it always ended after the first mission we did so i never knew. as far as i know we dont but im just checking
Invictus immediately begins preparing the tools for the task at hand speaking to his brothers as he does so "If either of you have skills in the technical fields i could use all the assistance you can provide, normally this task is attended by several servitors to happen in a short time, i clearly lack these resources so if you can follow my guidance step up and lets complete our task lest we be interupted"
the freight elevator creaks and wines a bit more than Invictus believes it should, the elevator likely doesn't see the weight of an ironclad dreadnought on a regular basis and needs some upkeep. His training with the mechanicum nags at him to look into the devices repair and ensure that it will work properly in the long run but he knows now is not the time, there is work to be done and he knows while Brother Vartas can handle the kill team above the more help that can be provided to wipe the rebel scum off this rock the better. the elevator reaches the floor of their destination and comes to a halt with what sounds like a little difficulty and the doors open. chainsword at the ready Invictus watches them slide up and out of the way and as he sees the armor of his brother marine he smiles and lowers his weapon. I will report in when the installation of Faust's sarcophagus is complete and get new orders at that time" Invictus takes a moment to double check his weapons are secure and loaded then turns to Faust. "Lets get moving brother, it will be good to see a contemptor once again take the field, most of these chassis see little use of late. unless you have any concerns let us make our way toward that elevator"
replying to Vartas inquiry Invictus relays the orders the watch captain gave him "I have been informed that there is a contemptor dreadnought chassis within the manufactorum. The watch captain believes the Chassis will be more useful to brother Faust than his current equipment. The maufactorum should have an automated machine spirit to facilitate the sarcophagus's removal and installation in the new chassis but due to the battles here i am to over see the process to ensure it completes successfully." "I can certainly handle the upgrade but I know not of the threats within the manufactorum, I understand there is a psyker on the loose and must be delt with but a brother at my side to protect Faust would be appreciated as to ensure the work is done and the sarcophagus is kept safe while moving between chassis" Invitus expects that his request for a single battle brother to help him complete his task should be easy to fulfill but admitting that one can use aid is not weakness, one must know their own limits.

My orders to upgrade Brother Faust seem superfluous at the moment but if we may open a vox channel with the ship we can acertain if I should still follow through with the proccess. what are my orders brother?+++ after voxing Vartus, Invictus turns to the dreadnought that joined him in the fray against the rebels "It was glorious to fight alongside a venerable brother such as yourself. thank you for the assistance in quashing these rebels"
Invictus moves to keep pace with with the dreadnoughts not wanting to block their line of fire as they have much heavier weapon than he does and will do more damage should they not need to care for their aim once in range. Invivtus reports their intent to the kill team leader over the vox "Brother Vartas, this is Invitus, the librarian Castil the dreadnoughts and I plan on assaulting the rebel forces to release some pressure on the kill team. we will make short work of them and then i shall turn my attention to bring Faust into the manufactorum for that upgrade, i will report any pertinent information as it arises"

I am brother Invictus, ive been assigned to your kill team to assist with retaiking the maufactorum and any other objectives that may arise in the mean time. I have also been ordered to pay specail attention to the upkeep and care for your dreadnoughts and ensure they remain operational." Invictus was quick to report as he approched his brothers with haste as per his orders from Vartas "I am under standing orders to escourt brother Faust to the manufactorum and provide a tactical upgrade which should benifit us in the following fights." Invictus continued quick to get his brothers abreast of the situation so they can proceed on the mission, idle hands will only lead to time for the rebels to cause more problems and they need no more of those if it can be helped. "What are the pressing kill targets , what orders youve been assigned and are either of the dreadnaughts in need of repair? i shall endevor to assist with these then carry on with with my orders from the watch captian and get Faust to the manufactorum" Invictus concludes his bit looking for a sit rep from his brothers to bring himself up to speed
Understood brother, What is the current status on our Dreadnought brothers? there have been no reports of major failures in their systems but is there any pressing damage that needs repair? I also have standing orders to escort brother Faust within the manufactorum for a an upgrade we have found to be stocked there which shall greatly aid us in this fight. Invictus responds as he immediately move to follow the orders of the brother in charge of the fight here on the surface directs, as the codex directs following orders on the battle field is paramount as if the brother in charge is to know how to play the game he needs to know where his pieces are.
well this post came later than i hoped, for the gear i would like ill be taking a flamer (if i remember correctly thos can be fired one handed i think but if not it will be a hand flamer) a chain sword an MIU implant an augar array implant a combi tool and a data slate loaded with the relivent scematics known about the area and the specs for any machines i would be taking care of on duty in case i need anymore info on them
