Brominate offers the cloak (of resistance) to Porablum or Easlis, if they don't want it, he'll take it. (Since Hjorleaf gets that +4 from the Black Rider cloak and Grim is a ranged fighter, I figure y'all don't need it as much.)

He examines and attempts to open the storage chest, then examines the paintings.

The rogue pulls out his potion of invisibility and downs it. Before the party's eyes, he disappears. He then quietly makes his way towards the human, avoiding contact with the icy demons.

If any of y'all can heal me a bit, I'd greatly appreciate it, but if not, there ain't no point delaying the inevitable. Let's push forward."

Brominate silently steps away and motions for everyone he can see (which appears to be Grim, Hjorleaf and 'Plum) to come over, gesturing that he hears someone on the other side of this door. Once Grim has a bolt aimed or Hjorleaf is in position with an ax raised and ready, He'll stand to the side, and fling the door open.

the new room you entered during the fight appears to be a pretty well-stocked library. the books cover a pretty wide range of topics which could be studied if you had the time. there are a number of books off of the shelves at different tables or desks. one pile of books appears to be focused on the history and nobility of Taldor. the other is a history of this region and a book that contains information about dragons.

on her body, the swordswoman has:

Brominate stirs, his eyes flutter, he bolts up into a sitting position yelling/singing "INTO THE UN....wha... oh. Hey Plum, I take it we won? Or, at least, didn't all die? Wait, are we dead?"

He pulls hair out from his chin, feels the sharpness of the momentary pain. "Alive, then. phew."

Standing, he holds his hand out to Plum, a seriousness in his face and tone,
"Thank you, friend, for saving meh life. Did we... did we lose anyone?"

They took that super medical tape and taped the sensors down. EKG told them almost immediately that there was no heart attack going on. I was still in that ER for nearly 15 hours . . ..

IV fluids. Roughly 2.4 liters of fluid pushed into my system. Breathing treatment. Seems when I arrived in the ER, my O2 saturation was around 82. They started to admit me in order to watch my O2 saturation levels, but after I sat in their ER for that long without any further dips, they accepted it might not still be required and discharged me instead of continuing to wait for a room. Having an asthmatic wife means we have a nebulizer at home, and that helped sell the release, too. Still spending more time asleep than awake, for now.

Missed a couple of Santa gigs the family had lined up. Went to a photoshoot with a family yesterday. I was there for about 10 minutes, just needing to sit and smile, but I stumbled into the house when I got home, completely exhausted. I'm supposed to go get caught in a neighbor's...

Rough stuff, man! Praying for continued healing! (And less stressful healing at that!)

Also, I've never heard of parents arranging for their kids to "catch" Santa, but it sounds awesome. Is that a common thing people do?

Brominate, thankful for Plum's more knowledgeable (and magical) assistance, turns his attention towards the newcomer. Unfortunately, this little hallway is getting crowded. Stepping over Easlis, he attempts to judo-roll his way into the room past this new woman, and strike her from behind.
