It's probably not possible to try and save the limbs of the goblin dog, but Brigid would at least investigate that as a possibility, and try to get it, the peons, and Ekkie safely away from the city so they can start up a 'better' goblin tribe, hopefully learning a little bit from this experience and maybe improving the goblins a little bit down the road. Countersong (Su): At 1st level, a bard learns to counter magic effects that depend on sound (but not spells that have verbal components). Each round of the countersong he makes a Perform (keyboard, percussion, wind, string, or sing) skill check. Any creature within 30 feet of the bard (including the bard himself) that is affected by a sonic or language-dependent magical attack may use the bard's Perform check result in place of its saving throw if, after the saving throw is rolled, the Perform check result proves to be higher. If a creature within range of the countersong is already under the effect of a noninstantaneous sonic or language-dependent magical attack, it gains another saving throw against the effect each round it hears the countersong, but it must use the bard's Perform skill check result for the save. Countersong does not work on effects that don't allow saves. Countersong relies on audible components. "Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

Masterwork dwarven waraxe +3 (1d10+2/×3)|Composite Shortbow +0 (1d6+2)|Bardic Performance 7/7(Lingering Performance) There are probably many tales behind the half-orc bard. The least of which probably starts with the dwarven war axe that she wears comfortably on her left hip, progressing to the durably well-crafted studded leather armor with a lot of runes embossed upon it (not magical to the senses), to the very prominent tattoo work of Torag's faithful up her arms and around her neck. The fact she has her hair done in a very tasteful braidwork that extends over her shoulders... well, it's almost like she's a dwarf wannabe... or... was she... raised by them??!! "Hueh. They had ye poke at a fortress too? Figyers. They send so many folk that way, ye'd think they made it a trainin' facility?" There's a bit of a pause. "An' then they had me an' some folk poke at some stuff over in the Rivers, it's been busy." Her Taldan ('Common') has that particular canter to it that clearly indicates she's been at least living with some dwarves for a while. "Brigid Thundertone. Or 'half-human', if'n ye wanna be crass. First *official* mission f'r the Society." "'s far as what t' expect? Anythin's possible." Day Job (In Advance)Perform: Sing: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 Guess folks don't like dwarven eddas around here.

Oh, well... um. Yes. Hello there! Going to shift to Bard, because it's better rounded.

Heard a little bit 'bout it in Absalom an' my family, but th' folks over by the River Kingdoms were kinda closed-mouthed about it, somethin' about not wantin' t' make waves or somethin'. I'd be interested in it, an' Torag knows if there's nasty stuff down there, it needs dealin' wit'. Where do I send my resume t'?" I work in retail, so my posting times are odd because my schedule can be odd, with some night shifts piled atop each other, then a random day off, then work during the day. Typically, I'm slow during the days. This'd be the first dungeon I'd be taking on from at L1-ish upward. Brigid has Adopted Weapons Training and the Adopted trait. Half-orc skald adopted by dwarves and a follower of Torag. As she's L1, still working on the skald part, but it looks like a better fit than bard. If there's questions, concerns, whatnot, please let me know! Also kind of important, is this going to be PFS-legal? |
