![]() And I stand by the message that you're referring to. At that time, they were charging for subscriptions for months after people were telling them to stop charging them. Taking people's money without their permission, for months after they told you to stop, is in fact criminal. ![]() I've also spent THOUSANDS of dollars on their products. They get hundreds from me every Gen Con, I spend most of Gen Con playing their games, I've spent tons on this site. I own every map they've ever printed, I own nearly every mini they've ever made, except the most recent ones, because I think their prices have gotten extremely ridiculous. So I'm sorry, but I think I've paid enough to have the right to complain from time to time, when I strongly disagree with something they are doing. I've also praised them for many things over the years. Although I'm overall a fan, I'm not one of the horde of mindless fanboys and girls, that just automatically love everything they do. Sorry for my entitlement, but when I invest as heavily in something as I have in Paizo, I'm going to let them know when I think they are in the wrong. And I'll compliment them when they do great.

![]() Hi! Every Christmas, I hang up my Paizo holiday cards that I have gotten over the years. Its bugs my wife, but I love them and the great atmosphere they bring.

Posting here for service doesn’t seem to be the best approach. Best of luck. Sadly, posting here is the "best" way of getting service. The c.s. phone lines are shut down. Customer service emails can take months to be answered. Posting here may take a week, or more lately weeks, but its still the fastest way. And posting here is actually the way customer service suggests that we submit our requests. Posting a c.s. request is a very strange way to handle c.s., I would much rather keep it private between c.s. and myself, but for some reason this is the way Paizo recommends to do it. ![]()

Which I'm probably going to have to do, as Paizo's c.s. is non existent. ![]()

I didn't know at the time that adding a comment made you lose your place but it has still been weeks. I don't owe you any explanation anyway. I understand I'm being excessively rude, but this is ridiculous. Its the maps that got charged for, so its the problem. My other subscription doesn't occur until around January, but at this rate I better cancel them to, as they probably won't get around to it by January. Also, mind your own business! ![]()

![]() This has moved beyond ridiculous, to completely criminal! Covid or no covid, there should be a way to cancel our subscriptions. You still manage to take our money and ship the products, so you should be able to easily cancel subscriptions. I posted WEEKS ago to cancel my subscriptions, as have MANY other customers, with ZERO response so far. Now today, weeks after requesting to cancel my subscriptions, I just got charged $65 for subscriptions that I don't even want. This has gone far beyond bad customer service and into criminal negligence/theft. I can't afford this $65 charge, it is literally taking money away from feeding my family. I think all of your customers who are being unlawfully charged need to get together and form a lawsuit. EVERY other company I've ever had a subscription with, has a way to manually cancel the subscription, but you give us no way to do so, then ignore us when we request cancellation. Criminals!!! ![]()

If one was a replacement, then you charged me for it twice. I was charged initially when you shipped the wrong item, then charged again when you sent the correct item. So not only did I pay for the same item twice, but I also paid for its shipping twice. ![]()
![]() Hello. When I initially began my P.F. battle map subscription, it was with the description of approximately one map per month, also much cheaper back then. As time has gone by it has become more likely to get around two maps per month. This month I have been charged for 3 maps, with little to no warning before charging and shipping. So that's going from what was once around $20 per month, to now over $70 per month. Will the high rate of shipping maps continue like this, or are you going to calm back down to closer to one map per month. If this high rate continues, there's just no way that I can afford over $70 per month, especially with very little to no warning. Please advise so that I can decide on whether to continue my subscription, or to cancel it. Thank you. ![]()
![]() Hello. I got an email for my case subscription, saying my total is $418 for 1 item.
Pathfinder Battles Subscriber Discount
But others are getting charged a total of $297, with their CASE AND SHIPPING costing far less.
Pathfinder Battles Subscriber Discount
So why am I being charged over $100 more than other customers!? ![]()

We both have the same subscription. Why is your total $297, and mine is $418, over a $100 difference!? ![]()

I think that (1 item) $359 is just for the case by itself. Doesn't look like incentives are included any longer, and the discount is not even close to as good as it was before. ![]()
![]() Just got the email for the subscription order today. I've had a case subscription since the beginning, but at this high price, this will definitely be my last case. After the craziness with the shipping charges on the last case, and now what appears to be a very steep price increase for the case alone, plus not even coming with the large case incentive discount, I think I'm about done giving Paizo my money. Subtotal (1 item) $358.18
After this case, never again. ![]()

![]() Does anyone know when City of Lost Omens is actually being released? I've heard June, but haven't seen any production images or advertising for it. With everything going on, money is a little tighter than normal. So I need to know if I can plan my savings to get it, or if I need to cancel my subscription for the first time. I'm afraid they are going to remain silent, and then charge me out of nowhere for this. Thanks. ![]()

I've recounted the event as accurately as I can recall. I hadn't even spoken any words when he began being rude, so I can't blame myself for accidentally offending him. It was Saturday evening, right after finishing my last Starfinder game that began at 2pm. I can't remember exactly the time it ended, I would guess around 5pm, maybe later. He was a young guy, guessing in his 20s, skinny, long fairly straight dark hair. I really wish I knew his name or even remembered his shirt color, but anytime I attempt to remember it, I'm not sure that I'm remembering the color accurately and would hate to accuse the wrong person by saying an inaccurate shirt color. If it had only been myself I might just think I must have personally annoyed or offended him in some way, but then others confirmed that he was mean for no reason, to them as well. I don't think he'll be able to singlehandedly damage Paizo's reputation, because anyone that has done business with them for any period of time knows that its customer service and treatment is unparalleled in its greatness. ![]()
![]() Also, thanks for your responses and advice. I'm not the kind of person who likes getting people in trouble, and definitely don't like jeopardizing a person's livelihood. Had this interaction been limited to only myself, I may have just sat on it, but it sounds like many others were bothered as well. On a side note, that skitter-goblin design was amazing and I now dream of a boon that would make it playable. :) ![]()
![]() I'm sorry, I didn't realize they were a volunteer and not official staff. That would make more sense, as volunteers are probably harder to screen and more prone to deviating from the typically great professionalism that I'm accustomed to by Paizo staff. I sadly can't remember the color of shirt they were wearing, any longer. To say which color it was was would just be an inaccurate guess. ![]()
![]() First let me say that normally Paizo staff members are amazing, patient, and polite people with second to none customer service. So this one rude person is an extreme oddity. But this rare exception was an extremely rude exception. I don't know his name, but he was a skinny guy with long dark hair that was working the game token prize booth. When I took my tokens from my various games up to the booth on Saturday evening, he asked "Starfinder or Pathfinder" in a slightly annoyed tone, but at this point, oh well no biggie, maybe he's had a long day? I was taking just a few seconds to decide, because normally I pick Pathfinder, but since I'm switching to second edition I was probably going to go with Starfinder this time. Apparently me taking literally just a few seconds to think was unacceptable to him, because he almost instantly barked, "STARFINDER OR PATHFINDER?!" in a angry tone of voice. I started to become confused and flustered by his surprisingly hostile attitude, so I looked to my left at the Pathfinder and Starfinder prize options. Well this really made him mad, to which he once more barked almost yelling, "NO! DON'T LOOK OVER THERE! LOOK OVER HERE!". At this point my mindset had switched to angry from being so disrespectfully talked (more like yelled) down to. I'm a combat veteran with some minor ptsd issues, and had to use my mental processing abilities to focus on staying calm and not doing something that would have ruined his day and gotten me in trouble. I should have just taken my tokens back, walked away, and come back later when he wasn't there, maybe I should have reported him at that time. But like I said, I was using all of my focus on staying calm and not letting him trigger a reaction from me. So against what I was originally thinking of going with Starfinder, I stupidly said "Pathfinder", at which point the other guy sitting next to him handed me some Pathfinder boons. I then walked away to work on calming down from this hostile interaction, of what should have been a pleasant and fun token reward experience. I later talked to other people I had come to Gen Con with, and some people I had played with and they said that they had similar experiences with him, all agreeing that he was an unnecessarily rude jerk. Had this been an interaction at some other business or event, it may not of been so upsetting, but I've become accustomed to outstanding and polite interactions from Paizo staff and its events, so this was very disheartening. I have spent thousands of dollars on Paizo products and events, and countless hours on them as well. I don't expect any special treatment for this, but I would expect fair and polite treatment, as I do from almost all other Paizo staff and events. This interaction really put a negative feeling on what had so far been a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend of gaming. I'm sorry if the guy was just having a bad day, but it doesn't excuse the way he treated myself and other Paizo fans and customers. ![]()
![]() I'd be surprised if they could manufacture for Paizo on a scale to meet demand. It seems like they are working off of smaller scale 3D printing capabilities. But hopefully they or someone gets with Paizo and makes some more skittermander and Starfinder minis, in a timely manner. I still wish they'd give the company at least temporary permission to manufacture the skittermanders, until Paizo can fill the demand for them. But what do I know? Everyone clearly finds me to be in the wrong and those supporting Paizo's actions to be in the right. So my opinion is singular and insignificant. ![]()
![]() Speaking of possible partnering with other manufacturers. I wish Paizo and Archknight would get together for official Starfinder transparent plastic pawns. I like Paizo's old school cardboard pawns for Pathfinder, but the transparent plastic ones that Archknight makes, would be more in theme with futuristic sci-fi. ![]()
![]() It's not just a matter of removing the link from this site, since then all of the skittermander minis have been completely removed from that site. Any reason I could think of would be pure speculation, but before the link was removed they had several skittermander options, and now right after Paizo removed the link, they no longer sell skittermander minis. So did Paizo threaten them, or tell them to stop selling them? That's more my complaint than just removing the link. ![]()
![]() Pathfinder directly took most of its creatures from the D&D monster manuals, in some cases slightly changing the names to avoid copywriting, even though it's still the same monster. Paizo could have extended the same courtesy to the manufacturer of the skittermander minis, and asked them to rename them something else (skattermander? skittermonsters? something else), instead of just blocking them from selling them. Seems hypocritical to me, but I'm sure everyone on this site will automatically defend Paizo. ![]()

Society games at Origins and Gen Con, I support Paizo in MANY ways, and after all of that, when all I wanted was to buy some minis to play one of your modules, you totally block me over some ridiculous "rights" issue, when you don't even offer the item that you blocked, or any kind of skittermander minis (cardboard pawns don't count). Very disappointed! ![]()
![]() Sara Marie wrote: Removed a post to determine the linked item's status with our licensing department. I would understand you removing it IF you actually offered skittermander minis, but since you don't (at least not yet), and your last few Pathfinder minis took forever to produce, you should allow players and creators the right to purchase and produce them until you do. That's pretty greedy of you. You guys make plenty of money off of us as is, and Pathfinder took most of its concept off of D&D in its creation. You should be supportive of your fans, not oppressive. Sara, you have been one of the greatest customer support agents ever over the years, but I highly disagree with this!
