MM was looking at a Goldscale paladin of Apsu and taking the Sacred Shield archtype. But if LG is TOO good then I could add the grey paladin so he's more LN
I'm thinking of a Fiendish Vessel Cleric normally its a Tiefling only Archetype but would it be ok if I took human so it would fit better in the setting
You can take that archetype as a human if you like, but tieflings are quite common in Cheliax compared to the rest of the world. If you'd rather be a tiefling, go for that.
Cool I should have him written up by the end of the day

I’m adding a bunch of new younger players to my table this coming month and I was wondering if there was a Core Rulebook slim for just PCs that I can suggest for them to buy. The current Core rulebook is just too big and covers rules that the PC don’t need to know and I was looking for options.
Hatred for the Technic lead will need a little more flushing out but I'll work further on it if he gets picked.
Otherwise if there are any questions please let me know.

Take this trait
Rough and Ready
Your intense familiarity with the tools of your trade allows you to use them in combat as if they were actual weapons and makes them more effective for that purpose than they would normally be.
Benefit: When you use a tool of your trade (requiring at least 1 rank in the appropriate Craft or Profession skill) as a weapon, you do not take the improvised weapon penalty and instead receive a +1 trait bonus on your attack. This trait is commonly used with shovels, picks, blacksmith hammers, and other sturdy tools — lutes and brooms make terribly fragile weapons.
The Wrench (which I'm assuming is adjustable) would be a two handed weapon that deals 1d8 damage x2 Crit. I'm gonna say it weighs 16 pounds. You could work twards the improvised weapon mastery feat, which will make it deal 2d6 with a 19-20 Crit. You would have to make it masterwork with the spell or build a new one in order to enchant it.
That will work Great :)
For my craft skill would Wood crafting work for ship building or would another sub type work better for this setting?

Question was thinking of making an Engineer type character. Would it be ok to take the Earth breaker martial weapon but Role-play it as a giant wrench that he carries around or should I use a different weapon or take some sort of Improvised weapon feat?
I just wish there was an easier way to print out the maps full size. Mostly cause of how beautiful they are, and the fact that some details on the map are important to see for my players.
Statboy Expressed interest
Threeshades Interest as Bitey bigjob, warrior/commoner to become feral gnasher
Thegreeteagamer Expressed interest, undecided on character
Uret Jet Interest, no idea what your character is going to be.
Sir Longears Ulk, commoner to be Alchemist, Winged marauder grenadier
Cartmanbeck Interest, no character yet
Azten Commoner to be Spellsniffer Spellsage wizard.
Brandon Dellmen Interest, Unchained barbarian.
voodooChili Thud Thud, Warrior to be Barbarian
Cuàn Interest, no character yet
Shub-Niggurath’s cousin Al Spooky Mags, Adept to be Necromancy Occultist
Goblin ghost stories are ridiculous, nice job.
If so many people are signing up, I may do a separate campaign with the same idea later.
Well crap sorry Threeshades didn't see that you were already making a Feral Gnasher mmm I'll keep my current submission but I'll look into submitting a different goblin.
mmm looking at the list we don't have enough Fire loving gobs.....
Yes, it'd be d3 if adjusted for size, but considering that baby goblins only get half the skill bonuses i thought it would be fair to shave off another die category.
That seems fair. Alright, d2.
Didn't see this when I posted. Will make the adjustment now.
Congrats on your funding I look forward to seeing the book in the future.
Sorry I missed out on your Kickstarter. My group loves your Pure Steam campain book and I'll be buying it once it's avalable for purchase.
Hello again I showed interest in your last thread and I’m glad you decided to run this AP.
Here is my submission for your campaign. He’s a dwarf Paladin and he will be taking the Stone lord Archetype. I was also thinking of taking the Multiclass variant from the Unchained book and taking fighter details below.
Thanks for taking the time to review if there are any question please send me a PM.
Variant Multiclassing:
Variant Multiclassing
Under the core rules, multiclassing can lead to a wide
disparity in character ability. With this system, each character
can choose a secondary class at 1st level that she trains in
throughout her career, without giving up levels in her primary
class. Once selected, this choice is permanent (though if using
the retraining rules from Ultimate Campaign, the secondary
class can be retrained by paying half the cost of retraining all
her class levels). A character who selects this option doesn’t
gain feats at 3rd, 7th, 11th, 15th, and 19th levels, but instead
gains class features from her secondary class as described on
Table 2–8: Multiclass Character Advancement. It is probably
a good idea to use either this variant system or normal
multiclassing, but it’s possible for the two systems to be used
together. In a game using both systems, a character can’t
take levels in the secondary class she gains from this variant.

CORE CLASSES
Fighter
A character who chooses fighter as his secondary class gains
the following secondary class features.
Bravery: At 3rd level, he gains the bravery class feature as
a fighter of his character level – 1.
Armor Training 1: At 7th level, he gains armor training 1.
Weapon Training 1: At 11th level, he gains weapon training 1.
Armor Training 2: At 15th level, he gains armor training 2.
Weapon Training 2: At 19th level, he gains weapon training 2.
Hmmm... Age of Worms it is! The campaign will be set in Greyhawk, with all the nostalgic retro-ness that implies.
Do you have a link to that player's guide, Slyness? I know that there isn't an official one apart from a loose collection of articles that were in Dragon Magazine back in the day.
I will be posting a list of the updated Greyhawk deities that takes into account new domains and weapons that would be better fits for them than the old ones. And for the love of Pelor, do NOT think that you will play a cultist of Tharizdun. That's like being a cultist of Rovagug in Golarion, it just doesn't work unless everyone else happen to be completely evil/insane/. I would prefer that people gravitate more towards the 'classic deities', such as Pelor, Wee Jas, St.Cuthbert, or even Vecna (Assuming the PC is subtle and hides his faith as a follower of the deity of secrets should) rather than the hero gods of the Flan.
A note to those who might be applying that have some knowledge of the AP: I am rearranging a few encounters, updating creatures, and making a few fights much more thematic and intense, so if you have some inside knowledge, don't complain when things are NOT what you know! It's bad form to metagame anyway.
I should have a link up by tonight, I believe.
Are you planning on making an actual recrutment thread? Or should we post our characters here after you post creation rules?
