We can have it so I don’t run. The issue for me is the rolling of dice. If we are NOT meant to die here, it’s a story scene, and we all barely scrape through, and a sailer gets torn apart. If we CAN die here (ignominiously and randomly), then it opens up that there are OTHER choices aside from the only one we’re being given to succeed. Otherwise it’s “roll dice to see if anyone dies randomly”. It’s a meta game story telling choice. I feel that by asking for die rolls, it opens up the other choices as viable. If not, honestly, I’d advice not asking for die rolls. ☺️

"Slow...easy guys! One at a time, fools, we'll go faster!"Blythe looks around at all of the people trying to jam through the crack, and as the dragon shakes another person like a rag doll, she curses. "They need more sodding time." Suddenly she bolts for the edge of the cliff, leaping off into the churning, turbulent waves, her hands still fully bound.

Blythe knocks the weapon out of the warriors hands, and he comes in with fists flying, biting and gnashing at her. She attempts to face check the chaotic assault with the butt of her hand, but it slips off his face, and she takes a flailing elbow to the side of her head, and falls into unconsciousness.
I didn't see that the acid splash actually hit W5 or not.
If Blythe gets an AoO against the unarmed W1, then this applies. Attack of opportunity W1:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 for 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 points of potential damage, missing.
The first warrior takes a swing at Blythe, triggering the casting of Duelist's parry and Blytheparry's W1:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10, hitting her for 6 damage. This drops Blythe to -2 HP.
The worst part is if I'd not cast Duelist's parry, my AC is 27...he'd miss both his attacks. C'est la vie.

Concentration check DC 16:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15. Blythe will take a -1 on her Disarm roll (bringing it to 18), to raise her Concentration check by 1 to 16, via her Spell combat class ability.

As the three warriors charge, Blythe ducks under the weapons swing from the last warrior of the group, as the other two warriors connect solidly with the new elf standing next to her. "No!" she yells, flicking her middle finger at the warrior who attacked her, sending a spittle of green sailing his direction, and lashing out to strike the first warrior in the wrist, attempting to knock his weapon free. "Get everyone out of the village now! Run!" she yells towards the tent where Cedric and the rest of the crew are.
Blythe uses Spell combat and attempts to Disarm W1 of his main weapon:1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 6 - 2 = 19, provoking an AoO, and casts Acid splash at W5 for 1d3 ⇒ 2 potential points of acid damage. She is has Duelist's parry ready to be cast when the next foe attacks her.

”What’s our priority, Ish?”Blythe intones rhetorically. ”They know we are here, so we need to get the crew somewhere else, safe. Anyone have any ideas to seal that cave entrance? Might slow them down if they try to come out.”

"I saw it. Both of them. A large white dragon. There was some ritual going on, in the cave."Blythe gestures to the cave entrance. "Let's get the rest of the crew gathered up. I'd like a head count of who all survived, and what we perhaps salvaged. Can you ask the villager if they have anything that came ashore? Wreckage, food, gear?"

Blythe was just considering Cyriphrain as a sailor or passenger, i.e. not part of the party, and was referring to him generally as a sailor, since she's not really been introduced, and was under duress at the moment.

Duly noted on the spoiler. I tend to like hiding ooc and dice, as it keeps the narrative up front, and the mechanics underneath, allowing players to focus on story and characters, not rules and rolls. But I'll keep them unspoilered from now on.

Swatting the villagers attack aside, Blythe looses a kick at the knee of her assailant, before stepping between Delmar and Cyriphrain, giving him a look. "We've got this, stay in the tent!"

Blythe straightens up quickly, dodging and knocking aside the attacks of the villagers deftly. She yells as she lashes a fierce kick at one of them, "Keep Cedric inside!" before jumping back, her attention fully on her attackers.
As a Swift Action Blythe activates her Arcane pool, granting her unarmed attacks a +1 to attack and damage for 10 rounds. She attacks Villager 3 with Punishing kick:1d20 + 7 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 1 - 2 = 8 for 1d6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 1 = 9 points of potential damage, intending to push him to U9. She points at two more, "Stay with Cedric, and keep close to us if it is safe. If you need to flee, stay with him. We'll do what we can to make a hole."

Blythe lurches up, pulling Delmar aside and lowering her voice. "I saw a dragon. In a cave, with the people who captured me. There seemed to be a ritual going on, of some sort. Possibly a caster."
Aubrey:
What would I know about the scene I saw? Who the people are, if dragons still exist, if they exist in this area, what type of ritual, what kind of magic, etc. I have no problem with you rolling those checks to speed up the process. I actually tend to dislike it when my players just "offer" rolls. "I roll knowledge history...what do I know." Well, they roll that because it is their only knowledge skill, or because it has the highest bonus. As a DM, with knowledge checks, I always do them for my players and just tell them what they know automatically. I'm fine with you just doing that for me, if you want, or I can roll checks you call for, as well. I figure anything to streamline and speed up the pbp I am for, lol.

Agreed on this time, I wasn't expecting to get away. I'll try to state when I plan on using them. The AC thing is pretty constant, as I almost always fight defensively. It goes away rather than being activated, but I still list my AC as 23 normally. But when fighting defensively it always starts at 27. I will try to announce the Immediate action ones. :)

Blythe groans, her hand moving to the back of her head instinctively. "Delmar? Cedric? Where are we?"
Okay, I am at 4 HP after healing my non-lethal damage. Also, with my character whenever she is attacked it may actually trigger my spells. I have Windy Escape and Duelist's Parry. Both are instantaneous effects, and are a little harder to game out in a pbp, as you normally adjudicate the action of enemies when they attack, and I dislike "ret-coning" your attacks with an "actually, I cast a spell. Ha!"
How would you like to handle it? Do you want to just adjudicate when they get triggered? Also, the Crane Wing feat works similarly...any time I am fighting defensively, my AC is 4 higher, until an attack misses by less than four, and then it is the normal 23, until the next round. These are ones I would normally handle at the table, but they are slightly more...unique, or odd...in a pbp.

I need to find a place to warm up. Do I see people in this village? There is smoke...is there a way to find a hut with a fire that is unoccupied? A fire outdoors, even? I've no idea if they are hostile, but my assumption is I'm in enemy territory.

As Blythe attempts to hustle above-decks, she smacks her head on some flying cargo, and gets turned around. The ship lurches, and she tumbles out of the interior of the ship, her feet flying over head, her sword gripped tightly, and into the freezing waters.
