I've always known it was neither near nor far that fate, as some call it, would intervene once again and turn the bloody tide of war in a new direction.

My involvement with the eternal struggle between good and evil, mortal and immortal alike, is long and broad, and riddled with the holes of misfortune, like a sword-hewn cloak about my shoulders. But still it hangs there, proud and resilient, even while stained with ichor. So too have I always known the ways of the war, for it in itself is a cruel allegory of the multiverse at large. Such a litany of chaos and violence can not be ignored, and indeed may serve to heighten one's own perceptions. However, if one is gazing into the Abyss, one should be expect the Abyss to gaze back.

And so it has come to be. The hour of the next act of this saga is nigh, however the director is absent and the actors unwitting. What will unfold from here is not only a matter of personae dramatis, but of the set and audience as well. When the curtain draws down, the roses thrown will have sharp thorns indeed, and the actors will not exchange bows but bloody kisses.

Welcome to Bloody Kisses, herein lies any questions, comments, or wherewithal you may have about the game. This is also where any Out Of Character discussion will take place.

I will be running the game, please direct any questions you have about the world, Blood War (OOG), or character build to me. I sincerely hope to build a fantastic game and look forward to getting to know all of you.

"Every mortal sin, from white lies to mass murder, creates a ripple heard throughout the multiverse, and answered by the Abyss. The weight of these sins yearns to be punished, and the justiciar and jailer to merit out castigation is Hell." ~a passage ensorcelled on the hide of a concordant killer from Black Scrolls of Tulket nor Ahm

"In the name of the hosts and the seven mounting steps of Heaven, from which springs the good and the right. In the name of the Orders, Powers, Thrones, and Choirs, who witness all above and below. In the name of the Lords of the Empyrean, who measure all knowledge and see through lies. And in the name of the first great Lord, he who was taken and whose people know sorrow for him still, I swear that what follows are the visions of my travels, the thoughts of souls and the soulless, the nature of creation, and the truth unto all things." ~Tabris, from the introduction to the Book of the Damned

"... and all this writhes below you, and around you, and your horror makes you part of it. Your putrid flesh corrupted, your ragged soul rent, and your disires bathed in evil and black blood. No, demonspawn, you are not forgotten. The terror of existence beyond death is your. Now writhe, and rise forth!" ~from the Demonomicon of Iggwilv

Bloody Kisses is a mature game set in the worlds of Greyhawk. The game is considered mature because the content of the game primarily revolves around the demonic, hellish, and angelic conflict of the eternal struggle between good and evil known as The Blood War.

It is recommended that if you wish to play this game, you are at least passively familiar with the Blood War. You need not know the name of every Demon Lord or Archdevil, but if you walk into this game blind, expect to be confused and admittedly left behind.

The everlasting battles of the Blood War have raged for eons, and do not show any signs of stopping. Mortal souls are the pawns utilized, abused, corrupted, redeemed, and most of all coveted by the backing powers of the War- good, evil, and all in between. This is where the players will come in. Mortal or semi-mortal adventurers cast into a planeswide strife beyond the scope of human(oid) mental capability..

What I am looking for in this game, is a unique approach to a decades old topic in the world of Dungeons & Dragons that has been for the majority played behind the scenes. Previous adventure paths like Savage Tide have addressed the Blood War, but as heroic protagonists. This game aims to make no such stipulations. The members of this game, will be chosen champions of Archdevils, Apocalyptic Horsemen, cryptic hag goddesses, and other nether powers that be.

An evil alignment is not required to join this game, but characters on the side of good will find themselves pitted against every obstacle, and possibly other members of the adventuring party. This is not to say that I expect every Chaotic Evil-aligned player to use their alignment as an excuse to attack every other player or cause havoc to the game. The heroes, antiheroes, and members of the party will have to find reasons to stick together, like insects caught in the web of a spider.

This may seem like a lot to ask of my players, but I am hoping that by holding them to a higher expectation, a unique darker game can be enjoyed by all parties involved.

To generate a character for this game, you must first roll 1d4+3 to determine your level. Mixed levels will add variety and open up new opportunities for races/classes. Unless otherwise noted, all races/classes/abilities follow the current rules of the Pathfinder system.

Any official class in any 3.5 Dungeons & Dragons product or Pathfinder product is viable for play. Only third party supplement classes will need to be reviewed (or discussed) before being accepted as playable.

All alignments are accepted, though Lawful Good is highly discouraged, as characters will often find themselves at odds with other players. It should be noted, however, that PvP is going to be allowed but not necessarily encouraged. If you are adamant about playing an aasimar, you would have heavy conflict working alongside devils and demons.

All base races are allowed, though more flavorful characters are certainly appreciated. Listed below will be the races immediately allowed for play. Following Pathfinder rules, CR = level if you choose to play a monstrous creature. For example, if you roll 1d4+3 and get a 5, you are able to play up to a CR 5 creature.

It would be to your advantage to devise a reason for your character to be included or interested in the affairs of the Blood War. If you wish to choose a patron or discuss your character's history, you may e-mail me at:

If you have ANY questions, please ask here or in the discussion thread for this campaign. I look forward to a wonderful game!

If for whatever reason, the creature you want to play isn't represented here (for example, any monsters in 3.5 Monster Manual I-V etc), a special case can be made if you contact me with substantial reason to include your desired race.
