Bharak had no idea what the creature said, but he knew that it was loud enough for others to hear. Without missing a beat, his blade came down again, and again, and again. He knew that these creatures would give no mercy, but by the same token, he was not prepared to offer it either.

With the door thrown open, Bharak immediately swung at the nearest sinspawn. It was far from a killing blow, but it was enough to draw blood. Or whatever it was within the creatures that passed for it.

"Right. Let's say hello." Bharak threw the door open, his blade in hand. He anticipated the 'whoosh' of Vhane's bolt flying past his head, trusting the other dwarf to aim true. He couldn't help but smile, looking forward to a brawl where his mind would not be tampered with.

”Right then, in we go.” Bharak said. He was tired of waiting and losing momentum. He had a blade and the enemy had a throat. It was time.

Bharak took a deep breath. "Right. Nasty fooker inside. I plan to cut it up right quick, but we should get ready first. Anyone have any blessings or spells they want to prepare first?"

The dwarf wiped his brow, removing perspiration that had formed when dealing with the trapped door. It was only part of the way through that the full implications of the trap had become apparent, and by then it was too late to back out. By fate or fortune, they had gotten through unscathed though.

"The portal seems to be operational. Let's finish exploring everything inside of here first, aye?"

Silently Bharak entered the room. With the step and eye of a professional, he moved about, searching for anything of danger. Be it a hidden wire, a stone out of place, or the tell-tale hum of magical energy imperfectly hidden. He fully trusted his companions to figure out the what the architecture and decor meant. He was focused on his job. Ensuring their safety and getting the door safely open.

Bharak led the group away from the jars of the souls and to the north. It felt like they had been in the room long enough to see the year come to an end! It was time to move on.

”Aye. I’ll slash them up regardless of what they can do, cause it’s what I do. But it does sound like we should move on for now. Avoid the hags while we can, while keeping an eye out for any sign of them. And it sounds like me scouting ahead is even more dangerous now, as I’m not equipped to see invisible enemies.” He said, moving away from the jars. If the others were ready day to move on, so was he.

Once back with his companions, he said "A death threat, but one of the friendliest I've had. The short of it, is that the nasty looking creature there said that it is leaving in a day, and said that if I don't leave there'll be a fight. So...let's move on. Plenty to do here without taking it up on its offer, aye?"

"Right. Wish me luck then." Bharak said, as he took a deep breath and loosened his shoulders. "If they attack me, then kill them all. Otherwise, let's at least try and talk to these. They might be enslaved, for all we know."

As a stout dwarf, Bharak was rarely laid low by such mundane concerns as disease. Unlike fragile humans...which was relevant here, as otherwise the group might have been held up.

Feeling better now, thanks to everyone for waiting. Also while Bharak has the scouting skills, everyone can choose our direction. I merely choose it when no-one else has, to keep things moving.

"She makes a good plan. We've a duty to finish what we started. And we can hit the forge next." The exile gave a wry smile, even when shamed, his heart was still of the mountains. "I'm looking forward to seeing what excuse this place has for a forge."

The world, Bharak reflected, was a dangerous place. He had spent many a month wandering the wilderness alone, surviving alone. Coming close to dying, alone. With the creature bearing down on him, he could not help but remember some of those close calls. The chances of this being his final fight would have been high, if it were not for his comrades. Silviana's blessings had stood between him and a horrific death from being drawn into the maw of the monster they fought. For her blessings, he gave thanks. And he did so by thrusting his own blade down its gullet.

It was odd, as it felt like the group had been away for many days. Perhaps it was a lingering effect of the divine conflict that happened. Regardless, things could be worse. They could have been like the priest Kafog. Who, if one thought about it, might have enjoyed his final moments? One could never tell with those mad enough to worship the God of Pain.

Just quoted the item. Asked how much the iron costs and it gave me the above.

As for the other part…

True Resurrection is a 9th level spell with 25k spell component. According to this a 9th level scroll is just 3825. So 28,825 is the value of the resurrection.

Getting the gold is thus much more valuable. Unless you need a resurrection right now, in which case supply and demand make the resurrection worth it.

I think a lot also depends on the buyer. An alchemists guild might pay how much we can earn just so they can study it and try and recreate it.

The issue is that it takes 10 ranks in craft alchemy to use. I...could see us trying to sell it instead, if nobody wants to get the ranks. Or buy all of that ore. If that is the case, we could try selling it for something like 70k, so we each get a solid split of 14k each?
