I am drawing a blank here. But Bazzle is going to put out a false name here maybe a neighborhood that our HQ or the coffeehouse is not. Perhaps the alley off the drug den where we found the gnome alchemist. But basically I want to give have the guards we left alive hear that we are headed somewhere we are not. Preferably a location of mutual enemies. I realize I can't be super specific unless there is a name to a site. But I want to throw them way off.

That makes sense. I was thinking it was a shortspear which I thought could be used one handed.

At the end of the day it has been handy to have just not the ideal for Bazzle. That sounds like either Bazzle needs to just go dagger dagger or full crack at least in this fight. Given that you have suggested the lightening is hurting the creature lets assume that Bazzle is using the crack exclusively.

I am still not really understanding the Crack of Lightening. If there is a penalty for using ranged when I am within melee range I just did that. Because as far as I can tell that's how I get the actual lightening property. Once we have down time I probably just need to sell it and find an alternative weapon that I can finesse and use reliably.

I am using it here because I have one magic dagger and the crack is my only other magic thing. Bazzle is just assuming I need all kinds of magic to hit that thing. I got lucky either because I hit hard or Kyton's are vulnerable to lightening (I don't know).

My mini is on top for ease of use but Bazzle is Under the table. Is the table if angled correctly able to fit one corner by the pillar of the alcove the iron maiden is in and the door handle of the door opposite it? Next question. Do I have to throw Crack to use the lightening or can it be done at point blank range. Perhaps with a UMD if yes is not an easy answer.

Would the Kyton be considered flat footed? It hasn't acted but I gave her a warning.

Bazzle moves from out behind Aster and launches a blast from the Crack of Lightening. He stops looks at his dagger and all of the other daggers sticking from the creature . . . he shrugs and hopes the magic gets through sending the dagger toward the Kyton as well.

Bazzle who seemed to be appearing from no where practically moves down the wall in front of Aster to where he is low enough to reach the doorknob and pushes it open as he quickly pulls his arm up and returns to his spot high on the wall and moves into the room with as stealthily as he can.

With new foes entering the room Bazzle looks back toward he bedroom. "Behind us has one choke point this room has two."

Looking around not pleased with the fight. Bazzle throws his dagger at the new knights coming into the room. Followed by the Crack of lightening as well.

Would I be able slink along the wall by the door and reach a dagger out and hamstring the guy?

Flat against the wall inside the room Bazzle hooks a dagger behind the prison guard cutting at the back of the man's legs hoping for vital arteries and hampered movement.
