I'm happy for Barek to become a background character. Hopefully things will settle down, the last few months have been a real strain.

I really hope so. A couple of the games I've left were pretty much dead anyway, but I've had to drop out of several that were fun and ongoing.

I'm pretty much down to just the games I run and a couple I"m still playing in, for now. :(

I'm going to have to apologize. I put in a post withdrawing from the game several weeks ago and it obviously got eaten. I certainly didn't mean to look as if I'd ghosted on you.

2019 has hit me hard and I don't have the spare time I had so I'm dropping most of the games I"m playing to concentrate on those I'm running first.

Barek has nothing that can fix it.

Barek slumps to the ground with a groan. "Five minutes with the bastard who set that!" He mutters, "Five minutes when I can lift my bloody arms that is."

Barek looks dubious, but supplies a drop of blood from himself and Mong, soothing the confused dog after extracting the drop.

He also calls on the bound between himself and his dog to gain Darkvision for some minutes.

Barek activates his bond with Mong, gaining Darkvision for a minute and readying his arrows.

Barek continued firing at the Werewolf, but winced as Eluvias got mauled again.

If the Werewolf goes down Barek will instead move up and cast CMW on Eluvias.

"Shape shifter of some kind, or most likely a Werewolf." Barek sighs. "Can't be anything easy can it?"

"Likely someone new to town as well, since we haven't had anyone killed and half eaten before."

Someone with more diplomacy than Barek should check if we have any recent arrivals in town. Silver weapons should be bought as well.

He straightens up and calls Mong to him. "I'll go check the kill sites."

He ask to be taken to where the victims were found.

Worthless spawn of an infernal anus!" Barek curses angrily as Eluvias falls. Shooting again, hoping to end the thing in time to heal the Elf.

Drawing his dagger Barek starts cutting the ropes on Eluvias as quickly, but safely as possible.

Barek curses as Eluvis is captured, blood running from him. Stepping up behind the Elf Barek casts a healing spell on him.

Trying to avoid any AOO's while doing this.

Barek was unsure of this Kingdom business, he'd joined up to make some gold and see the world prior to settling down somewhere he could stand. But the people around here needed someone in charge, someone who was more concerned with peace and building rather than someone like the selfish, greedy nobles back in Brevoy.

'If you're going to moan about the nobles then you better be ready to step up and do something yourself!' He finally decides ruefully.

"Hold up!" He calls softly to the others when he spots the hidden entrance under the tree. "Looks like somethings lairing there?"
