"You don't have to tell me twice!" Barak tosses up anyone who needs help clambering in the wagon, and then gets in himself.

Barak takes a guarded step to where he can reach both the necromancer and the skeletal champion with a loud crunch. He swipes at the Necromancer with the first blow, and then sweeps into the skeletal champion. "Bee, if you want to, you can take a guarded step into flank!"

Barak delays for his buddy Macondi.

"Yikes!" Barak is a little frightened of the creepy necromancer!

"Are you sure you want to take on the necromancer by yourself? Because right now, I'd love to deal with him as well."

"We'll be slower than the zombies if we are carrying statues of that size. Do we really need it?"

"Yes, let's go, Bro. I'll lead the way?" Flickmace in hand, Barak walks up the stairs.

With his only basic First Aid training, Barak isn't great at being a forensic scientist, but he's perfectly willing to try. He kneels down and examines the body with great care, checking to see what he can find. Once he's examined the full crime scene and sketched some of the details, he takes a moment to move the broken desk out of the way.

"Someone should search this too."

Barak cautiously approaches the couch. "Hey... Are you a weeping ghost, or a living person in trouble?"

Barak will look at each door, open it, and look around.

If we meet someone who talks at us rather than fights, Barak will use Diplomacy.

Otherwise, Barak will cast shield spell and bash things with his flickmace.

Barak looks over the next door before cautiously opening it with one hand. In the other hand, he has his flick mace ready.

"Iomedae? Which of our missing persons worships Iomedae?" Barak peruses the list. "Hey gang, am I missing something here?"

Barak nods as Macondi tries to coax the horse in. "Who's a pretty horse?"

I am not trying for the 20 that it would take to aid Macondi. I don't want to risk a bad roll tanking his chances. I sure wish Aiding was easier in PF2.

Good catch. I had those two confused.

"Naw, just this! I found it in the guard's building!"

"Bee, do you want this cold iron buckler?" Barak asks. "I find I fight best with a free hand."

Barak searches the Guardhouse. "Hello? If there are undead in here, I'll punch you in the face." He searches through to see if he can find anything.

"I've had a chance to study First Aid since our last mission. I'll examine the body." Barak kneels down, and sees if there are any clues to ancestry that he can gain from the charred corpse. "There were four small folk on that mission, right? One of them was Gibb Potsmasher who was raised by the Church of Sarenrae. If you think that Ankh is a melted Sarenrae symbol, Macondi, this is likely her."

GM, can finding and calming the horse be one of those checks? Heather might have a chance at it.

Guiltily, Barak remembers his Shield cantrip. He flickers it in and out of existence. "You're not the only one who needs to remember to use something, bro."

"To the church, then. Heather, can you capture that horse?" Barak asks. "I don't have your skill with animals."

That Nature skill of yours should come in handy!

I think they were PF1 scenarios.

They may not be repeatable but I'm sure there are people who have not done them.

Barak flattens the last red zombie. ♫ If I had a hammer, I'd hammer in the morning. I'd hammer in evening, all over this land... ♫

"Ha!" Barak watches the horse crumble with deep satisfaction. "Macondi, I love it when you're badass!"

Barak stands straight and for a minute, you can see a trace of his grandfather Ifekube in him. He holds his draconic tail high and roars, "You think to steal health from a dragon?"

Wind blowing through his hair, flickmace covered in gore, soaking in the healing magic that his best friend poured over the battlefield, Barak feels powerful and strong. This is where he was meant to be.

"Yes, perfect timing Bro!"

I'm about to bot Quenadilla, as it is has been almost 24 hours.

"Good Kitty!" Barak calls to Scout.

Then Barak considers, his draconic tail curving upward. "Bee, your hit was very effective. Keep doing that!"

"Thanks for the healing, bro!" Barak hits the horse once...

Did the creature's AC go up with challenge points? Our group is low tier. (And I remember they had abysmal ACs when I ran this several years ago.)

Barak attempts to hit with the Yellow Zombie with his flickmace, and then follows up with a dagger, slashing at its face.

He asks Bee, "Can you finish the zombie off? I'm going to meet this horse a step in front of the rest of you."

Barak cautiously steps forward, staying close enough to be in range of Macondi's spells. He looks the zombie horse in its glassy dead eyes. "Come at me, horse-face!"

Though fatigued, Barak can surely knock out underbrush with the best of them.

Barak feels his stomach clench as he sees the sea of undead and whispers, "No good at all." and joins his bro hustling.

"Here, let me help you, Aztryx," Barak says, but pushing the wizard up the hill is hard, and Barak manages to pull a muscle while doing it.

"From the stories of the region, I'm guessing all of them," Barak says.

Barak picks up a scroll of Heal from his Venture Captain and hands it to Macondi. "Use this when there's lots of undead around." Barak turns to the Venture Captain. "Do you have a list of the missing Pathfinder Agents?"

I am thinking of you using scrolls of Heal as a three-action debuff against all the undead in a room. I then work on killing the rest the normal way.

Man, I normally like picking up that scroll of Magic Weapon, but I think I'm better off picking up a scroll of Heal and handing it off to Macondi so he can be a total badass. What do you think, Bro?

Barak playfully wrestles with Scout, allowing the cat to pin him a couple times before wrestling the kitty back. "Yeah, Scout, Heather, Macondi and I all were on a mission together and liked it so much that we signed up to go out together again." Barak looks around. "Aztryx was supposed to join us too, but I haven't seen him yet. Maybe he's delayed?"

Barak simply runs up to Scout and says, "Who's a good boy?" as he ruffles the cat's ears. Then he talks seriously to Scout. "Qen's a friend, not food. Got it?"

Then Barak turns to Qen. "So... how far is far? Macondi and I are from Cloudspire in the Mwangi Expanse, but that's not as far as Tian Xia or Arcadia."

Another gnome, this one sky blue with a draconic tail, follows directly on Macondi's heels. His midnight blue hair blows softly in the wind, despite there being no open window nearby. "I don't usually think of toxins, except when there is a poisonous monster trying to kill us," Barak says cheerfully. "Nice to meet you, Qen. Um, what the heck is Thasteron, and why would I want to use it?"

Barak grins. "By the way, I'm Barak. I hit things, though Macondi has also been trying to teach me spells." Barak waves his hand, and a shield floats in the air in front of him for a few seconds. "Yeah, that's about as far as I've gotten," Barak says sheepishly.

Can we deactivate this campaign?

Okay, Barak has updated his profile. Alas, he did not get enough money last adventure to be able to afford the rune of 'hit better'. Oh well, there is always next adventure!

I wound up going with the Intimidating Glare because my Intimidate is so much better than my medicine. But yes, we have a great table and we're adding Lady Ladile and another new person whom I've never played with to our mix.

Intimidating Glare or Battle Medicine for my skill feat? Both are insanely useful. Hmmph. Battle Medicine might be better for staying alive. Thoughts?

Barak Blue is here! As I have 3 Glyphs, Ladile has 3 Glyphs, and Uncle Froggy has 3 Glyphs, everyone gets 2 Hero Points to start.

We have a serious level imbalance in this party. Lady Ladile and Macondi are level 1. I'm level 2. Uncle Froggy and CMlobue are playing Level 4s. Depending on what character Xyntryx brings, we could very well be kicked into the higher tier of play. Uncle Froggy and CMlobue, what mentor boons have you got for your characters?
