Go for it, take everything you can off their hands.
If you can grab a few of the lesser known campaign settings as well, bonus.
I wouldn't might working with you on making a revision for to 3rd ed for making a more refined and smoother version based on it.
Have a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, everyone.
"Nah, da ain't it. Jus hav ta hope he learns it once it on his fing-a"
considering the site was down for about a week, I think when they get to the forum, it'll be down for a lot longer....
Ayla helps in looking around
perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Alya adds to Lia's words
"I's can imagine da would be a interest in it,
as it would tak a burd en off folks."
Ayla towers over who is to her a newcomer with her 6 foot 9 height.
"Nice ta metcha, Usgar.
Da names Ayla."

Take it, and sell it.
Now if that Half-plate was Mithral Breast plate,
Ayla would of jumped on it.
Ayla looks at the stuff and comments "Nah much I's can Sees me usin, As I's like lighter armars"
If they need a new system they might need to migrate the whole Database, which likely is quite large at this point. Which could result in data loss or even a nuking of a number of currently active games and or even character data.
And if they decide to do a complete overhaul, they really should have an experienced expert who knows what they are doing, not a cheap coder thinks they can write masterful works of code by using some sh*tty programming languages that do most of the lifting without understanding what is really going on.
We also might lose one of the board's oldest easter eggs, the Sm**f avatars.
Old Code can be very rock solid, but trying to "Fix" or "Improve" old code can make it brittle and flaky instead.
I mean Look at some of the game engines from the 90's they are Rock solid and still run perfectly even on newer hardware.
HP: 1d8 ⇒ 2
do I take the 2 or do I take half the hit die?
Also is it just me, or do the boards seem slower and more buggy since the weekend?
Ayla aims to finish it off.
Atk: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Damage: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (3, 1) + 4 = 8
Ayla swings her fullblade at one of it's claws
Atk: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Damage: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (1, 2) + 4 = 7
Ayla swings her fullblade
Atk: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Damage: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (4, 6) + 4 = 14
Ayla charges the crab.
Atk: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 2 = 14
Damage: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (6, 5) + 4 = 15
Ayla readies her Fullblade for some action.
"Das good, wee don need to fight them. It coulda gon-d bad if things south."
"I's just hope dey ain't carrin' a disease that can make one really sick...."
"This place does feel of death, but I know a few other places that feel like death, but only slightly cherrier."
perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Ayla is too distracted by the creepiness of the scene before her
"Dis place is a bit creepy."
Leaving the sleepy Emerald Claws behind....
stealth: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
"I'm curious where the map leads us...."
perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Ayla is focused on an odd rock, that looks like two fighters fighting.
It might be a statue, but she is focused on figuring out if it is a statue or is it a rock that looks like a statue...
Ayla helps in continuing in the dig, though asks "So about how long should we keep digging here, before we switch digging sites?"
Lia eberron wrote: Karsh'e wrote: "I got a rock." HAHHAHAHAHAHAH! ^ recalling the What's New with Phil & Dixie comic with the "I got a rock" Line after everyone else got a ton of the good sh*t.
If we goin dat route,
Ayla finds, a set of +5 Mithral Breastplate that fits her that also has Energy Resistance, Improved for both fire and cold,
and a +3 Keen Flaming Burst Adamantine Fullblade
Ayla thinks it through some 500 gold pieces, tat's a lot, though ther-a, are 6 off us, and I's don't know how many pieces that works out ta each.
She also decide to keep quiet in case she says something that could make trouble, as her tongue has sparked fights before.
Ayla moves forward one hand ready on her Fullblade.
perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
"About hows many do yous think there are comin."
But-a d'oh's big booms will attracta mor of'em.
An by mor I mean many mor d'en you has bombs.
"Da place still givs ma the creeps.
Mat be best to check things be fora we move about or ba extra cautious as we's move."
Ayla nods at Fizfiz
"If's they want ma coin, I's give 'em a good fight."
"I's just hop they ain't gonna's be trouble for us."
Ayla helps and hops into the cart with what room is left as she hops in.
Ayla quickly comments remembering what she's seen and heard of hobgob mob bosses and those in their debt.
"I's thinks it best we's quickly gets their coin.
As I's don't think they's likely want ta be paid soon."
"Dat-s a lot, mor tha-n I's seen.
Doh, I's got's to ask who's collecting da debt?
As its bet-a to know who's it is da Failin owes."
Imagining a Mobster like name, like Two-Ton Tong
A partial reference to the Terror of the Tongs movie
"an da worse ones, take-ya outback an break ya legs before da bonk."
Ayla cautiously ask
"I's gots to ask, ba how much does yous owe deem?"
I though of something and am gonna reference an old movie.
But Ayla and Fizfiz could become a version of Master Blaster
Fizfiz acts as the cannon of a mobile artillery battery, while Ayla is the mobility party of this mobile artillery battery.
Ayla is also the brawn handling the things that are next to her and Fizfiz.
"Oh shite, Ya, don need ta prove it, especially here-a."
At the mention of her above average height Ayla has an expression of "I'm glad I'm tall, but I also don't like it"
She replies to Lia
"I's hope wes all can-d work together well."
Looking at the drunken Goblin
Yous, hav to be awake, to use d-ose.
An I's not sur if even yous gonna be fine aft-a bein in the center of it.
