I would like to offer Avogadro for consideration. As the caravan draws up in the small town, Avogadro's head snaps up from the daze the monotony of travel always brings. "A town... a town means people!" He rolls clumsily out of the caravan and somehow manages to find his feet. Unfolding is perhaps a better word than standing. Anyone that cares to observe as he stretches out his spindly limbs cannot help but think of spiders legs. He fastidiously removes every speck of dust from his impeccable top hat, draws out a tatty looking silk rose, and delicately places the hat upon his head. "Prepare one and all for marvels a plenty! The babies will quieten, the old-folk will gasp, your Flabbers will no doubt end up Ghasted! Come one, come all! Let all hear the news, Avogadro is in town and he is Astounding!" He approaches a woman who scurries past with a basket of torn bedding, (Kitani) trying to avoid his attentions. "For you my dear, a flower" he hesitates "but not red for one so fair." he delicately passes his hand over the flower and it subtly changes shape, becoming more delicate and elegant, the colour fades to perfectly match the woman's eyes. "There, a true beauty." he lays the flower in her basket and steps back with a warm smile. Alias should be complete, I just need to double check equipment. There' more background info there too. I've never played this module but I love low level content that lends itself more to roleplay.
I cannot help but throw my hat in here. "Avogadro the Astounding. Conjuror of tricks, cheap or extravagant. Master of awe and the sublime. At the service of you and yours. Assuming our departure will be imminent and with the upmost haste? Avogadro has need to be elsewhere..." Avogadro is probably my favourite character idea I've made but every game he's been in has been very short lived. He recently very nearly made it to Belhaim on a wagon... and then the game folded! @GM. I am playing Sokkla in your Shattered Star game. If you want to disqualify me here because I got into that game then I completely understand. But I had to try, Avogadro needs to meet a Dragon!

With each pass the feather changes colour; first red, then blue, yellow, green, purple. Before finally returning to its original white. "No, it is quite boring, you may have it for your form user book." He takes the proffered stiring rod in the same fashion, between finger and thumb, beginning to stir an imaginary beaker midair. "Hmm, it is very nice, a wonderful piece, I'm sure I could, but then again... no... No Mr Harfoot, its no good, I cannot recreate this. If only you had packed a spare. But what's this?!" bending low, almost like a bow, Avogadro draws a glass rod, as if from up Tarrow's nose. "You had a spare all along good sir. Right under your nose"! Seven is an excellent number for an epic adventure! Sins, Samurai, Virtues, Wonders, Seas, Heavens... The list goes on. This may be brought up be Avogadro in the near future. --------------------------------------------------------------------- As the cargo is being loaded onto the caravan, a long spindly man in a tatty suit and a smart hat blusters up to Silas. He carries an equally tatty rucksack that has obviously been packed in a hurry, shirt cuffs poke out where it has been barely closed. The handkerchief he pulls out to mop his beaded brow turns out to be one of a long chain, multicoloured all, the man doesn't appear to notice. "Good evening... morning... day to you. This machination is yours? Is headed for pastures new no?" he continues without waiting for any response "I have a splendid opportunity for you and all who sail... wheel with you. I, Avogadro the Astounding, shall travel with you. I am in need for the green grass of the other side and I believe you are the lawnsman for me. I shall sweeten the deal even further and add some coin to the coffer..." --------------------------------------------------------------------- Avogadro will have spent the journey having overly verbose conversations with all of you, he is a talkative soul but is a good listener too. He has unique peculiarities in his behaviour, he is overly civilised, genteel, and careful in his motions. The most important thing to realise about Avogadro is that he absolutely thrives on social interaction, isolation would be an unbearable torture for him. He can come across as arrogant at first but this is just his manner, he is actually quite a vulnerable soul as things stand. Think Willy-wonka mixed with Skellig. Magic is an ever present constant around Avogadro. He is constantly prestidigitating small gifts and nik-naks. Floating lights, like fire flies, flit after him at night. It is not entirely clear if his lack of 'concious' magic is all part of his act or if he really is unaware that he is the source of all the unnatural things that happen around him. Oh and his figment familiar is a white raven (possibly a seagull...) they don't get on. I need to pick language for the raven, something Avogadro doesn't speak but someone else does.
I would like to offer Avogadro for consideration. As the caravan draws up in the small town Avogadro's head snaps up from the daze that the monotony of travel always brings. "A town... a town means people!" He rolls clumsily out of the caravan and somehow manages to find his feet. Avogadro ineffectually brushes down his suit, adjusts his perfect hat... just so... grabs his bag of fun, and with a heel skip heads to the town tavern. Whistling a little ditty. Backstory::
Avogadro speaks little of his childhood and it is clear to all that whatever his identity was before, “Avogardo the Astounding” is what and who he is now; he has assumed the character wholly. Avogadro lives to bring joy to all people, especially children, and makes a meagre living as an entertainer in town squares across the land, what he lacks in skill he endeavours to make up for with sheer enthusiasm. Recently though things have begun to change.
Avogadro is not sure he likes this at all! Appearance:: Avogadro is outlandishly tall and slender, the word long is most applicable. His movements often bring to mind a spider or cranefly, he seems to fold rather than sit. Yet he is nimble for all this, and in particular his hand are expertly dexterous. He is never seen out of costume, the tall top hat and formal suit found only at the extremes of society, noble gentlemen or bad street performers. Avogadro’s suit has seen better days and was obviously made for a considerably shorter man. The hat however, is immaculate, for:
I'm in! Avogadro would be my pitch. He was originally made for a Dragon's Demand game that went south. He's been adapted since so I need to pull him into line with your criteria. He remains my most beloved character, despite the fact I haven't really ever been able to play as him. Long story short: yes!

He is a Kellish soldier operating as a vanguard to an advanced force (maybe take leadership later) investigating a military threat. He would be a man of few words but not surly, he is a very strong team player that I think would fit well with this group. I thing trapfinder would fit on him in his capacity as scout so that would open up options for others. Let me know what you think? Matt

In all seriousness I'm aware that the way I'm playing Avogadro could put noses out of joint. If anyone is having less of a good time because of me/Avogadro then please speak up and I will of course reign it in!

These companions of mine are not to be trifled with" In the Hut Avogadro walks through the hut like a man in a minefield, careful not to touch anything. Fairness?! Ugh they're those type of people... all that gold! Way more than the poxy mushroom is worth! And the skin! Exasperated, Avogadro ducks out of the cottage and cusses as he bangs his head on the lintel knocking his hat off in flutter of white feathers. He waits for the others outside. "Beards are optional in humans my dwarven explorer. Many consider them to be a sign of unhealth, sloth or indeed mental unbalance itself. But I can tell you that on the contrary a face of hair, coiffured to its finest state is an emblem of vitality, vivality, and greatness itself." Avogadro runs his fingers throuogh his own beard as he finishes, as if the matter was settled.

I have a fine raven I can offer you, broken though it is, or perhaps flowers?" Avogadro lifts his hat and draws a disheveled bouquet from beneath it "M'lady, I am The Astounding Avogadro and we are here for pickled roots, rat's tails to be at my upmostly specific. We are happy to make fair exchange, tit for tat, this for the tail of a rat. But please do play nice. These men can be terribly efficient in their own peculiar collection of skills, why my green fingered friend here just skinned a pair of dragons."
