It's a good point, but when I acted, someone was up there with me. Also, I couldn't have raised shield, moved in and out and attacked on my turn like I said I did and then moved back. But I'm at full HP and even if I go down, I have all my hero points. It's a good idea though. If I survive until next turn I'll do it.

@GM, nothing against you of course! I'm of the opinion that a crit success and a crit failure should always be possible without rolling a nat 20. That's just my own personal motto though. Having it so even the best will saves in the game have less-than-even chances of success is . . . stupid IMHO.

Could we tie a rope around one person, and ready an action. Then albrect could step in, attempt the check, and be pulled out by the other guy?
