She looks over the rice candies. "Ah, thank you. Sugar triggers a pleasing dopamine response." She picks one at random and pops it in her mouth. Suddenly she looks quite startled and the circuit lines one her face glow for a moment. She looks at the label. "Ah... this 'Wasabi' is very... strong. Not what I expected."

She shakes her head.

"I do have several questions."

You can practically hear the bullet points as Argon-42 speaks.

  • "One: Do you wish this creature captured alive?"
  • "Two: Do you have any data on the creature and will you share it?"
  • "Three: Why not simply download the album when it arrives in the infosphere?"

It's nothing personal, but it seems clear that real life things are getting in the way for you. I suspect that you didn't realize how much they would impact the game. It is easy to underestimate that kind of thing, and on the chance that you might still be underestimating how much time you need, I think it would be better to let Hmm take over and finish the game. But if you want to make a post for the closing scene at the end I think it is nice that Hmm has suggested that.

A ton of rolls have already been made for the junkrace (we did 5 rounds at once), but the results have not been tallied for those rolls.

I agree. We should get the racer up to having five weapons, so everyone gets to do something during the race. Even if you shoot at +0 there is still a decent chance of scoring a hit.

Once we have done that, a bunch of our rolls should go into improving the accuracy of the weapons. If we have five weapons each +1 counts five times.

We should also try to get the speed of the racer to 50 or more. Preferably 60.

Keep in mind that if you are improving the racer you can socialize with one enemy racer for free as a part of that (instead of investigating the enemy). And your computers skill is half decent. You need to roll a natural 12 to make an improvement so I'd rather you did that and then socialize with the racers one at a time. If by our fourth action we still need to know things about them then maybe spend a turn socializing with all of them.
