A thought seems to occur to him, and he adds, thoughtfully: "The prostitutes you had chained up.... Are they really chained, or was that just pretense and have they done a runner along with the clientele? This place might be able to continue.... under the patronage of glorious House Vegaran, that is." The Abjurer issues an ugly laugh.
