22 on DEX plus a size bonus. Okay if I get a chance to play an alt Kobold in the future, I'm doing it. Nimble little cracked draconic guy.

The GM lets you go up to 20, assuming the build rules are exactly the same as his previous campaign.


Yeah, any version of Ananet is built to primarily be a healbot. A gunchemist focus would make her more of a hard-hitter in terms of combat, since her ordnance number and damage would shoot up. She could possibly cover trap disabling with a few feats and some INT allocation as well, but that's not what she's built around.


I could easily lean more into Alchemy than Divine Magic if needed by switching some stats around, for the record. Figured I'd say since there's other Clerics. Sadly Mystic Theurge doesn't work with Alchemists.

Same with this character. +DEX -WIS Cleric, her original version had a 14 Wisdom. I'd have loved that +3 DEX though...


Yeah, I'm glad to see so many people with the Old Gods here. Best chance to do so in an official AP too, by a long shot.

Ananet is not originally from Wati, her ancestors fled from Osirion when the old gods' worship was being cracked down upon. Once she heard of news of Wati being the seat of a revival of the Old Gods, she would have tried to make it there from Alkenstar City as fast as humanoidly possible.

And yeah, I'd be more than happy to link with any other Old Gods worshipper, and/or that person thinking of making a Dune/Spellscar drifter.

I provide decent aim, healin', and epidemic prevention services usin' a combination of alchemical and divine sources. The sly enchantress ain't just a god of pleasure; she's a god of secrets as well, and I'll happily use any of 'em to heal y'all."

Ananet adjusts her pistol and vials with a smile. "My family always kept to their worship of the old gods, and worshippin' Thoth over deadbeat Nethys has always served 'em well back home -- magic bein' finnicky and all. Their relics, their history, is why I'm here. Moved here to connect with any potential remainin' worshippers of the Old Gods here, and once I heard the lottery was up? Relics of Old Gods to find?? Boy howdy, count me in!"

She then adjusts her clothing, which is a mix of modern Osirani fashions and semi-mass produced Alkenstari items. "Now, I know there's some... reputation surroundin' the Old Gods, and Bastet in particular. But, especially durin' the investigation of a tomb, I primarily keep to the Enchantress's portfolio over secrets and healin'. You don't need to worry about me usin' any enchantin', magical or otherwise, to get my way with y'all."

Likely not going to do romance even if that might be in Bastet's portfolio, she's rather focused on the secrets and healing aspect. Figured I'd add an RP sample here as well.

And in terms of role, healer. Obviously.

Absolutely. I plan on having the Ancient Osirion pantheon being far more fleshed out in this playthrough and will be looking into already established work or doing it myself. If anyone has suggestions I will consider them, maybe make a Google Doc/Spreadsheet for future usage.

I've had this campaign axed twice in quick succession due to flaky GMs, so hopefully I get good enough rolls for the character I've already made! Violant's submission here, not updated for your character-building yet, but I also play Iosif in your other campaign. I'd have come up with a non-gun character but... well, this was a character I already had for this campaign, lol.

So, I got no qualms about pilferin' some artifacts of some long dead guys!" Ananet gulps as she heads forward with the rest of the group, "let's jus', hope this next one hadn't turned into a shadow like the last one. That's probably gonna weigh on my conscience for... a long time."

Ananet is clearly uncomfortable at the thought that the soul whose grave goods they were taking hadn't yet been judged, as that was the whole reason the tombs were opened in the first place! Her family had adhered to tradition even as times changed and magic died, she wasn't about to stop now.

Here's to hopin' yer god treats ya the same way the Sly Enchantress has treated me, even if I ain't her typical divine spellcaster."

Seeing the utter size of the creature, Ananet makes a snide comment as she unloads the pre-loaded alchemical cartridge into the creature, "Well, 'least I can't miss this thing!" "Bottoms up!", she says as she downs the hastily made healing extract in one single swallowing motion. "Mmm... always liked the taste of healin' extracts, dunno why."

I have a Wis 7 character I'm trying to get into a campaign, and that's without any racial downside. She's going to be fun to RP. On one hand, I have bluff and deception through the roof thanks to the archetype, on the other she can be puppeted by enchantment magic fairly easily. I'll try to get a response up sometime today.

Ananet eyes her Dexterity mutagen, before ultimately deciding to hold off until the first sign of danger to imbibe it. She continues to look in the well for anything worthwhile.

Seeing Idari cast light, she decides to tap her holy symbol and does the same, mouthing a quick prayer to Bastet as the holy symbol glows like a torch.

Noticing Nasir wince, Ananet speaks up as she helps to search the dug hole with Sahba. "Normally I'm a better shot than whatever that was, Nasir. Sorry I didn't warn you how loud firearms can be... you get used to the sound of 'em growin' up in Smokeside." Ananet takes a moment to breathe, as the memories of her childhood in the poor, magic-dead quarter of the City of Smog are a tad mixed.

For the second time so far, Idari's predictions have fallen flat on their face in regards to pistol misfires. She shoots a side eye at the fellow Amurrun, wordlessly conveying the emotions she wants to screech out loud. With a surge of grit and adrenaline, she clears her gun as quick as she possibly can. Quick Reload, spend a grit point to make it a move action.
