Amukk takes out two potions of tongues and hands one to Kerastes. This should make it easier to talk to them. Remember how much trouble we had last time... Can give it to Lyslesa or someone else if preferred.

They are intractable foes of our organization, the Pathfinder Society. Your companions in the pyramid are now free from the Aspis yoke; we would do the same for you, if you'll allow it.

Amukk moves up trying to get alongside Lyselsa, but she gently waves him back, so he takes up a spot about ten feet behind her and lets her go to work. His crossbow is loaded and ready.

It would be at best intermittent.

October 15-19 will certainly be better than the rest (the vacation is in conjunction with a work conference for my lovely bride, and I'll be largely free during the day those days), but the rest is a legit family vacation and I'd like to be "there" most of the time.

If you're cool with me remaining aboard, I'll put together a botting guideline and welcome anyone to do it. (And I am not the sort of player who's going to be up in arms if something disastrous happens to my PC.)

Amukk prophesied this coming, but is powerless to do anything about it! Still, while his legs stubbornly refuse to move, he manages to get his sluggish arm muscles to react enough to cast a spell.

Can't manipulate the map right now, but I looks like I should be able to get Aspis guy along with Red and Green in a glitterdust. DC 16 Will save.

Amukk is surprised by Kerastes saying hello to water, but following his line of sight he sees the eyes. He opts not to appear aggressive by training his crossbow, but does take careful note of the layout of the chamber. No other exits to be seen, he thinks to himself.

When Amukk can move again, he is aghast at his inaction. I let you all down! I apologize, everyone, for my paralysis. I shall try not to allow such a tragedy to happen again.

He looks over Arnold, tsk-tsking repeatedly. Nasty. It's a curse, mummy rot is; and the curse must be broken before the disease can be addressed. I have something that may help. The ganzi rummages about in his haversack for a bit before extracting a scroll. Ah! Here we are!

CL 11 break enchantment scroll. Need a DC 12 CL check to activate it.

I'm good, thanks, the Ganzi responds, holding out his own wand. This doesn't fix the numbness those leeches gave us, but the wounds closed up, at least.

Amukk then follows Arnold to investigate the bas-reliefs. Dog Pharaoh, or Jackal Pharaoh...and the Illuminated Pharaoh. Hmm, this one — indicating the east passage — certainly looks like a jackal, while the other appears more like a traditional Osiriani pharaoh.

Out of the pit and reasonably intact, though the ability damage sucks (I'll take the damage over Kerastes' drain, though!), Amukk makes his way over to the doors and studies the hieroglyphs. Math was never my strong suit...

Amukk, finally able to do something that's not at a glacial pace, shakes his head. I knew it, I knew it, but no one ever listens to me...

Amukk activates the wand, casting bless, then moves aside for Arnold, taking pains to keep himself between the beasties and Narika. He drops the wand at his feet, which allows him to use both hands with his loaded crossbow again.

Amukk is the last through, and falls through the air into the swamp water, still loudly giving complaints: ...old you I'm not quite yet ready! I need to see a man about a horse! it's Fireday and I always wash my archaeopteryx that day! I have a hall pass from Ambrus Valsin! AAAAHH! *sploosh*

The swamp water cascades all over the unfortunate Izlin, who happens to be closest.

Amukk lies in the water for a moment, quite possibly for dramatic effect, then jumps to his feet. Well! he exclaims cheerily. That didn't hurt at all!

A wild-haired ganzi steps into the room, with something of a dark cloud over his head...well, it's not really visible, actually, just a feeling.

Greetings! he says, his voice a bit high-pitched and rushed. I am Amukk! As he makes this pronouncement, an odd avian creature soars clumsily over and lands, knocking the ganzi's head slightly to one side as it lands, and hunkers down in the humanoid's spiked hair, vanishing from view. The ganzi pretends not to notice and grabs a seat a little too close to Kerastes for the oread's comfort.
