Ami contemplates rushing through and attacking, but not knowing the state of her compaions in the vile fog she elects to hold back

Drag Tyler back a step out of the fog, if I can do the same for Ulf as my other action (with a 5' step) will do so.

Used to love doing stuff like that as a teenager, hardly ever do it any more. Though in our real life group they've come around to just leaving puzzles to me (which amuses me as I have the least level of education on paper).

Substitution cyphers are usually a case of how long it takes, rather than being difficult, you just keep trying stuff that looks reasonable until it starts to make sense.

Cool, is that going to be something wierd that's going to slowly change me over time? Or should I unlevel and go nanite-bloodline sorcerer now just to play on it? Hmmm...

Levelled up and added xbow and swarm.

Also I sheepishly realise that I was supposed to have sneak attack and managed to completely forget about it for the entire duration of last level.

Was there a discussion as to wanting more healing in the group?

I could multiclass into either Bard (probably a less lore/perform orientated version such as Arcane Duelist or maybe Juggler) or Oracle (of shadow probably, maybe Legalistic curse?) My Intelligence or Wisdom aren't exactly shining so I think those are my options for healer-caster.

Ami uses sword or crossbow generally, but she's middle-of-the-road enough that we may be better giving the better melee to primary melee and better ranged to primary ranged - she'll just fill the gap where required.

Ami completes her motions and shakes her head. "I feel fine, I'll let you know if I start feeling ill, promise." she gives her best attempt at a brief smile. In an attempt to stop her companions worrying about her, she heads over to the shelf and examines the helm more closely.
Anything stand out about it, can she see through the goggles without actually putting it on and if so do things look different? Does it seem like its supposed to seal, like some sort of diving helm?

After trying in vain to retch up the bugs, Ami stands, wobbling a little. "I feel fine, uncomfortable and disgusted, but I don't seem... impaired." Ami begins to run through a familiar routine to warm up for combat training from her youth, in part to see if any part of her feels 'off' and in part to calm her nerves with familiar motions.

Ami tries retreating back out of the room and suggesting others do the same, she's not familiar with creatures of animate rock, but can't imagine they are easy to break.
"If it just wants to guard the room, we can leave it for the Dwarves, maybe they know how to command it or deactivate it."

Ranger gets some cures at 4th, Alchemist has some sort of healing, though is that only for themselves, I haven't get my head around that class yet...

If you think we're desperate and we don't want to go through re-recruitment I can multi-class to Oracle (10 Wis would be a lousy Cleric). I don't have a particular progression in mind at the moment, was considering dipping some sorcerer, but have decided against it thus far.

I assume area C (and maybe D?) is more or less secured by the Dwarves?

I'd likely think that going to level 4, maybe starting with 31, 34 and 35, then working around anti-clockwise?

Or there are Orcs, presumably around Area L on Level 1?

Amelleanne almost unconsciously makes a warding gesture at the mention of undead, she's no superstitious peasant, but necromancy is beyond unnatural.

"Neither of those threats so close to our borders bode well for us. It would be in all our interests to quieten them. And should we find anything of Dwarven make we will of course return it to you. We are not here for thievery."
