Changed my size to large since I'm in a large sized legchair. I'm always on the legchair unless I have a reason to be off of it.

Try again, maybe, you'll disable it. Unless you just crit failed. Check other players profiles, maybe somebody else bought thieves tools you can borrow. Also, maybe the DM will say you did buy them and let you subtract the gold from your inventory and add thieves tools to your inventory, cause a Rogue thief, now come on, would not forget to buy something like that.
