Female Changeling Rogue 1/Sorcerer 1
Alarra leaves the sanctuary in the morning. "Jo, I need to go visit some folks by myself. I'll meet you back here in a few hours, all right?" After making sure Jo will not follow her, her first priority is to go visit her uncle... after attempting to lose any other tails she might have picked up. Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24 Nonchalantly weaving through crowds, markets and the occasional back alley, she makes her way to her uncle's house.

Yes, I'm still here. Sorry I haven't been posting much - I've been sick and it's been busy. "I can ask around. No promises, though. And don't worry, I have no problem keeping him from the hellknights." She looks around, slightly sheepishly, before saying, "What? I know a few people." Sense Motive DC 12 (14 if attracted to her): Bluff: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
You think she knows a lot more about the Dottari than she's letting on.

"You heard about the zombies?" Alarra asks, taking a seat at the table. "I was scouting ahead of the main group and rounded a corner. Right ahead of me were three corpses. Moving corpses. Ashamed as I am to admit it, I panicked a little and ran back to the rest of the group. The zombies followed me, and we fought them. The fight started out at range - you know, thrown daggers, crossbows - we weren't doing much damage to them. Then they reached us. Franco and one zombie traded blows for a bit, while Jo smashed one pretty thoroughly. I snuck around behind the one that hurt Franco and tore out its heart. Jo got the last one." She looks around for a moment, before saying "Err, sorry if that isn't the best dinner table conversation. I don't know what came over me..."

Yeah, the overlap between Moondark and Alarra is a big part of my reasoning here. Alarra already has the charisma to be a decent sorceress, so assuming no wrath of DM descends she'll probably stick with sorcerer levels from here on out (unless some juicy prestige class catches my eye, but that stuff is way down the road).
Female Changeling Rogue 1/Sorcerer 1
Sorry for the delayed posting - things have been hectic. I've been thinking about this a lot, and I think it makes sense for Alarra to start advancing as a sorceress rather than as a rogue. Characterwise, she is a changeling (and would have the accursed bloodline from her hag lineage), and I would like to play up that fact in this game. I realize that this is a big change from my initial desired role in the party, so let me know if this isn't okay, in which case I'll keep her a rogue (probably with the minor magic talent).

Well, could be worse, I guess. At 5/8 HP. Cursing under her breath, Alarra tries to dodge around it (not going through its square this time) once more. Acrobatics 1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 She will then try to tumble away from it again, in preparation for attacking it from range next turn. Acrobatics 2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

"Blech, I hate doing that," Alarra says, strolling back to retrieve her crossbow. "Granted, ripping out hearts is never fun, but did that one really have to be rotten?" Sense Motive DC 20 (22 if you're attracted to her): Bluff: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Alarra is just joking. You don't think she has ever actually ripped out anyone's heart.
Female Changeling Rogue 1/Sorcerer 1
Now that she is in position behind the zombie, Allara rips at it with her clawed hands (slashing damage). Attack 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
EDIT: This onslaught is directed against the zombie she and Franco are flanking.
Female Changeling Rogue 1/Sorcerer 1
From the distance, you hear Alarra scream "Ohshitohshitohshitohshitohshitohshitohshitohshitohshitohshit!" and the splashing of water as she runs back to the group. "Corpses and... and... freaky things!" She gasps when she rejoins the others, "Dead ahead!" Yeah, no training in knowledge: religion (probably the appropriate skill)...
Female Changeling Rogue 1/Sorcerer 1
"That's my cue, I guess," Alarra whispers. "I'll sneak ahead and see what's up. If you hear me shout 'oh crap,' or any variation on that theme, come running." With that, Alarra sneaks off into the darkness, crossbow at the ready. Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Do I find anything?
Female Changeling Rogue 1/Sorcerer 1
Visibly disturbed by the miniature blender that erupted in her face a moment ago, Alarra stammers, "y-yes, I think that might b-be wise." She takes a moment to regain her composure, before saying "Thank you for chasing him off, Jo. It looks like we need to head left." She points to the somewhat-defaced chalk drawing.
Female Changeling Rogue 1/Sorcerer 1
"Crossroads ahead - no marker in sight," Alarra whispers. "I'm going to scout ahead. Wait here." With that, Alarra sneaks ahead to examine the intersection and its surrounds with her darkvision. Hopefully, she can spot the next marker before the hellknights catch up. Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Female Changeling Rogue 1/Sorcerer 1
"Sounds like our cue to move, everyone. We'll have to assume that Janiven and Morosino can find an alternate route. Let's go!" With that, she will once more take point as the group (presumably) moves forward, following the indicators. Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Wow, ninja posting!
Female Changeling Rogue 1/Sorcerer 1
Alarra will hide in the shadows at the ambush site with her crossbow drawn and loaded, hoping to snipe the first of the hellknight trainees as they run after Moondark and Ithad. She will wait until they are within 30 feet before firing. Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Female Changeling Rogue 1/Sorcerer 1
Alarra sneaks back to the party, and says, quietly, "There are three hellknight trainees ahead. I don't think they spotted me or know of our presence, but it would be difficult to sneak past them. Can any of you knock them out without harming them? I would rather not kill anyone, hellknight or no."
Female Changeling Rogue 1/Sorcerer 1
Seeing Ithad begin to move ahead of the party, Alarra whispers "Let me go. I can see in the dark better than you can. Jo, wait here with the rest. I'll be back shortly." With that, Alarra sneaks ahead to the intersection and attempts to scout out the competition, taking pains to remain in the darkness where she (hopefully) has a vision advantage over the opposition. She will then attempt to sneak back to the party to report her findings to them. Stealth out to the intersection: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
As a heads up, I will be out of town for the next week or thereabouts. I will post when I can, but internet access may be spotty at points.
