The same for me as well: please put me inactive.

Ah okay. Well usually when someone leaves they take their character with them. Either the gm writes the character out of the story or they just kill the character off.

But I'm okay with you using him as a npc.

Still not sure about having this in here. I think somehow the plot of this has somehow derailed. So unfortunately I'm pulling out. I've enjoyed it but I just feel that we might have too many cooks in the kitchen so that's why I'm leaving. I'm also taking Adriel as well. I apologize about this y'all but I'm afraid that I don't have anything to contribute to this plot and I don't want to ruin it by messing anything up.

I wish everyone good luck and loads of fun!

Party:

Adriel sighed and shook his head. "That probably wouldn't be wise. Besides, we don't want to this to turn into a deity fight fest now do we? I am the Guide of Heroes of course, so we should allow mortals to fix their problems. Besides, if we gods are always interfering, why mortals would never be able to take care of themselves. And between you and me, I do love a good adventure story."

As if on cue, the vulpinal agathion bard began to sing a ballad of a heroic dark elf who threw off the shackles of his wicked society and found acceptance on the surface world after many grand adventures, while also foiling the plans and schemes of evil. Lolth turned red, but Adriel's herald and celestial escorts got in between the bard and the Spider Queen.

Adriel nodded and the bard switched to a tale of a young heroine who saved an entire world and even changed an empire.

Adriel then turned back to his host, "Again, let us give the mortals a chance. Besides, while they have messed up before and probably will always mess up, they pick themselves right back up and set things right. And to answer your question, the neighboring kingdoms and nations will ensure a smooth regime change, and the nobles of the kingdom are fed up with their mad king, so the nobles will make sure a new, and wiser king takes the throne. And don't worry, I'm sure the heroes of this adventure will make sure nothing goes wrong as well."

When the party was over, Adriel thanked Zodaxus for the invitation and after receiving his 'presents' (he actually liked the toy knight), he gave his esteemed host a gift as thank you: a jeweled sword once held by a freedom fighter who died defending his people, but who bravely kept fighting even after receiving numerous and fatal wounds, that when he finally fell, his enemies rushed to him and caught his body before it could touch the ground. So amazed and in awe of his bravery, that his enemies held their heads in shame and peace between two nations was finally created.

Somewhere amongst the stars:

Mystra stood waiting holding a scroll. She didn't have to wait long as her friend soon appeared.

"I see you arrived. I was starting to worry,"[b] the goddess of magic said as she handed the scroll to the Angelic Paladin.

[b]"Thank you Mystra," Adriel said as he took the scroll and placed it in a magical satchel. "I hope you're not having any second thoughts about this."

She raised an eyebrow at this before replying, "About helping mortal heroes stop the Temple of Elemental Evil? No. About creating a backup plan to foil future plans of the Princes of Elemental Evil? Maybe. You realize that there will be some deities who will not approve or even be happy about this plan to create good counterparts to the Princes of Elemental Evil, especially since the Prince of Evil Ice and Cold has no good counterpart."

"Indeed. The fact that no such Prince of Good Ice and Cold has never arisen has puzzled, worried, and infuriated me for many ages. I think it is time to...fill in that vacancy."

"That I agree with you on, but the fact that you're not focusing on the--"

"That jungle temple is kept in check by the surrounding wildlife and other servants of evil. It is both surprising and comforting to know that the followers of evil are sometimes their own worst enemies."

Despite being interrupted, Mystra smiled and nodded. "I know, and I'm not saying that just because of personal experience," she said with a chuckle.

Now it was Adriel's turn to raise an eyebrow, tapping his fingers on his holy vorpal longsword's hilt. He knew that Mystra was once a mortal woman before she rose to godhood. Still, she was willing to aid him in opposing the Temple of Elemental Evil. He also knew that she was also willing to give mortals a chance to stop evil themselves. He waved his hand, causing a ripple to appear before calming down to show a window to the Material Plane: "The lord of the Grand Duchy of Euravinia, the Grand Duke and, I, his nephew, the high governor of the city of Marchdaletor, are concerned about the increased attacks of late by bandits and brigands. I can ensure you, Mr. Sardor, that I have already begun an investigation of these attacks," a man wearing noble clothing said.

"Indeed," a man wearing the clothes of a wealthy merchant replied before adding,Still, you don't think...it's that awful Temple of Elemental Evil do you?"

"I hope not. But then again...it's possible that they have returned after almost five hundred years."

Waving his hand, the image disappeared and the patch of the astral plane returned to normal. "As you can see, it is as I feared," Adriel said.

Nodding, Mystra only replied, "Then, let's hope that a band of adventurers is able to stop them."

The two deities quickly departed.

And in a fantasy world, Monte Python is a classic comedy beloved by all!

Would have posted a bit more this week but I was working on my garage repainting it and today was my mom's birthday. However I'll try and post more often that is if my blasted iPhone will stop autocorrect everything!

I'll post something Wednesday as I have to find some info on the good elemental princes so y'all can get a good idea on what they are.

Adriel thought for a moment...

"the usual medieval technology. The king's army actually don't like him but they're too afraid of his special enforcers, who...." he lowers his voice some, I believe are servants of Bane, our common foe. So it is no doubt the blackguard has a hand in this. Luckily, a band of adventurers have taken upon themselves to liberate the kingdom. Now, I know that in a neighboring nation there's a small temple dedicated to you. The local lord's son is a warpriest among your faithful so it might be beneficial if you were to send him a vision that he needs to find these adventurers and aid them. In doing so the local lord upon learning of what is going on he will inform his fellows of the neighboring mad king. Can I count on you to do this?"

So it's like Greek worship on steroids?

....okay. Moving along now!

Anyhow are we doing the fiends and celestials from D&D or. Patfinder? Because now in D&D succubi and incubi can be found in hell and abyss.

Sorry to see you go. Take care and I wish you good luck in your future adventures!

The only problem is that the temple of elemental evil according to my research actually sets up base near trade routes to attack traders and caravans as well as setting up a base in forgotten ruins. and they aren't above to building bases right underneath a town or city!

One thing that bothers me is what the original gm is going to say when he reads all this?

Probably wonders if we are actually the paizo staff in disguise. :3

And excellent ideas Atheos.

Oh?

I would like to add a medieval continent similar to most fantasy games along with another continent that is undergoing a hundred year war similar to our own but with a technology that is a combination of medieval fantasy forgotten realms and magitech anime with knights piloting mechs and battling cyborg dragons!

And for good measure a world that is having a Cold War between a steampunk republic and magitech feudal empire and a cyberpunk city state alliance!

Let the back stabbing begin!

Ah okay.

And I wasn't wanting an ultimate evil to fight! I was just suggesting some stuff...

Which I might add was influenced by the Ogre Battle series.

I like the idea for a prison for the elder evils.

When I originally thought up fiends that were so evil other fiends were appalled by them these netherworld fiends in addition to other crimes and sins attempted to mess with time and space and reality. Such things as we all know shouldn't be messed with. And the fiends knew this two and also knew the consequences of tampering with things you shouldn't fool around with. But we could make these fiends having been corrupted by the elder evils who commit evil just because they are evil. And the only evil they truly hope to achieve is the total annihilation of all existence. And we know that's just wrong.

By elder evil lets say that an elder evil is a being that existed before even the gods and are actually primordial entities like galactus from marvel comics. Or they're beings who existed before time itself or were created at the birth of creation as in the Big Bang or cosmic egg hatching.

I'm not sure about having scifi stuff. Now steampunk I'm okay with that.

Or even magitech! Now that would be great!

Another thing I've been curious about since we began is what are the planes like?

I prefer the D&D wheel system from 3.5. Makes things easier in my opinion. Also I think the elemental planes should touch one another since the ice elemental prince of evil is involved with the new temple of elemental evil.

Hmm...are y'all okay with the idea of the netherworld? A plane where fiends who committed acts so vile and evil that appalled their fellow fiends were imprisoned with the aid of celestials, elementals and other planar beings. But these netherworld fiends are able to influence the mortal plane through the fruits of the netherworld. These fruits when eaten can do one of two things: the first is summon fiends from other planes at the expense of the one who ate the fruit (fiends who are summoned this way and are later killed are banished to the netherworld as their very essence has been tainted and fouled with the netherworld). The other and usually if the eater has strong desires, will grant the person almost godlike powers. However if a person who gains powers via a netherworld fruit does their soul is destroyed and cast into the good between dimensions and planes to be tormented for all eternity. Only a god can bring back such a soul and even then it is a difficult take to be performed.

The netherworld is separated from the great wheel as it was feared that the netherworld fiends' aura may seep out and taint the other planes. And for good reason: for while the netherworld has features similar to all of the planes and even the material plane, the very land, from the trees to the flowers to the rocks to the clouds to the lava to the oceans to his mountains imprison the fiends. One can even see the tortured faces of the fiends imprisoned in this prison plane.

What do y'all think?

Vortae wrote:
In that case, I think our universe constitutes the insides of an unfathomably enormous pumpkin!

I was going to say something else but your explanation sounds better.

Youre welcome. And I have something to tell you...

After putting his arm around Zodaxus and led him away from the other partygoers, the Angelic Paladin explains to the god of freedom about the situation involving the mad king and the Temple of Elemental Evil.

Both are dire threats I'm afraid. But the Temple of Elemental Evil is of great concern to to everyone. If the evil elemental princes gain a foothold in the material plane many lives will be lost. And I will not stand for this.

Smiling a bit he asked, So what do you say? Will you aid me?

You can find the info on the mad king and the temple in the conversations I had with Atheos. And thank you! It's good to be back!

Lolth is a backstabbing and manipulative goddess. You can find a lot of stuff on her and her personality anyway online.

I can look up some stuff for you if you like. I know Wikipedia has some great articles on her.

Adriel arrived at Zodaxus party, with two guests! One was his solar angel herald, the Knight of the Holy Sun, Sir Kay de Sunfire. The other was a vulpinal agathion named Lady Chevisa, the Bard Maiden of Lore, a celestial well-versed in the lore of heroes.

Lady Chevisa wore a bliaut of a bright sky blue colored silk, finely pleated and long enough to trail on the ground. Her long wide sleeves are puffed twice in the upper arm with ties of mithral ribbon. The close, round neckline and sleeves of an ivory silk under-gown are seen at the neck and wrists. Over the bliaut is worn a close-fitting corselet in a honeycomb pattern of gold thread. It has a 'V'-shaped opening to admit the head, with ornamentation in silver, bronze, and greenish-blue in the center of the bodice. The belt, wound twice round the body, is of mithral and gold embroidery with silver cords and tassels.

Her hair is brought down over the ears from a center parting and are plaited on each side, with the plaits of hair being put into long cases of twisted gold and silver ribbons, which end in small fringes. The long veil is of fine white gold gauze and is surmounted by a foliated gold coronet set with canary yellow and brown diamonds. She carries a harp made of pure solid gold and the chords crafted from pure starlight.

Greetings Zodaxus, my friend. I apologize for my lateness, but I had to take care of some...errands that had to be taken care of. I hope you will forgive me if I brought more than two guests. I of course, brought refreshments as an act of apology for not following your invitation's instructions.

With a clap of his hands, several lantern archons and cassisian angels appeared carrying baskets of fruit, apples and oranges to be specific, grown in the Endless Orchids of Avalon, for these fruits had the power to mend wounds, cure diseases, and even lift the spirits of mortals. The very aroma of these fruits while a wondrous smell to mortals and celestials, were enough to drive away the very lords of the lower planes into the nearest hole and close it up behind them!

Okay, I know the description was long, but I got the idea from a book on the history of clothes and clothing from my local library. I had to rephrase and change a few words here and there though. XP

Also, the fact that fiends can't stand the aroma of Avalon's fruits is well-known to Adriel! He has of course an odd sense of humor!

Also is Mystra already here? I'm trying to play catch up.

Tell me about it. I hope things get better for our gm.

And yeah work has been busy lately for me as well.

I'll be taking Mystra. And sorry for not posting much. Been super busy with work. I'll try posting tomorrow before work or Monday afternoon (most likely Monday as I'm off that day).

A little weird but doable I guess.

Adriel invented...um...iPhones! Magical iPhones and enchanted computers!

.....

Not sure if that's a good thing as it sounds like I have toss Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts into the mix.

I'm going to go on a limb here and assume the elemental planes touch creating for example the plane of ice and cold.

Library:

Indeed. The problem is that the temple attracts not only monsters but also bandits and other brigands. And...unfortunately this cult has been defeated but keeps coming back. And while they usually use the ruins of their razed temples and fortresses, they are skilled in using other ruins. I've also learned that Lolth, Cyric, and Shar have assisted the cult several times in the past along with Bane and that devil prince. But they have tried to take over the cult in the past by placing their mortal servants amongst the cult's ranks. Doesn't work thankfully as heroes and adventurers have put a stop to their plans.

He smiled before continuing, the princes of elemental evil are: The evil archomentals are collectively known as the Princes of Elemental Evil. The five most famous include:

Cryonax: Prince of Evil Cold Creatures, Imix: Prince of Evil Fire Creatures, Ogrémoch: Prince of Evil Earth Creatures, Olhydra: Princess of Evil Water Creatures, and Yan-C-Bin: Prince of Evil Air Creatures. I don't normally involve myself in the affairs of the elemental planes...except for that time when I assaulted singlehandedly the City of Brass on the plane of fire. Of course that was when I was bit more headstrong. Anyhow, I have thought about the good elemental lords as well but any help you can give would be useful. I know the efreeti, the genies of fire fear Imix greatly...hm...what we need is more information. I'm afraid my knowledge of the elemental planes is limited. I appreciate your sage wisdom and creativity in aiding me in these quests. I must take my leave now. May the Code of Chivalry aid your followers for all time.

Just as he was leaving, he turned and said, And I'll be sure to send some my celestials to aid your Librarians from time to time.

With that he was gone...

Atheos's Library:

Adriel explained what the Temple of Elemental Evil was.

The Temple of Elemental Evil is a cult made up of followers of the Elder Elemental Eye or the Chained God whose true name i will not utter. They also worship the evil archomentals, who are powerful exemplary beings of the Elemental Planes and the rulers over the elementals, well there two rulers since there are good archomentals. Although they are not truly rulers of their planes, archomentals like to consider themselves as such and often grant themselves regal titles like Prince or Princess. Usually there are four branches of the temple: fire, air, water, and earth. Each evil elemental prince or princess is able to grant spells to the cultists. I've been monitoring them for a while now. The evil elemental archomentals care nothing for their followers, and have been known to kill them just because they can. They hate each other which is good as unlike their noble counterparts who at least work together to combat evil he evil elemental overlords war with one another. And their followers do as well usually scheming and backstabbing with each other while the central branch representing the Elder Elemental eye keeps the four cults from destroying one another completely. Recently they have added a fifth branch: ice. The evil ice elemental lord has no good counterpart so this presents a problem. And now my agents both mortal and immortal have learned that the evil elementals have put aside their differences to better conquer worlds. Once they have control of the material plane they will settle their differences and decide who becomes the ultimate elemental.

Thank you! I appreciate the words of kindness.

You're welcome! I'm probably going to try and write up some ideas to post when I get a chance.

Hello y'all! I want apologize for not posting as much as I used to do. Work has been very busy but I had planned to play a lot of catch up today since it was my day off. However, this morning my mom called me this morning around 8:30 am to let me know that our dog Deedee was bitten by a snake last night (I live separately from my parents in my own house but we had Deedee before I moved out). She called me about an hour or so ago to let me know that the vet thinks Deedee will make it but she'll be swollen up a good bit for a while. The snake bit her on her upper lip. But she seems to be doing okay from what my mom said. Deedee is on a great deal of medicines to help the swelling and all. We have to take her back his Friday so the vet can check her again just to be safe.

So I'm emotionally drained a bit so I apologize. I'll try and post sometime tonight hopefully. Again I just wanted to let everyone know. Thank y'all for understanding.

Actually the elemental planes do have some gods. Well somewhat. The elemental princes.

Adriel figured Atheos wouldn't go ahead and aid in the downfall of a tyrant. Still he was a shrewd angel of course.

So even though this tyrant has begun to persecute your followers and those of others who oppose him, you will stay by and do nothing?

He decided to wait and let that sink into the skeptics' god's head.

Are you aware of a group called the Temple of Elemental Evil?

Atheos's Library:

Smirking a bit, The Lord of Chivalry slightly bowed to the god of skeptics.

Ah Atheos, how are you? I'm wounded that you don't appreciate the help of my celestials! Surely you must be pleased at what they have accomplished! Why they have even caught some of your librarians lazily and carelessly sweeping dust and dirt under rugs! Haha!

Adriel stops laughing for a bit before beckoning his celestial escorts to return to his side.

As you know Atheos I am the god of chivalry and knighthood. Recently I have learned that a young king is oppressing his own people. He has even declared that he is above the Code of Chivalry! The scoundrel! I have learned that he was injured in battle while a prince and that a unicorn gave him its heart so the lad would live. The unicorn heart gave the boy great power but alas he did use this power responsibly. Now he misuses his power. And...well he seems to have declared that the only philosophies allowed are his own. Knowing that you would be offended by this declaration I thought you should know that I plan on seeing justice done. Now the only thing that can pierce the king's flesh is a sword made from the unicorn's own horn. The king has hidden away the horn to prevent it from being used against him. Luckily a band of heroes, one of whom is a paladin of my faith, and they have decided to help the resistance against the evil king. Of course the horn will need to be turned into a sword. I have learned that a group of wizards living just across the border who count among your followers have the power to do just that but they do not know of this. The adventurers will soon have possession of the horn. Maybe you might need to inform your wizards of the role they will play in this. I know that our friend Zodraxus will surely be taking an interest in the people's plight. I have also learned that the king is either a secret follower of Bane or is assisting the followers of that blackguard so we must be careful. What say you? Will you assist me in this endeavor?

The Lord of Chivalry awaited an answer.

Before the party...

Adriel accompanied by three lantern archons and a few cassisian angels appeared amongst the stacks. The archons and angels apparently not liking the fact of so many books, tomes, and scrolls crowding things quickly began to organize the records so there was more room. But the celestials weren't just organizing, they were also cleaning shelves, scaring away pests, dusting off books, blowing away cobwebs. One of the lantern archons stopped for a second to scold a newly appointed librarian who was just about sweep dust and dirt under a rug. Adriel smiled as he watched the librarians apparently at a loss of what to do. Some were appalled at what the celestials were doing while others were pleased to have some extra help. The Angelic Paladin figured he should bring more celestials when he visited the god of skepticism...

One other thing I should point out is that you can't spy on Adriel when he's in Avalon. This isn't his doing but the plane's doing! Avalon has existed before him and once was the home of ancient and now forgotten deities. The nine sisters ie nuns and the lady of the lake have maintained it until Adriel arrived. They still maintain it when he's not around. Also evil beings are not able to get near it and why would they when the lake is 100% holy water! And the mists are also holy! I'm trying to incorporate Arthurian Avalon in here so bear with me.

Also would anyone be opposed to the idea of Adriel uncovering a scheme where the temple of elemental evil and the cult of dragon are in cahoots with one another?

Well it does say in the Bestiary that angels can be any type of good. But since Adriel accepts neutral good worshippers and priests he might have angels serving him. He is called the Angelic Paladin after all.

Hm...Still deciding on my herald. Most likely a solar angel paladin or a hound archon.

Lawful good and neutral good angels as well as archons serve Adriel, and hm...well there are a few neutral good azatas who serve him as well but not many. I think some agathions also serve him as well but again not many.

Also since Avalon is the resting place of many brave heroes who are sleeping until they are needed once more some of those heroes might serve other gods and thus this creates a chance for others to approach Adriel about this or him approaching one of y'all for permission to take one of your heroes to sleep in Avalon.

Just an idea.

You can if you wish.

And yes Cyric has caused a great deal of problems for everyone!

Of course there are worst enemies than him...the power behind the Temple of Elemental Evil for example.

In terms of age, Adriel would be a middle-aged deity. Not as old as the universe, but he's not an ascended mortal either.

And btw, what would everyone's opinion be if the Temple of Elemental Evil was thrown into the mix? Just curious.

BTW, and this is a question for the GM, will we be seeing the Spellplague and Time of Troubles events or have those already happened?

Also, after checking my research, Lolth does not like other gods. She really doesn't like it when some deity tries to convert some of her drow.

Of course everyone does! Let's see now.

He caused the Time of Troubles and help to cause the Spellplague. Yeah, that pretty much explains why everyone wants him dead. :)

And you're welcome!

Adriel sat at the Round Table of Chivalry, a table that had longed gathered dust before he found Avalon. Ah he remembered the day like it was yesterday...

Untold centuries ago...

Adriel looked upon the strange island, shrouded in mists.

Tell me, Sir Arno the Justful Fang, what is this strange isle, the Angelic Paladin asked the hound archon beside him.

I'm...not sure...we only know that it be a strange place. It's not unholy...I think.

I already know that by simply looking at it. Just then, a small boat appeared, cutting through the mists.

The boat soon stopped at the bank and then a celestial mermaid appeared and held up a sword, saluting Adriel.

Hark! Be ye the one who sprang forth from his holy mother's womb fully grown and dressed to do battle?

That would be me, yes, Adriel replied.

Then the four maidens in the boat sang a joyous heavenly tune.

It was foretold that a god would come to Heavenly Avalon and be its guardian and steward! Many gods have come forth but none were deemed worthy of such an honor! Yet ye Adriel, the Vigilant Knight has come forth! Come forward and be tested.

And what is this test?

That is for you to discover, the Lady of the Lake answered in reply. Behind him, the angels and archons began to argue what the test would be. Everything from vile monsters to paradoxical riddles was suggested, but Adriel, as he looked at Avalon, soon had the answer.

He unsheathed his sword and drove it into the ground. Then, after removing his helmet and resting it beside his sword, he then knelt down and took hold of the hilt of his sword. Then he spoke...

A knight is sworn to valor. His heart knows only virtue. His blade defends the helpless. His might upholds the weak. His word speaks only truth. His wrath undoes the wicked. For this is the Code...the Code of Chivalry.

Then the four Maidens of the Mists and the Lady of the Lake sang a chorus of joy.

Ye has past the test, Adriel, the Invincible Guardian! Rise and be recognized as the Lord of Chivalry!

Upon the completion of the Lady of the Lake's words, Adriel rose and turned to look at the archons and angels behind him. They knelt in awe in presence, before rising and saluting him and shouting.

All hail Adriel, the Angelic Paladin, God of Chivalry!

The present...well, present for a god at least...

Adriel rose from his chair. I think it best if I pay Atheos a visit.

Alright here I am now! Decided to do a relationship thing like the rest of y'all. So here I go!

Scrapeknee: Ah the mad jester. Many a tale has been told of the chivalrous king who surrounded by naive or backstabbing advisers turns to the fool for aid for the jester knows when to speak his mind and brings joy to an otherwise boring royal court. I'll admit he's a tad annoying at times, but still, heroes bring great changes to the worlds they strive so hard to protect and save, so I can't dislike him too much now. He does bring luck to the heroes I watch over, and well, everyone needs luck on their side.

Tharros: *Groans* Ah yes, that...one. I try to stay clear of him. While death is necessary (no one wants a tyrant or blackhearted villain living forever), I'm not sure I'm too fond of his...view on decay. Still, he does possess fate in his portfolio, and evil eventually gets its just rewards in the end, if you know what I mean.

Zodaxus: I have nothing against him, and while we do argue often about the merits and downsides between democracies and feudalism, I do agree with him on the fight for freedom that many heroes and knights protect. Many evil villains and dictators have sought to crush the freedoms of the weak, and thus require a hero to stand up and raise the banner of rebellion in the name of the downtrodden, and there are many stories of knights rebelling against their wicked lords, so I can't say that I dislike Zodaxus. While we may disagree on how good should be carried out, I will be the first to admit that I have sent some of my paladins to aid his followers in times when freedom fighters need the strong arm of knighthood and chivalry to aid them.

Michazra: Ugh...Well...hm....I'm not sure. Being the Guide of Heroes, I have to say that we don't get along with one another. I do know that some necromancers have used the dark arts in the name of good, I would prefer not to associate with her. I will say that if my followers and other brave heroes slay a few of her...cultists...I'm not going to shed a tear.

Atheos: Ah yes, the lord of skepticism. There have been many times I can recall where we have engaged in the discussion of chivalry. He does shine his blessings on explorers and others who seek to discover new things, and many a hero has contributed to many amazing discoveries, so I can frown on his skeptical nature too much.

Babaki: Hmph. He's a wicked madman. If a brave champion cuts down an entire cult of his minions, the universe will be a much better place in my opinion.

First Mother Ishalla: The Green Maiden, as I like to call her due to her connection with the natural world. Oh I have nothing against her, and while she may represent the wild and untamed, she symbolizes an important part of the natural order of things (be a chaotic one though), so I try to encourage my worshipers to try to get along with her. I've been quite successful I should say. I may not understand her druid followers much, but there are many brave druids who have given their lives to protect the world, so my brave followers and I will do what we can to protect nature as well...in our own way of course.

Osoro: Hm....I do enjoy his company, although his stanch on creating families tends to be extremely steadfast, which isn't a bad thing mind you. He has tried to wed me with one of his daughters for several centuries now, and while I do admit she is beautiful, my duty to the code of chivalry and as Steward of Heavenly Avalon comes first. His Lion Knights do interest me, as although the idea of a knight mounted on a lion is indeed a bit unorthodox in my eyes, it does have merit and is quite unique. There are many times where our followers have married one another, and I have blessed these holy unions many times. He is a strong ally, and while we do argue at times, I wouldn't change a thing about him, and should his faithful come under attack, my followers will unsheathe their swords in defense of them.

Cil'dr: Egad! Survival at all costs!? Such a foul thought, as this can only lead to madness and sorrow. Although, I will admit that many heroes have struggled to survive against evil and wickedness, but still I try to keep him at arm's length. A very long arm's length.

Vortae: The Lord of Museums, a title I like to call him by when I visit him or he visits me. He is a puzzling one, but I do enjoy his company. He encourages adventurous natures in his followers, and from this, heroes may arise. I may not understand him sometimes, but his heart is in the right place.

Lathander: The Morninglord, he is the protector of hope and optimism. While he may not be as strongly supportive of order as I am, I do respect his beliefs of good and hope, as without hope there would be no heroes to give the world a better and brighter future.

Helm: The Watcher, he and I get along quite well. He does take his duty as guardian to extremes at times, but I understand that duty requires one to make sacrifices (I try to explain this to Osoro quite a bit). He is a protector and a guardian, and thus my faithful and his get along, although there are numerous theological debates between them.

Mystra: The Mistress of Magic is a goddess who concerns herself with the belief that magic should be used for good and not for selfish and evil purposes. I completely agree. Too often magic has been misused for the schemes of the wicked, and my knights and paladins have taken up the sword against them. I will stand with her if someone tries to wrestle the very essence of magic from her.

Shar: Shar....The Mistress of the Night...I don't like her, and neither do many of my followers. She has attempted many times to block out the sun or cause untold ruin on the innocent. I will watch her closely.

Cyric: *Spits* Never has a name been so closely associated to evil as his. The Black Sun is the lord of murder and lies. His followers cause strife wherever they go. But my followers will make sure that they are foiled as best as they can.

Lolth: By Avalon's Heavenly Mists! The Spider Queen is a blackhearted witch there's no denying that! She would see to it that the very sun itself be destroyed so the drow, the dark elves, could rule the surface world. Bah! I think not, if I have anything to say about it! She causes mayhem and suffering to even her own followers, keeping them fighting one another as much as they battle with other races so that she can keep the drow caught up in her web of lies and sin. There is no good in her at all. I am quite pleased to hear that a certain dark elf has rebelled against her and has upset many of her schemes. You can imagine my joy at the heroic irony of the situation.

Asmodeus: He is a vile one and tricky at that. He may say he supports order, but when order is upheld by evil, then only tyranny can rise. I will watch him closely.

Bane: ARGGHHH! The Lord and Master of Blackguards! He and I have traded strikes against one another and so have our followers. I will do all I can to foil and undo his wicked plans and my faithful will do the same. When he and his worshipers make a move, we will be ready.

Loviatar: The Maiden of Pain...I'll admit that there is a great deal of pain and suffering in the world, but that doesn't mean one should allow it to keep you down. Besides, she's a cold-hearted bully, and I despise bullies. What? Even a lawful god like myself can't stand bullies! And my followers will do all they can to make her mad: she despises those who help others apparently. And it warms my heart to know that my followers are helping those in need.
