As per the Organized Play Foundation Community Standards, each player must decide if they will allow their characters to be damaged by friendly fire (usually via splash damage). In keeping with the “Explore, Report, Cooperate” motto of the Pathfinder Society, engaging in non-consensual character-versus-character conflict is prohibited. While accidental friendly fire happens due to missed attack rolls or other factors, players must obtain the consent of other players before deliberately including fellow PCs in damaging effects. This rule does not apply in situations where a character is not acting of their own free will, such as if they’re being mind-controlled by an NPC and forced to attack a fellow Pathfinder.
This applies to Scenarios only
You may select a consumable item from the Pathfinder Provisions list. These used to be the school items you get prior to starting an adventure. Quests and bounties do not receive provisions.

Hello everyone! Lilythium told me this group was looking for one more and Tiger brought me in, so here I am. I know I'm late to the party here so I'm happy to try to fill based on what everyone is already playing. If any of the pregens are up for grabs, I might go for one of those, otherwise I'll just go hit up Pathbuilder and see what inspiration strikes.

Hi Everyone!
This will be Tessa's first run, so I'll be testing out how she plays. The biggest thing (smallest?) to note is that she is TINY, which mostly means that she cannot flank enemies. She also has to be in the creature's square to attack it. We're going to test how detrimental that is, especially at level 1.
Don;t worry, what she lacks in size, she makes up for in attitude.
Well from what lilythium told me they're all going to use pregens (the PCs on RPG Chronicles aren't legal for this -- greater than lvl 1). What they're playing is unknown to me. Tessa and Fae are Enchanter Tim and Chadius respectively...
If the other three people are playing the pregens, then I will take the unclaimed pregen, or maybe build out my own guy of that class with very similar stats but a different name.

Tessa clacks her long nails on the table loudly for a moment. "Oh, you know Vinny? My cousin is a sweet kid, but not the most put together, ya know what I mean?" She tosses her head, flipping the ribbons tied onto her tiny dragon horns. "I kinda figure if that kid can join the Pathfinders, I ought to have it made."
You can decide later on, but would there be any interest in continuing beyond the Beginner Box to Troubles in Grayce (going from Lvl 2 to Lvl 5) and possibly even beyond (there's an AP coming out that will go from Lvl 5 to 15) -- yes, I know it's a monumental undertaking...
Not to get carried away before we get through the Beginner Box but I've been looking for a regular long-term game for a while now so I am broadly interested if this ends up expanding into the follow-up adventures.
Instead of pregen, I will be playing with this character for the game.
The team seems to be set on melee, so I'm leaning towards trying the bard for the beginner box as long as neither Kemiko nor Lilythium had their hearts set on that class. Then if we move on to other adventures I can re-evaluate whether something else would fit better.
Im leaning towards either Champion or Cleric.
If most of you are playing your own characters for the adventure, I guess I'll make one too. And I'm leaning towards trying the Commander class and provide support and extra damage from the backlines.
So as of now, we got the following classes:

Fae Maeleranti - Thaumaturge
Unggoy Unggoyan - Inventor
Kilimaro - Bard
Lilythium - Champion/Cleric
Kemiko - Commander

Since this is Beginner Box, it might be a good time to try out a new class to see how it works. I will say that Commander is fairly complex, not just in terms of understanding its own abilities, but also how other players can use the reactions that you provide. There can also be added complexity with the PbP format in adjudicating reactions (i.e. you would have been able to give a reaction for something, but that person posted before you.) Just know that going in.
This is also played in Adventure mode, so you don't have to apply the credit to the specific character you play.

Tessa rolls her eyes and snickers. "Vermithor! Nah, he's always going to be Vinny to me, no matter what some self-important dragonfolk want to call him. I mean, no one calls me 'Tessarion' except my ma and only when she wants to piss me off good. And anyone here trying to piss me off will get a taste of these!" She flashes her dagger-like nails at Hailong.
I think we can rock with this roster and if we want to go beyond the beginner box, we can think about where the group is weak and whether any adjustments can be made without too much disruption to what people want to play.
I'm not dead set on any one class. If I can roll with a class that's not one of the ones I've played a bit of in Society already (wizard, swashbuckler, champion) and something that feels like I'm complementing the group, I'll be happy with that.

I will be traveling to visit some family over the extended 4th of July weekend-ish in the US over the next few days. It's the kind of travel where I can bring my laptop along, so I should be able to remain engaged with the game.
If you do end up waiting for me for 24+ hours, feel free to bot whatever is needed to keep the game moving. Skills and spells listed in my character profile. Put out the bard buff (courageous anthem) and then Needle Darts is gonna be the top combat move at level 1.
I just realized that I had already credited the same game that I GM’d to the PC I originally signed up with. I’ve now changed the PC who will be receiving the player credit instead. Do you all mind if I alter Tessa between floors as if we were doing PFS?
Mostly, being Tiny isn't working well for her, so she'll become a kobold dragonblood and be small instead. Then she can flank and won't need to enter a creature's square to attack it. I might rethink Fencer too. I didn't realize how hard going against PerceptionDC would be.

I'm sure that having another person who can flank won't hurt. On Fencer, I have a PFS swash where I like it, but that's because I liked the idea of being able to make something off-guard on my own when I never know if I'll be the main front-liner or not. This group has Unggoy, Fae, and sometimes the eagle in melee as well. RP-wise, I think Tessa fits most of the other styles just as easily.
