Gidget's primary Diplomacy roll: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15 degree of success: ?
Gadget's Diplomacy Aid roll: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (8) + 0 = 8 degree of success: failure if using default DC 15 Aid
Gadget looks at the warden, part of his torso shifts to reveal a collection of tools, including ones that could be used to repair the damage he did to the door, then turns to face Gidget so she can easily remove the appropriate tools.
"We will fix the damage Gadget did to the door." Gidget says to the warden.

I will spend one of Gidget's two hero points to reroll her Diplomacy check if the roll result (after Aid adjustments) is less than a success.
Gidget's hero point reroll for Diplomacy: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

Aurora quickly attempted to help calm the Warden. "Apologies Warden. We did not mean to harm you or the dollhouse. But we have been whisked away from home to here by accident. Surely you could help us?
Aid - Diplomacy: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
oops - crit fail. Reroll with 1 Hero Point
Aurora could see that she was making things worse, so she tried again to calm the Warden. "Err... we will get out of your hair as soon as we can, just need to work out how. Also sorry about the door." She quickly added.
Aid - Diplomacy (Hero Point Re-roll) : 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Well, its not like there is much else to save them for. Re-roll with Hero point 2
Seeing that she wasn't helping the situation, Aurora took a breath and slowed down.
"Look, umm... Sorry, we don't mean any trouble. But we're just trying to leave. I'm sure you know that we don't belong here, and I promise we will get out of your hair as soon as possible."
Aid - Diplomacy (Hero Point Re-roll 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

Believe it or not the first roll was a success on it's own. The original DC is 23, but it was reduced by 9 because of your very successful part in rallying the poppets.
The Warden listens intently at the group, slowly her stoic face changes as she listens to your stories, and even more when the poppets rally behind you and also share their own feelings about wanting to escape from this place.
The Warden collapses in a heap of tears, overcome with how futile her time has become. She agrees to lower the wall and allow everyone to leave, though she chooses to stay. "Why has it come to this, you all have been good companions. I guess this prison is not what it used to be. Go, go now before I change my mind, I can only hope one day my queen will come back to me. Let me be, leave me to my sorrows."
She says no more, waving off any further questions between sobs.
And congratulations! That is a wrap for this Quest.

I think we better tell Queen Anastasia about the Warden so she can decide what to do. Nari says to Sweeper after they leave the dollhouse. Hate to think of her stuck in there all alone. Which makes me wonder. Maybe we should ask her if there are any other dollhouses that contain lonely poppets. What do you think?

"That is a good thing to ask, Nari."
Gadget walking beside Gidget keeps looking at how Nari is moving her feet.
"You impressed Gadget with your fanciful footwork, Nari. Would you mind teaching him some of the basics of tumbling around?"
Gidget asks her fellow pathfinders, "Once we finish our report, what say we treat our new poppet friends to the atmosphere at the Wounded Wisp?"

"Escaping would be good as well, Nari."
