Let's go down south.

Water laps softly against the docks in this muddy subterranean cavern. Seven boats cluster around the dock, all usable and in good repair, and three tunnels lead back out to the Bunkatsu river. There are curving pictographs over the archways that lead to other parts of the complex. Along one wall is a frieze with several carved hobgoblin figures, each raising a hand in greeting.

"I've no clue what this is and it's probably not important anyways. Shall we move on?" Haduo asks, both swords gesturing towards the archways leading deeper in.

Payani studies the pictographs before announcing what he's discerned.
Esoteric Lore, tome, diverse lore: 1d20 + 12 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 12 + 1 - 2 = 23
"It appears this was some type of trading outpost of hobgoblins." he says succinctly before moving to follow the others deeper into the ruins.
Shalosar
|
Nodding at Payani, Vahrn wonders. "Well, I have not seen any hobgoblins so far, so who's using this now?"
”Let’s find out”, says Shalosar, nodding toward the doors southwest of them.
| GM Frost |
As they proceed southwest,
Dakon Mossriver's Initiative using Search: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
Maneki Pemanah's Initiative using Search: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21

White: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Dakon, Maneki, and Vahrn notice a subtly hidden trapdoor (marked in Map). Moreover, some bandits are exiting from the west and notice them.
"Trespassers!" Troublemaker exclaims, but waits to see if they can get past their trap.

As battle commences, Haduo's spark enters his twin blades. They glow red with his spiritual energy.
◇ Spark Transcendence in Gleaming Blades
"Wow..." He says to Shalosar. "So that's where your weapons were. They were inside you the whole time!"
He's so amazed by the Kineticist's tricks that he stares in awe, unable to act until the Red and White rogues act.
"Huh? Oh, right. We need to defend ourselves."
Haduo Strides up to the Blue Sneak before unleashing a flurry of slashes, performing a Flowing Spirit Strike.

Haduo, I would like to know how you get past the trapdoor.

Haduo Nue

Oh, I thought you could just walk through the boat area (now the blue stuff known as water). Thought it was some kind of dry ground. Haduo would just Long jump across.
Running back to take a running start, he Strides forward and flings himself across the water.
Athletics: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
Making it 20 feet from Shalossar's position, he wouldn't have actions remaining to Flowing Spirit Strike. That means he doesn't have his wreath up, the spark is still in the blade and Payani does not heal 8.
He does have one action left to Strike. If you're happy to take the first Strike I made last turn, that will do, otherwise I'll just redo a Strike now.

|
Payani fishes the Red one out of the water and joins Vahrn in searching the remains. He seems quite satisfied with how well the party worked together.
| GM Frost |
Everyone is now fully healed.
Vahrn and Payani search the bodies only to find mundane weapons and armors such as filcher's fork, leather armors, shortbows and bolts, tengu feather fan, and wakizashi, aside from the familiar Golden League coins in their pockets.
Into the next room, the floor is sticky with spilled sake, and crumbs from previous meals crunch underfoot. Dirty dishes from a prior meal spread across the two wooden tables.
"Oy!" a drunken tengu calls out as the Pathfinders enter. "Wanna have a drink? Here, let’s cheer!" he slurs, scooping sake from a massive vessel nearby, large enough to hold several kegs’ worth of the wine. He sets the brimming cups down among the filthy dishes on the table, invitingly close for the Pathfinders to take.
"Come on!" the tengu insists wobbingly, leaning in and gesturing eagerly. "Let’s drink and celebrate!"
Who is going to drink with the drunkard?
| GM Frost |
"What else could it be?" the drunk tengu laughs, wings fluttering unsteadily. "Life! Happiness! Everything worth celebrating!" He shoves the brimming cups across the table, liquid sloshing dangerously close to the rim.
"Come on now, grab those drinks and let’s cheer! Kanpai!"
He squints at the untouched sake and snorts.
"Those cups won’t empty themselves," the tengu insists, jabbing a claw toward them.
"Go on, take one! Let’s drink and celebrate!" he continues, throwing back his own cup in a single gulp. He then swoops up another from the vessel, chugging it just as eagerly, sake dribbling down his beak as he laughs.
Haduo Nue
|
"A-are you the owner of this place? You know, you've been down here so long that the mail's piled up and Golden League gangers have taken over. You really ought to go outside."
Haduo urges the Tengu to sober up.

"I really don't like the look of this..." Maneki says softly...

The drunk tengu pays Haduo no mind. When Shalosar settles beside him, he eagerly raises his cup in return, clinking it against Shalosar’s before greedily chugging the sake.
"I’m... I’m, you know… Kanpai!" he slurs as he cheers the empty cup again into the air this time, words dissolving into a lazy mumble. His head droops, and a moment later he slumps forward onto the table, knocking over the remaining sake as he passes out cold.
That’s when the vessels open their mouth into wide grin and begin to move.
