Pipsquick sprays the race course with a hail of fire. Shouts and screams abound while the cy-boars:

Rovuur takes cover,and thankfully the boars don't seem to pay attention. The Free Captains see another team approaching, so they break off and dash forward. New opportunity. Same deal, a Free Diplomacy check to entreat help as an automatic Aid Another to everyone's turn. It looks like it's the Stewards pulling up.

Anæja's field slows the boars down, preventing them from reaching new targets with their terrible charge. Still their blood-covered tusks are dangerous, even when not charging:

Discord (yuck) tells me that this encounter is overly deadly for everyone... but terrible dice don't help. Though I should remind you that it's a race to the end. You aren't required to kill these things.

Rovuur wonders if there's something wrong with the barrel of his weapon. Luckily Pipsqueak scores a hit! The spray REF: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 WILL: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25 doesn't stop it.

The field is still unsettling though, and it backs up, firing its eye laser twice at Pipsqueak before turning to the exposed agents west of the field:

The cy-boar keeps shooting lasers, but that doesn't stop Anaeja in sustaining her quantum field to impede its movement in case the cy-boar charges at one of them, by engulfing it inside the bubble.

Sustain Quantum Field

"Now feel how to be roasted and eaten." Once inside, she makes a sliding gesture to bring it into imageries of an alternate future where it is turned into a roasted boar, whose cybernetic parts are removed.
◆◆ Injury Echo, DC 17 Will save vs 1d8 ⇒ 4 P damage. If the target fails its save and then takes the same type of damage before the end of your next turn, it takes an additional 1d4 persistent bleed damage.

"If somebody pokes it again, it will bleed." she tells her allies, assuming it is still alive for longer.

With the violence gone, you can focus on making across the finish line! Anyone can participate in the final course, you just need two successes on Acrobatics, Athletics, Crafting, Performance, Survival, or Thievery check. Examples of relevant Lore skills include Labor Lore, Media Lore, or Sports Lore.

“Congratulations, Starfinder Society!” Rick Molbrun shouts over the blaring synthpop music. “You are the winners of The Great Absalom Relay!” Confetti cannons fire as the vidscreens around the stage light up with triumphant animations and messages from livestream viewers. “Your heroism and tenacity shone through, and you personally raised tens of thousands of credits for the Absalom Station Foundation. Well done!” To the side of the stage, Venture-Captain Arvin is grinning widely and nodding his head with pride. As a camera drone flies by, he flashes two thumbs-up to the audience.

Liall bounds on stage, holding her hand out to shake. “Heck of a race,
Starfinders,”
she says. “Sorry about that last bit, some experimental tech went a bit haywire. No hard feelings, yeah?”

In addition to the rewards on the chronicle sheet, each PC is given shirts donated by Dot at Second Time Around that read “I competed in The Great Absalom Relay and all I got was this t-shirt.” RPG Chronicles doesn't check off the boxes, but you did earn both items, you did help Nib, you got all the others to help, and you won!
