"Records confirm Tar Kuata aided Jeweled Sages fleeing Osirion. A former monk, Dhiara, shows ideal balance of discipline and ambition; her travels warrant further investigation."

As the gates of Tar Kuata close behind them and the mountain wind fades, Sobek inclines his head in quiet satisfaction. The trials tested more than steel or stamina; they demanded discipline, restraint, and respect—virtues he had honored all his life.
“The monks of Tar Kuata have my gratitude,” he says, resting both hands on the haft of his guisarme. “Their hospitality was earned, not given, and I value it all the more for that. The Sky Key has been safeguarded, and the dead—both ancient and recent—may rest undisturbed.”
When the honor of admission is offered, Sobek bows deeply. “Knowledge is a worthy path. If fate permits, I will walk it again.”
At the return to An, he listens in silence as praise is heaped upon the company, then offers a final, measured nod. “Our charge is complete. We preserved what needed preserving and learned what needed learning. That is success enough.”
With that, Sobek turns his gaze eastward, already mindful of the work yet to come—for tombs are never meant to be forgotten, and wisdom must always have its guardians.
