Tirion smiles, having successfully lead the team to the lair of the beast. “Should one of us try to sneak over, see if it is inside?” he asks.
Tirion will Hunt Prey and sneak to try to draw closer to the beast’s lair without being detected

![]() |

Drokki unwraps his meteor hammer and moves forwards "I am many things but not sneaky, so by all means" says the dwarf
He breathes some air in and looks around for any signs of the beast.

![]() |

"I can try to slip forward, but it is hard to sneak around in a house of ice. I think it best we just advance together."

GM Diaz |

The floor isn't too slick, at least in this zone.
You can move freely, at least for now.
Tirion could you please tell me your Stealth bonus?

![]() |

Chén fú sticks with the group, trying to stay more or less in the front.

GM Diaz |

Torion Erithiel's Stealth (T): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Helvi's Stealth (T): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
You see the wyrm in the middle of a bigger room of the cavern, and he sees you too (except for Helvi).
Who are you?

![]() |

Chén fú is surprised that the wyrm is willing to talk. From the way things sounded, he expected a ravenous beast.

GM Diaz |

RETCON
The wyrm speaks Draconic.
Sorry for this.

![]() |

Tirion had begun to level his bow at the beast. After all, the roar reverberating off the walls didn't sound any different to his ears than the roar of any other beast. Still, he trusts his compatriot Skilgim, and lowers his bow.
"Whatever language it speaks, I do not understand it. Does anyone here know of it?"
He gestures to his comrades to lower their weapons as well, though he pointedly ignores Chén fú.

![]() |

Drokki does not understands as well.
"Look beast ... I w-i-l-l s--p-ea-k v-e-r-y s-low-ly so that you can understand. Leave now and stop terrorizing those folks here!" Drokki speaks really slowly like this is to help in any way

![]() |

Helvi does not understand it either, but does not speak up to offer her thoughts, opting to stay well-blended into her surroundings. Her hand fiddles with the shadow sheathe at her hip.

GM Diaz |

That's a tatzlwyrm, one of the smaller cousins to dragons. They lack some of their more powerful cousins’ most terrifying abilities.
After some moments of apparent indecision the wyrm attacks you!

Tirion had hesitated to attack the creature, but seeing its a notorious bully, a tatzlwyrm, he no longer hesitates. He quickly calls out to the group. “It’s a bully, a weaker dragon! Still dangerous. Be careful.”
He then pauses, casting a quick spell, before knocking his bow, and aiming for the soft underbelly of the dragon. Finding a shot he likes, he fires the shot, before retreating to a slightly safer distance.

Tirion, I think you have -2 to your attack because of the volley 30 trait of the longbow
As he can't get a flank position Skilgim demoralizes the wyrm and fires two arrows at the creature.

Whoops, you are correct, Skilgim. Admittedly, an error easily remedied by changing the order of my actions- move, then attack, instead of attack then move. If that’s okay, GM Diaz, I’ll edit. Just rather ask for permission since I’ve already rolled

Cleanse rushes toward the Wyrm, moving with unusual speed. She tossed the cane aside and jabs with her bare fists in rapid succession.

◈ Helvi will activate a moment unending, which grants precision damage to her next strike. She shifts her immanence into her shadow sheathe with this.
◇ Helvi can free-action draw from her shadow sheathe while it holds her immanence.

Her dagger's damage dice are d6s from being an exemplar. She adds 2 for strength, 3 extra spirit damage while the immanence is in the shadow sheathe and the target is off guard, and then 1d6 precision from a moment unending.
◈ Finally, she raises her shield.

It's fine, I won't penalize you for such a tiny error.
Drokki bonks the wyrm's head violently once, but the second attack misses, while Chén fú and Celense try to gang up on it with their bare hands, but they're not coordinated enough to hit it even once.
Meanwhile, Tirion and Skilgim use the reptile-like creature as a pincushion and Helvi tries to stab it, but fails.
Even if the wyrm doesn't understand what Skilgim says, it appears frightened.
The wyrm moves next to Drokki and attacks him once again
