Dot in
Roll20

Goji here. Roll 20 kinda weird on phone but I think it'll handle okay

.

Liberty's Edge

Im here (Dr Zharkov)

DungeonMaster

Alright, so you all have time to heal up and rest.
They have armor you cannot wear worth 1,000 credits each. so 3,000 credits
And aeo rifles, all fully loaded, weapons have been recharged, no extra batteries.

History of war
Runkle Jiji the skittermander thanks you. She explain what she knows. Shortly aft you headed out into the jungle, a small fleet of vessels exited the Drift in-system. The red Clarion attempted to communicate with the vessels but received no reply. Scans indicated the vessels were Azlanti design, but visiual identification showed several unknown variants of ship and that the vessesls were royal purple rather than the iconic bright green used by the Aeon guard. By the time the ships got into orbit over Kehtaria, a firefight broke out. Runkle and her copilot were ordered to perform harrying attacks on the smaller enemy craft, but Zant soon ordered them down to the surface to scan the region and get a sense of the damage caused by the mysterious attackers performing a targeted orbital bombardment near Atuity and dropping troops in the region. Runkle confirms the Ascendant Paragon remained neutral in the fighting, though the Azlanti flotilla hand enough firepower to overwhelm the Red Clarion if things continued for too long-certainly if the Ascendant Paragon got involved. She indicates that the Hellknights blocked communication shortly after the fleet engaged the Veskarium vessel but that Sub-Commander Zant managed to dispatch a signal to the Veskarium before the shooting started. Otherwise, it appears as though the attackers have launched a ground assault on Atuity You recovered a lot of computer parts, but you have to get to a supercomputer to access them, so you have to head back to town. Let me know if you want to do anything. Heal up obviously. You can drag and drop yourself on the new map of roll20, you start at the north end, no combat yet, but things happen here. Also DC 32 computers check. Dc 20 religion check

Ray checks with the computer.

Computers: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (15) + 21 = 36

Envoy 11

Kip scratches his head at this new violent development.

"Too many ways this could be misconstrued by either side..." He remarks with worry. "Purple Azlantis instead of the usual Aeon green..."

"Could it be...?" He ponders. Religion Trained: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (10) + 16 = 26

Liberty's Edge

Dr Zharkov's peaceful voice checks its tentacle computer for both computer and religous knoledge

Computers: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (1) + 23 = 24
religon: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (12) + 19 = 31

Dataphiles

? Barathu Mystic (Shadow)

Dr Zharkov's body pulses in time to its calm speech

" It is obvious that these purple garbed Azlanti have a different master than the standard green armored Azlanti. Perhaps in time we will be able to capture one and ask it questions."

DungeonMaster

Okay, so you are now on the correct map. Add yourselves You see 3 more of these guys. One is outside the town, the other 2 are on top of that wall. The black thing is a 30 foot wall, so to pass through it you have to go through the yellow brick road where the gate is, you obviously just walk up to get up there.
You may roll stealth for init init: 1d20 + 22 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 22 - 4 = 37 If you beat their init, you get a surprise round in addition to acting before them in round 1. Otherwise if you don't beat their init you will just act in round 1. The results of the skill checks are revealed after the battle, cause you are in the main city where you can use the computers but you have to take care of this threat first.
37 is pretty high even with the -4 distraction.

Will we be doing the combat rolls in here or roll20?

Stealth init: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (11) + 22 = 33

Envoy 11

Kip opts for Perception (+20) instead of Stealth (+17) for initiative. Though, if there's any other advantage that Stealth grants, he'll go for Stealth for initiative.

Perception with Incredible Initiative: 1d20 + 20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 20 + 2 = 31

Dataphiles

? Barathu Mystic (Shadow)

Doctor Zharkov seems tired of all these interference in what it is trying to accomplish here.

Initiative: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (7) + 21 = 28

Initiative: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (16) + 23 = 39

DungeonMaster
Furenzoku wrote:

Here, but you will move yourselves on roll20, and it looks like you go before them.

When Goji rolls initiative he'll form his solar weapon with reach into gravity mode. Stride to nearest guy and binaric assault leading with the shot. Ranged : 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (5) + 18 = 23 Melee: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (17) + 21 = 38

Liberty's Edge

If people need snd order to refer to:

39. Furenzoku
37 Bad guys
33 Flask of chuckles
31 Kip
28 Doctor zharkov

damage: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (1, 4) + 7 = 12
I'm assuming shot misses, so I stay graviton and the enemy treats spaces around him now as difficult.

Liberty's Edge

1 person marked this as a favorite.

You get to go twice Furenzoku. Thst was your surprise turn, noe you need to tske your firdt round turn

Binaric assault again, starting with Melee in photon.
Melee hit: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (11) + 21 = 32 Damage: 2d8 + 12 ⇒ (1, 4) + 12 = 17

That probably hits so I switch to graviton for the Ranged attack.
Ranged atk: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (6) + 18 = 24 damage: 3d8 + 7 ⇒ (4, 4, 1) + 7 = 16

Probably misses, so I stay graviton for last attack.
Melee full MAP: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15 Damage: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (8, 5) + 7 = 20

DungeonMaster

Goji only hits once for 17 damage.
They will all supercharge weapon
They all fire their guns hit: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (6) + 21 = 27 vs Goji, miss
hit: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (12) + 21 = 33 vs Doctor Zharkov dmg: 2d8 + 11 ⇒ (8, 7) + 11 = 26 dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 2 electric dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 2 additional piercing
hit: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (4) + 21 = 25 vs Kip, miss
all heroes are up

reactive strike: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (3) + 21 = 24 damage: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (2, 6) + 7 = 15

Ray moves, aims, and fires at the nearest enemy.

Attack: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (15) + 23 = 38
sonic: 5d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 3, 6, 2, 6) + 6 = 24

Envoy 11

Kip thinks and observes what these foes' weak points are.

Action 1: Recall Knowledge on the nearest creature.
Recall Knowledge, Society: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (11) + 20 = 31

If success: What is their weakest saving throw?
If critical success: Also, do they have any special abilities?

Who do you think you are? Unacceptable! He shouts at the nearest enemy.

Action 2: Get 'Em! on the nearest enemy. (-1 circumstance penalty to AC, Reflex)

He fires his laser pistol, superior at last. Triggering Lead by Example. (Allies get +2 circumstance bonus to dmg against this particular enemy.)
Pistol attack for fire dmg: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (8) + 21 = 292d6 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (1, 2) + 2 + 3 = 8

Dataphiles

? Barathu Mystic (Shadow)

Dr Zharkov silenty glides through the air and up 10 ft towards the wall and his armor and body go dark for a second as its Tentacles wave around and .... a Divine Immolation occurs on top of the wall and fire erupts for the heavens in a 20ft burst on the two figures on top of the wall.

1 action: Move

2 Action: Divine Immolation (2 guys on the wall)

Fire Damage: 9d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 6, 6, 4, 2, 4, 1, 5) = 35
Persistent Fire Damage: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 6) = 13
DC= 31 Reflex Save
critical success: The creature is unaffected.
success: The creature takes half damage and no persistent damage.
failure: The creature takes full damage and persistent damage.
critical failure: The creature takes double damage and double persistent damage.

Furenzoku wrote:
Reactive Strike

Miss with the reactive strike, by the way, you're up again before they go

Ray crits the nearest enemy and that hurst pretty badly.
Weakest save is Fort, these are the same guys that you fought earlier, die and get back up again one last time.
You then hit with that pistol KIP.
reflexes: 2d20 ⇒ (15, 1) = 16 +19 and +19 and The left one on the wall dodges a little but the one one the right wasn't even looking in you direction as he is totally on fire.

Binaric assault ranged: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (17) + 18 = 35 damage: 3d8 + 7 ⇒ (4, 4, 5) + 7 = 20

Photon melee: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (3) + 21 = 24 damage: 2d8 + 12 ⇒ (7, 2) + 12 = 21

Final Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12 Damage: 2d8 + 12 ⇒ (4, 5) + 12 = 21

Round 2

39 Furenzoku
37 Bad guys
33 Flask of chuckles
31 Kip
28 Doctor zharkov

Ray aims at the nearest enemy and fires twice.
First shot: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (3) + 22 = 25
Sonic: 5d6 + 8 ⇒ (3, 6, 3, 4, 6) + 8 = 30
Second shot: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (1) + 18 = 19
Sonic: 5d6 + 8 ⇒ (6, 2, 5, 4, 2) + 8 = 27
I am not calculating Get Em or Lead By Example, so those may hit the same guy.

DungeonMaster

The binaric assault hits once, they will all supercharge weapon and try to hit again hit: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (5) + 20 = 25 vs goji even though that provokes, he hates you for having a reach weapon, cause he would have to spend an action to step.
hit: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (18) + 21 = 39 vs Kip dmg: 2d8 + 11 ⇒ (2, 5) + 11 = 18 fire dmg: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4 electric, doubled if crit
hit: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (15) + 21 = 36 vs Dr. zarkov dmg: 2d8 + 11 ⇒ (2, 5) + 11 = 18 fire dmg: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7 electric

Liberty's Edge

(Is the one on the wall who crit failed the save still burning badly or did he recover?)

Dataphiles

? Barathu Mystic (Shadow)

(I know Kip hasnt acted yet but Dr is just after him and there arnt any bad guys after us so Im going to post)

Doctor Zharkov continually pulsating with different colored lights flys up equal with the wall top and fires bolts of electricity at the two targets at the top.

:one action: Fly/move

:2 action: Electric Arc

DC 31 Basic Reflex save
19 Electricity damage to both targets on top of the wall

Envoy 11

Kip will Strike with his Laser Pistol, Superior at the enemy by Goji.

Pistol atk for fire dmg: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (4) + 21 = 252d6 + 2 ⇒ (1, 3) + 2 = 6

Action 2: Get In There! Kip moves forward to try and flank that enemy by Goji with Goji. Folks can use their reaction to Stride half their new Speed as a reaction.

Action 3: Stride 35 feet to get with melee range with that enemy.

AoO: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (20) + 21 = 41Damage: 2d8 + 12 ⇒ (7, 4) + 12 = 23
Actual turn: move to flank then binaric assault.
Photon melee: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (4) + 21 = 25damage: 2d8 + 12 ⇒ (3, 2) + 12 = 17

Probably misses so stay in photon for Ranged
attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (14) + 18 = 32 Fire damage: 3d6 + 7 ⇒ (5, 4, 5) + 7 = 21
If this misses too i lose attunement, and won't be able to AoO

DungeonMaster

The post before mine on March 24. Ray fires twice but misse kip misses, Furenzoku attacks 3 times, crits once but misses the other 2 times.46 damage dealt to himreflex saves: 2d20 ⇒ (11, 2) = 13+19 each, fail and crit fail. That 38 damage hurts did he recover: 2d20 ⇒ (19, 20) = 39 he did recover last turn after he took the double persistent damage.

DungeonMaster

They are out of supercharge weapons but they cast other spells.aoos from those people who have them the one guy is casting in melee. The other two on the wall will cast depending upon if that guy goes down or not.

DungeonMaster

Most likely their most powerful spell hit: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (5) + 22 = 27 vs goji hit: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (19) + 22 = 41 vs kip. Anyone hit takes cold: 6d10 ⇒ (9, 1, 5, 1, 10, 5) = 31 which is doubled on a crit and must make a fort save dc 32, don’t forget your hero points. The guy in melee didn’t cast yet as he could be interrupted.

I think that puts Ray up. If not, we can just use this post when it is his turn.

Ray again targets the nearest enemy and fires. I don't see a label on him, so I don't know what to call him. The guy flanked by allies near Ray.
First shot: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (15) + 22 = 37
Sonic: 5d6 + 8 ⇒ (3, 5, 4, 1, 3) + 8 = 24
Second shot: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (3) + 18 = 21
Sonic: 5d6 + 8 ⇒ (3, 4, 2, 3, 1) + 8 = 21

Might as well use a hero point on the second shot if the guy is still standing.
Second shot: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (3) + 18 = 21

Lot of that going around...

32 misses? Then I'm unattuned and can't AoO. Also he needs to fort save for crit spec, dc 30 or slow 1.

DungeonMaster

32 does not miss, I read that wrong but he is still up. Posting from work were I don’t have the book but take your aoo.
