The storage cube is unlocked. It contains a desktop terminal and a row of employee lockers.

DC 16 Computers to Hack:
The personnel files list Meldo, who was marked absent from work two days in a row before work shut down due to emergency orders. There’s only one lashunta listed in the files, named Veffi.

Once someone has gotten the information from the computer...

DC 18 Thievery to unlock:
Veffi’s locker contains a pamphlet and a key with a local storage plaza logo on its keychain. The pamphlet invites the reader to attend a discussion group where open-minded people gather to support each other and celebrate the coming of a new cosmic era.

The gathering is hosted by Arta, a lashunta Arcanamirium professor living in the Eye. Arta mentors a group of students who meet every few weeks to discuss dreams and omens while socializing with other open-minded people.
It looks like the meetings are now being advertised to the public, especially anyone who has dreamed of a glowing fetus struggling to break free from a planet enclosing it like an egg, apparently a shared experience among the group that has prompted them to meet more regularly for discussion and prayer.

It's easy to find Arta on social media. She spends a lot of time online in virtual chat rooms and forums, often discussing religion, philosophy, or the latest episode of Space Fortress Z-25: Apple Seeds.

According to the pamphlet, the next meeting is starting in.. soon! Soon enough that the party won't be able to make it in time, but should be able to find the meeting in progress. It isn't far.

Assuming we head there next...

A tall fence surrounds an industrial plaza, but the gate stands open. Pole lamps bathe the complex in hazy blue light. A multi-tiered parking garage forms a horseshoe around a complex of identical selfstorage units. Empty vehicles crowd the lot, some with broken windows or security lights blinking silently behind tinted glass.

The storage plaza and parking lot are both 72 feet tall (made of six 12-foot-tall stories), and bright lights are mounted on 50-foot-tall steel poles. The structures are made of concrete and steel, surrounded by a short lawn and a few short, overly manicured trees and shrubs.

Its easy to find the unit housing the meeting, as the door stands open and people are visible inside. A dozen hooded individuals form a semicircle around a chalk drawing of a planet with 6 ovoid rings surrounding it, occult sigils spiraling out from the drawing’s center.

Fengsai heads to the meeting, when she gets there and sees hooded people, Fengsai puts on her pnocho with the hood up to blend in better.

Fengsai tries to stay hidden, only getting close enough to try to figure out what the group of hooded people is doing.

Despite the ominous first impression, they seem harmless and don't seem to be doing anything magical. The meeting proceeds normally, with members sharing their joys, concerns, and describing recent dreams.

A ysoki approaches Fengsai. He's quiet but friendly. "Hello! No need to be nervous. Have you been having strange dreams and visions too? I'm Sagespark. If you're looking for Arta, she's the lady over there in purple. Can I get you a cup of hot cinnamon tea?"

Sagespark doesn't seem to notice Grizzi, but there is one person at the meeting who clearly does. He tries to hide this, poorly.

"They're fun!" answers Arta, "Don't they feel mysterious? We have more cloaks if you'd like them, in the closet there."

Sagespark adjusts his glasses nervously as he describes a dream of being an embryo trapped inside an egg that struggles to break free, only the egg is a planet, while hooded creatures touch him with cool hands and whisper in kind but incomprehensible voices. Everyone in the group has had this dream before, and they break into an enthusiastic discussion about its meaning.

There is a male lashunta there, but no kasatha. The lashunta isn't a particularly vocal participant in the discussion, which is apparently unusual enough that Arta looks over at him with concern. "Veffi, are you feeling alright?"

"That would be awful, trapped in an egg all by yourself without anyone to help you get free." Grizzi laments.

When the conversation turns to Veffi, Grizzi rushes over to the kasatha to try and be of assistance. However, he has no medical skills.

"Can I get you a drink? A meal? Multiple sets of gloves?" he offers.

"Veffi works construction," offers Sagespark, "Though he's obviously not missing, no."

"Perhaps fate has brought you to find Veffi, and through him all of us," offers Arta. Even her students seem to think this is a stretch.

"'m fine," says Veffi. The man who noticed Grizzi sneaking earlier, an aiuvarin human named Metema, seems particularly concerned as Grizzi tends to him.

Veffi remains distant. He tells the group they can help what they call the Newborn by collecting life energy and transferring it through a ritual he’s been learning about. He believes that a big enough sacrifice might help the Newborn finally break free. Arta argues that’s not what the Newborn’s faith is about.

A heated debate breaks out, then Veffi escalates by tackling Arta. Sagespark tries to help, but Veffi’s too strong for him, and the others panic. Except Metema, who sips his cinnamon tea and watches.

Zashodu has been over by the robes deciding which one to try on. He suspects the hood won't fit his buggy head as naturally as the other humanoids.

Using his telekinesis he slams a rock on the ground nearby their struggle to get their attention (and hopefully pause the violence).

Intimidate?: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (5) - 1 = 4 or should he spell attack, lol? With these rolls I'm sure nothing is working.

Veffi doesn't respond at all. He seems a little out of it.

Metema does. He stands abruptly and snaps "Don't interfere!" with surprising venom wile staring intently at Zashodu. It looks like he's casting a spell.

And the party suddenly realizes what big teeth he has... unusual for a half-elf. And they normally don't have claws at all, right? Oh crap, it really is a vampire!

Veffi is pinning Arta down, and he seems to be stronger then her and Sagespark, but... he also isn't hurting them and it doesn't look like he's about to start. The vampire is clearly the more immediate threat.
