Domehead lands a solid blow on Arm-1.
There are visible leaks from Arm-1's hydraulic pistons and the sound of groaning metal as it squeezes Wilson, before releasing him.

*** Combat over ***
A few moments later, the voice returns. "I don't need security. Please just contact Multifold Industries."
The interior airlock door opens and you get your first glimpse of the inside of the ship. You get the impression that the comfort of organic creatures isn't a priority. The atmosphere is thin and unbreathable. Light levels range from dim to complete darkness, but gravity is functional.
Do any of you want to take a 10 minute rest?
When you're ready to move on, you can each make a Survival, Physical Science, Culture, or Piloting check to try and understand the layout of the ship.
Officer Wilson
|
I'm banged up enough that a ten minute rest to regain SP would be appreciated, if there's an opportunity.
Wilson sits down on a crate. "Could use a breather for a bit, if that's alright with everyone. That thing grabbed me good."
Once he's rested up, he glances around to try to figure out the layout.
Survival: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

I'm presuming Raia will also take the 10 minute break.
Bibframe struggles to understand the layout of the unfamiliar ship, but Wilson draws on some experience with a cargo hauler to get a general idea of the layout (maybe running security on a ship or chasing a suspect through its corridors?).
The majority of the ship consists of massive cargo bays. Wilson also identifies three potential areas of interest:
* A repair bay
* An engineering bay
* The ship's bridge
Where do you want to go?
Officer Wilson
|
"Engineering seems like a good place to start," Wilson offers tentatively to the group.
Oshari Soteria, Health & Safety

Oshari won't take a rest, but is willing to wait while the others do--it's important to use your mandated 15 minute breaks!
"Engineering seems like a good place to start," Wilson offers tentatively to the group.
"Agreed. Hopefully it can give us an idea of the status of the rest of the ship."
| GM Thoughtfulmonkey |
With a majority decision made, you head towards engineering. On your way, you pass through several of the cargo holds, where pallets, containers, and other cargo are stacked from the floor to the 30 ft. high ceilings.
Those of you with dark vision can see your surroundings, but Raia also casts Dancing Lights - sending bright orbs weaving between the towers of cargo and casting long, shifting shadows around the rooms.
The holds are silent save for the occasional clink of metal or creak of the stacks settling.
Suddenly you feel a brief vibration through the floor, accompanied by a bang that's slightly muffled by the thin atmosphere.
A few minutes later, you glimpse a shape moving behind the cargo. Maybe just a shadow?
You can each make a Life Science, Survival, or related Profession check.

Domehead also +7 Survival modifier and has scent at 60 feet, if that does anything.

With the environmental field collar active because of the thin atmosphere, I don't think sent would help. But she has a chance from sight.

Order looks good to me. Is it still dim light even with Raia's dancing lights? Looks like Turret 3 will get to act before I go, right?
| GM Thoughtfulmonkey |
Yeah, seems reasonable that Raia's dancing lights would still be active. I'll say the area is small enough that you can light all enemies simultaneously.
