" Unfortunately no, though we have some Neophytes, none are ready for more than Light spells and mending. None over the Initiated save me and Terjon. I do not believe Jaroo has any druiadical students save Brother Symthe." He says as he then chuckles.
" My blessing isnt much, when you have a priestess already in your midst. She is though probably not yet at my rank in the art of the divine mysteries, she is better than my students here." He says looking at Herala. It was a mixed look of pride and sorrow.
Freya is the oldest daughter of the "Cages" Family. They are called the Cages as they are trapper/furriers and hunters. They live in a log cabin and often are seen as lesser then others around town. Freya is the tall statuesque daugther. She is more organized and discipline having spent three seasons as a caravan guard. This though makes her also want a partner like she had during those travels. As they can fight and live off the land.
The Cages hubt, fush, and Trap through out the land and have encountered various monsters and bandits alike.

"We will take then your blessings you can give, and a quick copy of the maps. Then we will seek out the advice you have given, clearly blessed from the Goddess to have such information as we can receive." Herala seems to brithen a bit as he compliments her training progress, but knows their paths had split. She was not one to settle down just yet and led in any capacity, but she could help save and heal her friends on the pathway around town. She also seemed to be excited to quickly peek at the maps, as that would give her a good idea of any changes she hasn't noticed about the town yet, which means.she may spot something useful for the group.
She was interested in this Freya woman, but with Terion and Jairdan having not spoken of her, makes her a bit hesitant to voice that opinion until later. Something seemed off about her, but it could just be she was an ambitious woman. Maybe. Or just scary.

Terion Stoutheart |

Leaving the conversation about divine aid and maps to Herala and the priest, Boram turns to Terion smiling a cheeky smile. "Maybe we should invite this Freya to go with us?"
"Maybe we should" - Terion chuckled - "She has fighting skills for sure, tracking and hunting also" - he pondered - "Perhaps we can convince her to join us" - the man looked Boram up and down, as if evaluating him.

"Wouldn't hurt." Kardin said. "At the very least, it's more hands to help us through the wilderness. Could save quite some travel time, and help ensure that we don't go hungry."

Calmer laughs " I will do what I can. If you nees I can apply healing, counciling, sell some potions and scrolls. I also will buy those from you.[b]
Calmer leads you all to a simple linrary full of scrolls and tomes. A hatch that leads down and a couple of arrow slit windows are the only exits aside the door.
[B]" Most of the information in here is local histories, treatises on the Heavenly Mother, and other odds and ins donated or found. These are teanscribed from older works. Down below are the older works yet to be transcribed so please dont disturb those without me." he says lettinf you all peruse the works. An acolyte comes in with paper and ink, as well as tea and cups for any who wish to partake. They then leave.
You have the run of the Transcribed Library of the Church

Boram the Burglar |
Letting his sense of humor get the better of him Boram had half joked about inviting the odd woman. But it sounded like she was a competent adventurer as well as someone looking for a soulmate. Nodding in agreement with his cousin he chimes in, "Wouldn't hurt." winking at Terion's keen observation.
As they walk into the library, Boram realized the temple had put a great tool at their disposal, though at the moment he was only interested in the maps. Nodding politely to the acolyte that brought the paper, ink and refreshments, he started puring cups of tea asking, "How does everyone take their tea?"
Just some fluff for the moment, Critzible, what sort of 'skill check' for copying the maps?

Kardin Shieldshatter |

"Just water." Kardin said. "Heard that ye can get addicted to tea. Gives ye headaches if ye stop." The dwarf found a seat, so as to get to work in copying the maps.
Proficiencies = Tools: Thieves’ tools, tinker’s tools, smith tools, mason tools, jeweler’s tools
Skill = Arcana, Perception, Insight, History
Are any of those useful? If not, could he just use intelligence?
Also, he has magical tinkering. One of the effects is this: "A static visual effect appears on one of the object's surfaces. This effect can be a picture, up to 25 words of text, lines and shapes, or a mixture of these elements, as you like."
Can he use magical tinkering to make a visual effect be a copy of the map they are trying to copy, so it can just be traced over? I figure that would allow us to get a 'perfect map' without too much hassle

Kardin sat down, a blank piece of parchment in front of him, and the map in question above it. He opened up his pack and pulled out his maker's mark chisel. It was used to put his own personal mark on whatever he made, but in this case he had a different idea in mind. In the top corner of the blank parchment, he slowly and deliberately inscribed on it: ᚺᛖᛚᛚᛟ × ᛗᛁᛞᚷᚨᚱᛞ
He muttered to himself as he did so, speaking an old dialect of dwarven. Each word coincided with the rune inscribed, and when he was done he sat back and watched. The parchment slowly became clear, letting the map beneath it show through. The dwarf then began the laborious process of copying the map over, by merely drawing over what was shown on the parchment. It was a simple enough magic trick, allowing him to ensure that the map he made was exactly the same as the one being copied from. All it required was the right arcane knowledge, patience, and a steady hand.

Jairdan Wynne |

While the others were copying, Jairdan was demonstrating their knowledge of the books and scrolls in this area by finding relevant maps to what they were looking for, as well as a separate stack about the ecology of the area they would be approaching— the creatures native and those encountered. One of these records had something else useful, but what was it? Were they remembering another book? Otherwise, they did seem to fret about the tea being near the resources of the library.
That Herala may have found another book relevant to her interests was pure coincidence, definitely. And that other book was one that Terion had found, and Jairdan was just making sure it did not get overlooked, of course! Any glances of suspicion were met with an innocent expression of inquiry, as if to ask if more assistance was needed.
"Just water." Kardin said. "Heard that ye can get addicted to tea. Gives ye headaches if ye stop."
Having already finished their first cup with a well-rehearsed cantrip of flavoring and cooling, Jairdan paused in the sip of their second, looking around a bit awkwardly as they set the fired clay cup back down. Their cup of tea smelled like it would be named "Summer Mint Spring" or something similar.

Herala did mostly reading, her copying ability was not the best, and she was not overly skilled with any tools that would be helpful here mainly because i can figure out if i have any tool proficiencies. She does sniff at Kardin when he mentions tea being addictive saying " Tea and coffee are not addictive. They are both wonderful drinks that are needed when one is praying or studying the mysterious things the Goddess has left us to figure out. Besides, it can have nice mugs!" She does not admit it, but the cup she had was one she had personally brought, because it had written across it something in celestial. May the Goddess bless you

Yes I think I will.
Using the local information she was able to gather, Herala checks on the maps against anything she may know herself, and consults the others with their local knowledge. But she still can not shake the feeling that Freya may be the best bet they have to get through everything quickly, and would mention it. " I just can not help but think we need Freya. She knows the area better, and she actively hunts. I can not move around in the forest that well."

So you currently have Elmo and if you Wish Freya, though you will have to talk with her.
As for the Temple, aside from the map yoi have various religious works. Some old reciepe workbooks, old trade workbooks, some childrens stories, some philosophy and story books, as well as some histories, Primarily about the fall of The Temple and then the fall of the Second Rise of the Temple.

Herala Sunbirth |

With copies of the maps all complied into a roughly newish an properly updated to a degree map, Herala looks at her friends to figure out if they had any suggestions. If they didn't she would push for finding out more on Freya, and seeing her, if nothing else to get her ideas and information on the bandits and their locations. She does keep a note to come check the histories, as some seemed different from when she was a child, but that might be due to her now being a cleric of some standing in the clergy.

Boram the Burglar |
Sorry went radio silent' trying to figure out something Boram could do to help.
Chuckling at Herala's comment about tea and coffee, Boram knew if he was doing 'night work' coffee had always given him an edge. As the priestess was looking at different resourses Boram would chip in and help return books to where they'd been removed. Harsk had always told him there was no reason to leave a mess for someone else to clean up. As it seemed that everyone was winding down Boram helped Herala compile the maps. He knew there had been a famous temple in the area, thought it might be a good place to search for loot. Might not hurt to come back and read up on it once they were done. When it looked like they were ready to go, he asked Herala, "Once we get done dealing with the bandits, maybe we brush up on our history concerning the old temple?"
As they exited, he inquired, "So which way to Freya's house?"

Terion Stoutheart |

Back from my travels.
Terion is not a big fan of tea, but he accepts some as courtesy.
" Maybe we are going the wrong way on this. That Freya may be a good choice. Why have you never spoke of her before Terion? Are you hiding something? Got a crush? She sounds lovely."
"I have nothing to hide Herala - my life is an open book" - the man grinned - "Besides you know very well my crush was always on you" - he finished with a wink.
" I just can not help but think we need Freya. She knows the area better, and she actively hunts. I can not move around in the forest that well."
When it looked like they were ready to go, he asked Herala, "Once we get done dealing with the bandits, maybe we brush up on our history concerning the old temple?"
As they exited, he inquired, "So which way to Freya's house?"
"This way" - Terion moved ahead.

Herala Sunbirth |

Herala blushes a deep and dark red, and looks away muttering and seeming flustered about, " Stupid jokes, we have things to do." It seems for all her travels, someone actually flirting with her was a new thing she still didn't seem to get. Both Terion and Jairdan would remember she didn't date anyone, as as far as either knew she had never even kissed anyone, despite the other two having vastly more experience. Even Jairdan had more romantic experience, and Herala couldn't even say they had ever done anything. Still, she was flustered, and that meant she would lag a moment behind when everyone left, making her awkwardness even more pronounced.
"Hey now, do we... well did we tell Elmo where to met us at? Or what time? Shouldn't we leave from Freya's house in the first place?" She stumbled, clearly trying to move past the earlier remarks as if she was a worldly and experienced person.

Ill give you guys time ro wrap up what research ect you wanted. Just post it as a spoiler. But I will move you along
Leaving the Temple, yoi make your way along the road. Turn at the Traders store and barn, past the Teamster, the Cheesemaker until the end of the road where a curious home, more a log cabin sits next to the local midwife.
Here the place had traps, skulls ans orher decorations as well as fishing and other gear aeound it. Inside you can hear a womans voice yelling. You cant make it out but you can tell its not a happy tone.

Terion Stoutheart |

"Hey now, do we... well did we tell Elmo where to met us at? Or what time? Shouldn't we leave from Freya's house in the first place?" She stumbled, clearly trying to move past the earlier remarks as if she was a worldly and experienced person.
"Meh... He'll find us" - Terion shrugged, amused at Herala's awkwardness.
Here the place had traps, skulls ans orher decorations as well as fishing and other gear aeound it. Inside you can hear a womans voice yelling. You cant make it out but you can tell its not a happy tone.
"Yep, this is the place" - Terion looked around - "Hello there to the keepers of the House! We come looking for Freya!" - he shouted.

Boram the Burglar |
Chuckling at the two old friends' banter, Boram is surprised that Herala seems to be blushing. He raises an eyebrow as she declares 'they have things to be doing.' As they walk towards the outskirts of town, he tries to remember what sort of 'rules' the Lady had for the members of her clergy. Maybe Herala wasn't 'allowed' to date. Shaking his head, there just seemed to be so many different rules from all the different sects who worshiped the 'Lady.'
Honestly, he didn't attend temple and he'd never really paid attention when any of the religious folks would come knocking. Two acolytes dressed in their finery, passing out tracts or some such. he'd smile and thank them, then tell them he was busy when they tried to invite themselves it. Honestly, now that he looked back at it, those tracts really did make good kindling. Maybe the different sects and the door knocking wasn't a bad thing, he did get fuel for the fire, and they seemed like such friendly folk.
Realizing they were arriving at their location, Boram focuses on the task at hand. Hopefully Elmo would be able to find them, either way Boram wasn't too worried. As the loud womans voice echoed from the shanty, Boram wondered if this was the woman Freya. If so, it may not be difficult to sort out why three days was a bit much for anyone. Tugging on Terion's cloak he asks, "Do you think that was her?"

Jairdan Wynne |

A slightly amused snort was Jairdan nodding with the question Boram had asked, familiar with the reputation that Freya had. A lot of people seemed not to notice someone if they were quiet, and an open window carried lots of stray words and conversations inside. After-service conversations on sermon days were quite informative for a number of reasons, and the main reason that they would neither confirm nor deny any purported "experience". This exchange was something that they were looking forward to seeing.

Some old cantankerous curses, though muffled were obvious borderline blasphemous followed the feminine tyrade from before. Strangely the same female voice retorted in kind.
A door opened and a male in hide, leather and fur steps out. He over six feet in height with broad shoulders and long blonde hair. Blue eyes look up over a w
Blonde beard. He puases hands out and hovering near his hunting axe and long knife.
" Can...Can..I help you?" He says skittish, not used to people waiting outside his home.

Herala Sunbirth |

Herala was clearly taken back by the cursing she had heard coming from the house, and was busy making a sign of good fortune for the home when the door opens. She looks to Jairdan or Terion really to lead this discussion, given they both knew Freya better than she did. At least to her memories she didn't know her, but it had been a few years, and people do sometimes drift in and out of town. Look at their two new friends, they were new.
That and now she thinks about it, haven't the Cages always been here? That would mean Freya could be around the same age as her and the others, and Herala has a distinct memory of a much stronger girl dunking her head into the water trough a few times, and some much confusing feelings about her when she was growing up. Sure it came from her not exactly telling the Sister how she had gotten her dress wet, but why she never snitched in the girl was a mystery. She should have asked Terion because this house seemed familiar, but she couldn't place her fingers on why.
"Lady please bless me on this venture." she mutters softly, hopefully this encounter goes well. At least better than the store man.

Terion Stoutheart |

"Hi friend - I am Terion" - the man introduced myself - "Hailing from Hommlet - I think we've seen each other around the village" - he added.
Have we?
"In any case, me and my companions are planning a venture which will take some traveling around the region, and we are looking for a competent tracker to guide us" - he explained - "We have heard Freya is one of the best, so we came looking for her"

![]() |

Kind of, The Cages tend to keep to them selves. The Father Harl ans Freya are mostly seen. Harl from his in town Trading Freya from her trek to the temple. Other wise the other Son and his wife are pretty much known about but never seen
" Terion...oh yeah Da has dpoke of you. You killes them um...yeah: He says apparently inebriated. As he did speak another womans voice piped up and it was load but firm.
The man shivered and looked at the ones gathered." Well she is comimg, Later" He says as he runs around the building grabbing some fishing stuff and bolting into the wilderness.
" Helck get back here and apologize to..." a tall statuesque woman with golden blonde hair and ice blue eyes steps out. She is clearly over six feet tall. Her shoulders were broad. Unlike the man, Helck, she was dressed in woolens of green and brown. Her hip held a well kept but also combat seasoned blade.
" Oh hello, did my brother..." She puased as she then awkwardly curtsied " Apologies, I'm Freya, did you need something. My father is still on the scouting comission, but when Helck gets back I can have him hunt down or scout what you need? Or is it something else" she says speaking in an interesting accent, almost as if she had to practice hiding the local one.

Boram the Burglar |
Watching as the fellow steps out and speaks to them, Boram is a little surprised that the man seemed to be drunk. Hearing the second woman yelling, Boram decides that if he had several women yelling at him every day he might stay drunk all day too. He smiles to himself, or he might just leave.
As the tall statuesque blond-haired woman steps out, Boram realizes she practically twice as tall as himself. As her hips were eye level to him, Boram quickly noticed the well-kept sword. Smiling, this was exactly the sort of woman they needed. One he could hide behind.
Hearing the previous fellow was her brother, Boram decided she clearly won the genetic lottery. Stepping from behind Terion he gives a graceful bow. "Greetings Freya, I am Boram the ... traveler and these are my associates. Terion here has told us of your forestry skill. We were wondering if we could hire you to guide us to the old Moat house and back again."

![]() |

" Did I get the greeting right or was ol' Becmar tricking me again?" She says a bit of a smile on her face. She shifts resting with one foot plated as she lets a hand rest on her hip opposite her blade. A cocky gitn crosses her fave as she looks down at the party.
" I appreciate the praise but Im here to settle down, marry raise some kids." She then leans down to stair Boram in the face.
" Now should my partner want me to adventure with them, then By the Goddess I would! Im not letting some goblin or monster take them away. Not at all. So if you are okay with that then I will adventure out." she says wryly.

Boram the Burglar |
Chuckling at the greeting Boram nods, "Very close, very close, you want to roll the 'r' more, so conviviality doesn't sound like sink." Believing any sign of fear would deter this woman, Boram makes sure he doesn't step back as she bends over and looks him in the eye.
He raises an eyebrow when she speaks of her 'partner,' holding her gaze for a moment. Unsure if he'd misunderstood the earlier conversation in that she hadn't found a 'Partner' or that she was inferring that if a member of the part were her partner, she would accompany them.
He shakes his head, "I am a simple halfling, and am confused by your answer. Settling down and raising kids is fine for some. But are you saying you desire us to invite your present partner along? If so Introduce them and I will personally invite them." He shrugs, looking up at Terion. "Or are you saying that if one of us were your partner you'd accompany us?"

![]() |

"Good to know" she says luaghing. She then stands back up and then nods.
" Just happy to know that he wasnt tricking me. Especially after I saved his life."
Freya then laughed again and answered him. " Sadly a beautiful maiden like me has no current partner in mind. However should a member of your party offer I would oblige. Though we would have to go to the church and make it offical" she says a serious look on her face. In fact it was the most natural look since she had arrived. She was imposinf and seemed veey confident.
" Thats up to you though. Otherwise I can try and qrangle my brother when he returns. If the pay is right" she states. All business since after the last laugh.

Herala Sunbirth |

Herala stays strangely quiet during this talk, the flashbacks of Freya dunking her when younger were still fresh, even of other pranks and gags that made Herala the butt of the joke for months causing the cleric to be more withdrawn. Freya's behavior had confused her for months and years when younger, because unlike the other kids bullying, it never harmed her, but was more like what an older sister would do to harass a younger sister. Or maybe because Herala had always been close with two of the town's most well respected men, but both Terion and Jairdan didn't really get known until later.

Terion Stoutheart |

Terion pondered Freya's words for a few moments - "Look, I am no matchmaker, and certainly not one to advice others on their lives Freya" - he shrugged - "And without wanting to offend you or anything, I don't think you will find a life companion sitting around in your home" - he added - "Don't you think that being out there, adventuring perhaps together with us , facing dangers and shared hardships — isn't that how strong bonds are formed?" - he paused "I mean... You share experiences, rely on each other. That's often how you find someone special. It's simple, really - face enough challenges together, and you might just find what you are looking for, along the way. What do you think?"

Once Herala is on the geound she throws a playful punch at her shoulder. It was awkward. Worse she uncomfortably chuckled. " Looks like you grew into a looker.Horns! I knew you would. Oh and a priestess too!!! Congrats" She says with a warm smile.
Freya had adjusted and her face was not as red.

With all of the tact of a hammer, Kardin crossed his arms and said "I really don't understand ye long-legs." With a frown he said "Maybe it comes from lack of air with ye heads up in the clouds, but it be clear that Freya is fidgeting with her hands on her skirt or near her blade and be nervous around Herala. It be painfully obvious that ye be nervous around her. And it nay be malicious." He said, calling out the obvious by just stating the facts. "So let's just give the two of them some time alone." He said to the group. "We've got a job to do, and seeing as how ye all don't have any clans to do matchmaking properly, we need to let the kids fumble around in the dark. A mine that is too crowded will bury everyone." He finished as he turned to leave, sharing the dwarven saying without consideration as towards whether it truly translated well into the common tongue.

Jairdan Wynne |

Jairdan tended to position themselves somewhere near and behind either Terion or Herala, and it took a second between looking at the two and Kardin giving his wisdom before something was decidedly interesting not in this immediate space. The tuft of grass just over that way looked like it was a good place, and look there! A tree that had not been seen yet! Clearly these things were due for some inspection, and now was the perfect time.

Not sure if wrangling her brother meant that she would bring him along, or if she was sending him instead, Boram considered asking but was relieved when Terion voiced his opinion. About to chime in Boram's surprised when the big ranger called the half elf 'horns.' He was even more surprised when Freya started fidgeting with her hands and nervously looking away.
Relieved when Kardin said he didn't understand the 'long-legs' Boram nodded. He didn't really understand the whole thing either. Heading to the church to make things 'official'? Without even a dance or two or as much as a peck on the cheek? But hearing Kardin say 'matchmaking' as he gestured between the half elf and the big blond woman, Boram realized Kardin was talking about something else altogether different. Apparently, the dwarf understood a whole lot more than he did. Blinking, trying not to look back, he followed the other three biting his tongue so to ask questions.

I don't think Herala would notice enough, given her own nervousness and awkwardness lol
Herala blushes a bright red when Freya calls her horns, and then flushes deeper with the kiss. It was was more clear she was confused on how to approach Freya more than anyone, given their past together. Well, it seems clear to anyone but Herala there was some feelings there on both sides, but neither knew how to approach it.
What makes it worse, the group knew Herala to be somewhat confident, so when she stammers and proceeds to stumble and talk a bit too much would be really revealing on how she feels. It might even confuse the boys because she had readily handled the shopkeeper with confidence.
" It's really good to see you Freya, yes I am a priestess now I took training, I'm back to help out and we are going to attack the bandits and I remember you were really strong back in the day and we need help and you seem like someone who would be really good at helping and I mean I'm not sure if any of the boys would like date you or anything but I would I mean if you wanted you could maybe help I don't know they say you are really really good at hunting and tracking things and your still really strong I mean who can pick up a priestess in full armor and weapons that's really strong." Her cheeks are flushed as she talks, and she doesn't really look up at Freya, each time she does she goes a bit more red. Which was strange, considering as dusky skinned as she was, she was almost like the opposite of Freya, a bit shorter, darker hair, though still pretty not as obvious as Freya was.

Freya smiles a very happy smile." And you're still cute too." a giggle. A geniune giggle as she reached out and brushed some stray hairs out of Heralas face.
" Oh, I think several of your group could have lived up to my expectations!" The blonde laughs as she then looks into Heralas eyes.
" I have to say I am glad to see you. When I came back you were gone and well I had alot I wanted to say to you. Forst was an apology. I didn't realize that I liked you. Like liked you liked you." the women laughed again. A pleasant laugh as she watches the priestess blush. With her hand still close she lets her hand touch Heralas cheek and tilts the womans head up.
" So how about it, you wanna marry me?" she asks with a earnest smile.

Herala seems nervous and glances at the boys, but she was blushing a color of red than seems like it should not naturally work against her skin. She doesn't move though, trying to figure out if Freya was serious, but truth was, they needed the help, and what harm would come if they tried it? She was unaware of anything against it, so she says. " Freya, I.. I mean.. I'm not.. I've never really kissed anyone, and I mean.. you want kids, how would I do that? I mean sure there may be a spell or something I don't know, but I mean... Maybe we should see if we even like each other? What if I snore?" She was not convinced, but she did not really have a good argument against it. Freya was a good woman, even if she had been a bit rough in her youth.

![]() |

" Oh the first is easy, the second isnt that hard either. Heard a spell we could get to change sex for a little bit, or you know adopt. As for the last bit...I guess you are right about that." Freya says as she stands back up and strikes a pondering pose.
As she ruminates on the words she bose give glances to Herala. Measuring her at times, other times just looks of object adoration, with a couple lustful looks thrown in.
After ehat seemed like an eternity the tall blonde steps forward grabs Heralas face and kisses her deeply on the lips. A momenr passes and with a slow parting Fraya smiles and says. " With this kiss I accept."
She lets that set in for Herala as she steps back and addresses the other party members
" So Boys looks like Herala has secured you a guide. We will meet at the Welcome wench in about an Hour. I'll get my gear and an idea of provisions we will need. Does that sound reasonable" cam a semi professional reply as the woman stood one arm restinf on her sword and the other was adjustinf her hair. She was back to beinf confident and cocksure.
" If not...than should anything happen to Horns" came a very cuttinf voice, as if your veey mother had admonished you mixed with a kings ultimate judgement.

Watching as the tall blonde and the dark half elf muddle through, Rory wonders if all humans sort things out so. He'd been raised in a city of dwarves, of course there had been a small halfling enclave, but neither races handled things quite like this. As Freya embraces Herala, Boram gets the idea that things might be going their way. Smiling when he realizes he was right, he quickly nods and agrees, "Glad your with us, We'll see you in an hour at the 'Welcome Wench'."
As he turns, he hears the last part of the agreement, not quite sure what the woman meant. Nearing Herala, he smiles, "That was some good negotiating back there. But, um, why does she keep calling you 'Horns'?"

Jairdan Wynne |

The declaration was something that Jairdan read with surprise, looking to Herala with both eyebrows raised, and a tilt of the head that accompanied a slight smile that was part teasing, and part happiness that the one that had given her no small amount of grief when they were younger seemed to have come around. They did shrug at further implications, guessing at the exchange, but they were progressing, and the sooner they were done, the sooner that they could sit down and rest. This was a lot of walking they were doing, and if it were not for judicious castings of a minor magic, they would look a mess.

Herala was surprised, shocked, and well, frankly that was her first kiss by a woman! She doesn't seem repulsed by it, given her Goddess and their particular branch was not one of strick roles, given she was able to rise up to become a starting powerful cleric, but she was certainly confused. How did Freya go from picking on her to marrying her?! This was clearly too confusing as Herala never had anyone really flirt with her that she didn't know, or at least that she was aware of. When the group finally moved away, her brain starts moving a bit more, and looks at the group to ensure that really happened.
" I am a demon born... only one parent was a fully elf. The other is unknown to me." Her words were soft, clearly not focused on the question, as she tries to puzzle out Freya's actions. Since when would ANYONE want to be with this bookish cleric? She didn't feel she was that attractive.
" Terion, why didn't you tell me she had a crush on me for all these years?!" Herala whispers, a bit panicked as ideas swirl through her head. What else has she missed reading books?!

Boram the Burglar |
Nodding as Herala explains again that she has some sort of background other than elvish Boram furrows his brow. He'd understood that fact already, but he still had no idea what that had to do with 'Horns.' As she continued speaking to Terion, he realized she did have a lot more on her mind than explaining childish nicknames to him, so he left the topic along.
Gesturing towards the ' Welcome Wench' he asks, "shall we return to the tavern and await our two newest additions?" As they walked that direction he asked, "Should we try and hire the barbarian and monk we saw talking?" He was about to add that they looked like they'd make great meat shields, but realized it might seem overly insensitive. Instead he added, "Or the old wizard that was sitting by the door?"
