Mange bites the worm, but his jaws have trouble to pierce the hard skin of the demon DR, but is strong enough to cause some damage. The worm is already crawling, so it cannot go further down into the ground.
Lady Alya puts another cold iron bolt through the purple man.

Lady DE Qill waited by the tree, She watched this old knight trudged through the mud back to the mounts. She could see the world's weariness in him. She had seen it before in older human soldiers. Their sad shot lives meant later in life they often lost hope > becoming hard and cynical. New faces came to the command and soon were killed. Why get close to them? She understood this all too well. She felt the same way sometimes with short-lived races. But elves lived ling and so passed through this darkness in most cases, it had a name in Elvish. That meant relighting the soul. However, most humans have so little time in older life they seldom find their way back. So she could see he was resigned to a fight he would not come out of one day. She could forgive him. His so-called experience was little more than Survivor's guilt and mixed with the acceptance of his fate. She said nothing for nothing she could say would help this jaded soul. He must find his own way. So she rides with the others, saying nothing.

"Evil? The Inheritor never saw to give me such a supernatural sense" the half-elf looks pensive on Greet's question "She teaches to protect the weak as you say. But why shall I be evil just because realization if you cannot put a sword on the hand of the weak and train this person, will always will weak." the knight pushes forward his mount "But we are all weak in a way. Aren't we? It is better not to think too deep on that if you want to keep your head on place, my leshy friend." he smiles to the leshy, apparently fond and impressed for far by the plant shaman.
Mange halts a second sniffing in the air, but poor wolf has no way to tell you what he just noticed. It is only when skyrocket takes to the air and tells you telepathically that you spot the dark plume of smoke in the distance.
"It is coming from the direction of Fort Portolmaeus" Sir Ilivan confirms frowning worriedly.
As the River Road winds back down through the hills, Fort Portolmaeus comes into view.
Fort Portolmaeus sits on a tall rock outcropping in the West Sellen River, surrounded by rushing waters on three sides. A stout, stone bridge connects the fort to the river’s eastern bank, with a closed wooden drawbridge protecting the final approach. The keep itself is built of dark stone with tall curtain walls surrounding a squat central keep that peeks out above the outer fortifications. Portolmaeus has been the scene of a recent battle. Soldiers dressed in the colors of Mendev move around it making repairs, while others use carts to remove the bodies of humans and demons slain in the recent attack.

She just taps Greet on his vine.
"You are good soul Greet"
She says nothing as the old knight talks about evil.
Once they get within eyesight of the fort.
"How often do they get attacked?"
She asks the old Knight.

Greet deeply thinks about concept of not thinking - leshy spent decades in this condition while stars slowly moved above, and flora grew around. Although thing about head in place still was far from understanding. Sir meant being dumb helps to remain whole?
But smoke from the fort and telepathic messages from familiar returns him to reality.
- Should we show some flag to show intensions?
Leshy feels this this mission is far from end. And asks eyes in sky to look for few trees or bushes which can provide fruits/ berries around. Without much hope though.

Makras nods as if carts of dead soldiers and demons was exactly what he was expecting to see. For wasn't the Worldwound the clearest indication of the end times made manifest? "Aye, there it is!" he shouts to the other Pathfinders, pointing. "Deaf to my words ye may be, but do your eyes lie? Cast off all doubts, and know that you too shall soon be taking the final ride to a cold tomb or a pauper's ditch, there to repose for all eternity until even the maggots tire of your bone-dust!"

Alya now stopped took her spear and pulled a triangle pendent-banner from her pack, It had on it her family crest, and she started to affix it to the head of her spear. As she walks she says.
"Here, Makras, Let me tell you a joke about death. A Dwarf, a gnome, and an elf all die and go to the Boneyard. Now apparently, Pharasma had decided it was getting too full, so she made a game where you have to climb up a flight of 50 stairs and on each step hear a joke. If you laughed, you got sent to the next life, if you could make it to the top you got sent back to life. So they all start up the stairs. The dwarf laughed on the 20th step, the gnome laughed on the 30th. But the elf, as shocking as it may seem, managed to get all the way up to the last step and then broke out laughing. Before they were sent on their ways, the dwarf asked the elf what kind of arcane magic it had used to cheat on this game. The elf simply replied, "Oh, that was the first joke I got."
And she busts out laughing. Husting her spear she starts for the part.
