Wymarc manages to get White Rose to the safety of the ledge, and with the help of the rope, it's thankfully pretty easy to pull her out.
After a couple of minutes, Shamus and White Rose are back to their normal selves just as Iesha finishes destroying the stone door.
Everyone else is able to cast prep spells if you wish.
The door shatters revealing a small passage leading to a cave-like room. Just by the entrance you see the horrible figure of Aldern Foxglove, now a ghast. His noble clothes are stained in dry blood. Most of his long hair is gone. His hands and teeth are long and monstrous. He carries a big rusted war razor, brandishing it ready against the intruders to his lair... but his wicked smile vanishes the moment he sees Iesha stepping into view.
His eyes grow in recognition and disbelief.
"Iesha...?" he whispers. The weapon falls from his hand. He gives out a cry of grief and falls to his knees sobbing. "My love... My love... I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't meant to-... It was-, something overcame me. The rage blinded me, I swear. I'm sorry. Iesha, please... please... forgive me." He begs between sobs. You never saw or even thought a ghast could cry.
Iesha walks to him with an unnatural grace. Her pale cold hand reaches down to his swallow cheek, caressing it and drying away a tear. Aldern smiles sadly, leaning against her comforting touch, closing his eyes enjoying the almost forgotten softness. But, then, he frowns confused, noticing the hold of her hand has shifted to what's left of his hair in the back of his head.
"Iesha?" He whispers looking up just. Her eyes are wild with fury and vengeance. She shrieks again, slamming her free claws with a powerful blow trying to rip his jaw and destroy him.

Ieashe smiles... her own body collapses forward, falling over the decapitated body of her one time lover, as if embracing him.
Now that you have a moment to process what just happened, you notice the air in this damp cavern reeks of a horrific stench—a foul combination of decay, brine, and mold. The cave contains a rickety table, its damp surface cluttered with all manner of what appears to be garbage: empty bottles, bits of clothing, crumpled bits of paper, and more, lying in neatly organized rows. A chair with high back and cushion are horribly stained by smears of rotten meat and its arms are sticky with blood. A smaller table sits against the southern wall, its surface heaped with plates and platters of rotten, maggot-infested meat.
The horrific stench of the room seems strongest to the west, where the cave’s wall has been overtaken by a horrific growth of dark green mold and dripping fungi. At the center, a patch of black tumescent fungus grows, its horny ridges and tumorlike bulbs forming what could almost be taken to be a humanoid outline. What appears to have once been an exquisite puzzle box the size of a man’s fist lies smashed on the ground at the fungoid shape’s feet... You could have sworn it just moved.
You recognize this area as the one in the vision where Vorel's wife also came to stop him from turning into a lich by destroying his philactery.
I'll need perception checks, K. Arcana, K. Religion, Spellcraft/Detect Magic. Whatever you feel relevant here.

Wymarc finds that mixed in with the strange souvenirs is a letter written in a graceful hand. Addressed to Aldern at his Magnimar townhouse address.
Aldern,
You have served us quite well. The rats you brought us from the caverns far exceed what I had hoped for. You may consider your debt paid in full. Yet I still have need of you, and when you awaken from your death, you should find your mind clear and able to understand this task more than in the state you lie in as I write this. It's a pity you did not take care of avoiding getting bitten by the rats.
You shall remember the workings of the ritual, I trust. You seemed quite lucid at the time, but if you find after your rebirth that you have forgotten, return to your townhouse in Magnimar. My agents shall contact you there soon. I will provide the list of proper victims for the ritual in two days’ time. Commit that list to memory and then destroy it before you begin your work. The ones I have selected must be marked before they die; otherwise they do my master no good and the greed in their souls will go to waste.
If others get in your way, though, you may do with them as you please. Eat them, savage them, or turn them into pawns—it matters not to me.
It would seem Aldern fell in debt with some nefarious group in Magnimar while trying to cover the cost of the renovations of the house. At some point he killed his wife and got the assignment from them to turn some of the sickened rats in the basement. He might have been bitten and started to turn into a ghoul... whether or not the fact that he retained his memories as a ghast is because of his connection to this foul house is a matter that you might never know.
White Rose looks through the room trying to find any other clues. Her detect magic pings at the shards of the box lying at the feet of the weird fungi and mold patch that has a vague humanoid form. She identifies it as the remnants of Vorel's Phylactery. Before she can get any closer to investigate, Wymarc catches movement from the shards, vibrating in excitement, reacting to her proximity. Wymarc is able to stop her.
