Waiting on Mom-Ragi or just a busy GM? Either way, just checking in.
| GM Ietsuna |
The group begins to crawl through the tunnel behind Phidoe. You crawl through the tunnel as it goes dead straight about 300 feet before you reach the end and drop down into a larger tunnel. There is no way to go except back the way you came or off to your left (SOUTH). The tunnel that goes on for about 1100 feet with tunnels going off to the left (EAST) at 300 feet, a "+" shaped intersection at 700 feet and a tunnel off to the left (EAST) at 1100 feet.
Sionnach 'Onna' Brummagem

Onna, still in her 'Fat Aghurr' form, pulls a piece of chalk and marks the passages. She does this low to the ground in an effort to make it harder for anyone to detect their passage.
"I didn't realize it was going to be a maze. What's the rule, pick a direction and consistently pick that at every option to prevent getting lost? I say we keep turning left. That way we have a pretty good idea how to get back out."
South?

You look around this chamber. It seems to be a small room, 20 feet by 20 feet. The floor, walls and ceiling are made from quarried stone and fitted together with mortar.
I have added a map to help you with directions etc and tracking where you are and where you have been. You are the green circle. Squares are 100 feet.
Phidöe
|
Sorry I've been so slow to post lately. Will try to do better going forward.
Phidöe's tiny size makes the crawl through the maze less unpleasant for him than the others but still he doesn't love being cooped up like this. Ah, you can hardly throw a stick down here!
He sniffs the air, trying to determine which way to go next.
Survival DC 15: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (19) + 0 = 19
"Hey, look, someone in boots went that-away!" he points his nose to the South.
Ikari Hateshinai

Ikari stretches as best he can in the small room. Is it full height, or still low ceilinged?
"One of these days I'm going to have to learn how to assume fox shape" he growls.
"We should follow the trail, Phidöe."
Hiiragi
|
"Well, you know what they say about assumptions..." shrugs Mahtwoud, then ponders a moment.
"Or maybe you don't. I shouldn't assume."

”Ah good job Detective! Follow the tracks to success.”
Phidöe

Phidöe woofs softly at the others in agreement and then heads off down the trail, following the footsteps and searching for any scent.

The group advances along the tunnel and comes to another intersection. This is a "+" shaped intersection. The tunnel heads back the way you came (North) as well as off to the east, west and south.

Phidöe sets off to the West at a gentle trot.

Unfortunately, I don't have Trapspotter. I can try to disable what we find, but no automatic chances to find them.
"We still need to be careful of traps and ...other things. We haven't had great luck underground. Especially in sewers under cities." She doesn't feel it necessary to remind everyone how Hiragi almost died to swarms and cubed-shaped gels.
Phidöe

Phidöe woofs in agreement and slows down so that he can look for any potential hazards.

No simple garden pests, giant slugs pose a serious threat to those caught in their path. Folk who dwell near swamps and other regions that support giant slugs risk losing livestock and even their homes to these enormous beasts. Giant slugs constantly wander in search of food, their preference being fleshy organic material, which they slice into smaller, easily gulped chunks with their rasp-like tongues.

"Delightful" Ikari growls "How does something that big get down here? What does it eat?!"
"Better make sure it's not us, eh?"
Wasting no time, Ikari grips his enchanted spear and thrusts forwards before the slug can react. As he does so, he is wreathed in flame...

After ensuring everyone is in one piece, Onna has everyone look about for the trail they have been following. "Yes!" She feels a little proud of herself as she notices her hard work developing these new skills is paying off. "I got 'em. The tracks head off toward the east."
